This is the best cafe in Cheddar and it has allot of heart! Very cosy and cute! Love the furnishings very quirky and welcoming. Food really delicious and wholesome. Great art work as well.

Very very busy with two ladies serving in a stressful atmosphere and yet they were great, especially Helen. Well done! Coffee was great and seasonal berry slice.

Super lovely staff, helpful and kind, lively and busy atmosphere but not overbearing, even a christmas tombola out! was a lovely place to stop for a quick coffee.

I’m a regular at SoNo beach & love everything about Sobo Beach. The location is fabulous, right on the beach. Love the way that they “cosy” it up in the winter with a sail covering & heaters. Food & drink are great from breakfast baps & coffee to cocktails & beers at the legendary Sunday Sessions. One or two reviews mentioned that it’s a pricey, given the location of SoBo Beach I personally think that they’ve got it about right. The atmosphere is always warm & friendly. Everyone welcome from babies to oldies. Love that it’s all dog friendly & have never seen problems with dogs (they even provide dog blankets for your dogs) An amazing addition to Southbourne Beach.

We heard The White Hart was under new ownership so we came along for midweek lunch - it was great! We were warmly greeted by a kind lady behind the bar which had lots of ale, lager & cider choices. We ordered the daily special with a drink which for £12 was great value. The Cod & Chips and Scampi were exactly what you’d expect from a country town pub grub - well worth the money. The desert of STP was also lush. We’d definitely recommend this pub for a great quality and great value midweek lunch. We’ll come back for Sunday Lunch soon.

Lovely view, I was told to sit before I could be served, so I asked a gentleman who was sat at a table for four if he minded if I sat there, he said that I was welcome, but still no one served me. After a lady was given two coffee’s on next table next to me I pointed out that I was still waiting ( she came in after me ) she said that she was waiting for her husband to come. I pointed out that I was actually here . I was eventually given a coffee but with an attitude like that they don’t deserve customers. I didn’t expect a red carpet, but I didn’t expect to have to ask three times, and be served so begrudgingly It’s a good job there is a good view, they have nothing else to commend them.

Been in many times enjoyed tea, milk on side.. Today served by short grey haired woman who put tea, boiling water and milk in one mug. Previously every other person serving me put tea bag in boiling water with milk in small jug on side. One can make the best of the tea taste this way. The moment the water heat is reduced with milk the tea tastes like milky water. Changes colour but tasteless. Should have complained but i sensed that woman would not care.

We visited here on a a Wednesday afternoon in March. We did some shopping using my mobile phone which scanned all the items, once I’d remembered to tune in to Waitrose Wi-Fi ! It worked quite well until I reached the payment area, and the machine did not recognise my transactions, but, with the help of the supervisor, it eventually did! Next time, I think I’ll use a Waitrose handset ! We bought a mug of tea, bit sad they do pots of tea! A bit disappointed, but the area was clean and we enjoyed looking at the magazines front pages from where we were sitting! I was tempted into buying one. Disabled parking very good, and staff very pleasant as always . Lovely display of flowers and plants.

We visited this place very recently as thought it would make a change from spoons etc. The cafe is very small.we didnt get a hello or any kind of welcome..anyway we sat down and asked for a menu only to be told it was on the board by the order counter. There was a blackboard with about 5 items..So I assumed it was just the specials board..So I asked what else they did but I was told quite abruptly that there was nothing else on offer. I did fancy a jacket potato with beans, or a bacon sandwich or a fry up..So I said to the lady that I didn't want either of the 5 items on offer..She preceeded to say rather rudely.."Well that's enough" lol... Needless to say we left without ordering. This is the worse cafe in MSN..No wonder they had to move up the corridor to somewhere half the size..Essence cafe..A smile doesn't hurt plus to offer 5 items only plus cake is ridiculous In future will stick to spoons or jacarandas

Food was good. Young girl serving however, was stroppy, arrogant & downright rude. Didn't listen to our requests on the food & almost slamed the dishes onto the table.

Sadly it is not as good as it was , we went for breakfast my husband wanted big breakfast , they only do this at weekends .The server was lovely was very helpful and suggested it in a bap.He left the vegan sausage as it was tasteless.I had the bacon with maple syrup and a waffle , the bacon was scarce and the waffle over cooked. I don’t think we will be going back we used to love it when the previous tenants were there. It's no where near as busy as it used to be which is a bit of a indication as to its popularity .Reduce the rent and bring back the other owners please
