The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South West

Very much enjoyed our late lunch here. Young staff and manager were very friendly and helpful. Extremely good value for money, reasonable prices and big portions. We actually quite like the unique interior it’s cosy!

The café had been recommended to us, with special regard to its proximity to Stithians Lake. Unfortunately, we feel the place doesn't quite live up to its billing. Not well signposted and perfunctory service (on enquiring about their sandwich selection we were just pointed towards a menu written up on a blackboard). In the end, my partner and I elected to just had pastries and an Americano coffee. The coffee was okay, but we've tasted better. A vegan breakfast is offered but where the sandwiches are concerned the selection is purely for carnivores. A pleasant enough visit but, sadly, not one we're likely to repeat.

We visited with family from France with dog who were looking forward to visiting for coffee and a light snack for lunch,we arrived on a dry bright Sunday lunch, although relatively busy, there were several tables empty, albeit full of dirty leftovers, when we pointed this out to the lovely girl behind d counter she promptly cleared table and wiped, from this point expectations fell away quickly, there was absolutely nothing to eat except carrot cake or muffins fresh or pre packed biscuits and flapjack ! We mentioned this to the counter staff who just said sorry were short staffed and low on food, there were 8 members of staff behind the counter ! Oh well, we ordered coffee which hit the spot first round fine, second round incorrect, then members of our party wished to visit the loo before leaving, a queue of several people waiting constantly to use 1 toilet that was disgustingly dirty from top to bottom ! All in all a poor experience of what some 18 months ago was a lovely place to visit, maybe it was just an Off day, but to have that many staff not doing a lot or cared a lot, not sure I would be in a hurry to revisit

15 minute wait for a mediocre cup of coffee served by a person who should not be customer facing. If I'd ordered food I'd probably still be waiting......

Seis de nosotros llamamos aquí después de caminar por el mercado de Navidad y decidimos tomar una taza de té / café y pasteles. El servicio era excelente y el ambiente de la cafetería en Waterstones era muy bueno. Todos nos relajamos y tuvimos una hora muy agradable calentando y disfrutando del ambiente. Los precios de las bebidas y pasteles son muy realistas y las dos señoritas que nos sirvieron fueron muy eficientes y amables. Gracias por nuestra breve visita el jueves 28 de noviembre. 👌😊🍵☕

Called in to grab something to eat before seeing a show at the local theatre. The place was heaving, a wedding party, and we assumed they wouldn't have a table available or the time..but we were seated at a table immediately, the food was delicious and the service excellent, even though they were so busy. Will definitely return. Thank you!

Probablemente no valga la pena visitarlo si no se encuentra en la zona, pero este encanto de los cafés definitivamente viene del hecho de que está situado en el cementerio atmosférico de Arnos Vale. Pastel y café a precios decentes - los pasteles eran bastante agradables (selección limitada para aquellos con intolerancias) el café era normal si eso. El personal era lo suficientemente amable, pero un poco distante en los puntos. Un buen descanso mientras visitaba el cementerio.

Tuve un batido encantador aquí hoy. El personal es amable y educado y con asientos cómodos. Precios o k. Iría de nuevo si alguna vez en Bristol.

Tuvimos un gran café aquí hace unos días. Café es mejor que Costa, Nero, etc OMI. Tuve un gran servicio del gerente James. Buena ubicación también con vistas al río Avon

Unfortunately we decided to order a cod and chips here yesterday evening. The batter was thick and burnt (25% black) after one mouth full that was enough, scraped it off and tried the fish and that was tasteless. So ate a few chips (fries) and threw most of it away. I wish I took a photo to post.

Had a tasty cod, chips and peas dinner at the Naval Volunteer Inn, Seavington St Michael on Saturday. I think it was both cooked and served by the landlady who was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a new beer (to me): a galss of Tornado from The Windy Brewing Company

Very bad not cooked omelette Supposed to be a tomato and cheese and mushroom Took one mouthful and spat it out 12 chips and salad was not presentable Very rubbery and not cooked properly and very disappointed!!! The waiter didn’t ask if all was okay Which clearly wasn’t as I left it !!!

…this place was the least busy so we popped in and really enjoyed the chocolate ice cream, which was cheaper than we were expecting: £3 a scoop. Friendly, quick service too.

Sat down had a flat white and cappuccino between us and was excellent quality coffee. We both had the breakfast and the eggs were bright orange and bacon was cooked perfectly. The tables were clean and staff seemed very quick to clean tables.

Ot disabled friendly, the heavy door opens out by a pull handle, having a walking aid and to try to pull a geavy door outwards with fubromyalgia was impossible. I was supposed to meet somoe and they sat upsatirs, no lift so i couldnt get upstairs. I didnt stay to have a drink
