The café had been recommended to us, with special regard to its proximity to Stithians Lake. Unfortunately, we feel the place doesn't quite live up to its billing. Not well signposted and perfunctory service (on enquiring about their sandwich selection we were just pointed towards a menu written up on a blackboard). In the end, my partner and I elected to just had pastries and an Americano coffee. The coffee was okay, but we've tasted better. A vegan breakfast is offered but where the sandwiches are concerned the selection is purely for carnivores. A pleasant enough visit but, sadly, not one we're likely to repeat.

Lovely cafe by the lake. We came here with our puppy for a coffee and sandwich. Both our sandwiches (breakfast Sanger and BLT) were really tasty. Shout out to the staff who were friendly and welcoming. We’ll be back soon!

It's a nice cafe with a great view and plenty to see going on, on the water. We had a couple of sandwiches and a drink each. The coffee was decent enough as was my sausage sandwich, although the sausage was slightly burnt! Good service and a nice place in general.

One Star due to 🅿️ Fiasco ! Entered Reg No on Cafe Tablet ( no proof of what entered ) and subsequently received Parking Fine by Parking Co . Stayed 40 mins & sign clearly states allowed one hour -------- Potential Customers BEWARE! Shame as Cafe is great ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Suggest Wild Vibes urgently investigate as recently similar arrangement at their Stithians Lake Cafe , where I have also visited .... Will I receive ANOTHER PCN ? --------------------- Shame if unreliable technology spoilt their businesses .....

I have worked in hospitality for a decade and I now own a café/restaurant, so please hear this not as a complaint, but as a bit of information that I’d wish to receive if what happened at Wild Vibes today happened to a customer at my place. Please also be aware that I have never left a bad review before in my life, but this is quite easily the worst service I have ever experienced, and I have experienced bad service plenty of times. The service my girlfriend and I recieved today (26/02/23) was unacceptable by any standards. The chap behind the counter of the kiosk was aggressively rude. So much so that I had to ask him if everything was ok, as if we had somehow made him extremely angry. To which he replied that he was just about to sit down and have his lunch and then we arrived, so he was very hangry, which I suppose to him justified his behaviour. I have been hangry at work, but the job isn’t to be hospitable when you aren't hungry. the job is to be hospitable. We were the only people in the queue and we were quite simply trying to get a bite to eat before we went on a walk around the reservoir. We decided to leave mainly because we were simply in shock by what had unfolded. I understand that it’s a tricky job being on service on your own, I promise that if the chap had said ‘sorry guys, im just grabbing a quick bite to eat - come back in a little while’ we’d have done just that. I’m leaving 5 stars because i don't believe 1 bad experience is worth damaging a business’ ratings permanently. But please know that this probably wouldn't be the case if I wasn’t in the industry.

We stopped here after a super walk for a coffee but decided to have lunch. Not cheap, but nowhere is these days. Had a very tasty bacon ciabatta, served by polite young man. No complaints. If you use the car park you need to register your number plate and buy something in the cafe.

Really disappointing, we have been here several times before as have disclosed my son's severe allergy each time, and everytime had been reassured and had no issues with the food at all. However when visiting Stithians last week we were told they can't cater for allergies anymore!

I entered the cafe where the staff member, all tattooed and with the man bun hair, just glanced at me and looked down at his coffee making or whatever.... I said I just want some menus.... He said I'm busy.... Then a friendly lady showed me where they were. This tattooed guy just had an awful attitude. Food was pricey for what it was. £9 for a signature sandwich. Not that impressed... Won't be back.

Decided to take a lovely walk around the lake. We arrived at the cafe at 14.30 only to be barked at by a girl that they are closed. On the door that it states its open untill 16.00. When we queried this with a polite young chap he explained they had been very busy, and had taken the decision to close early. That's absolutely fine just close your door, get your staff to be a little bit mire respectful.

£2.60 for a small cup of coffee and not even full. Definitely not good. Nice coffee but price, seriously expensive

The website doesn't reflect that the restaurant is being rebuilt and in its place is a takeaway kiosk. Poor selection of food

Came across this while out Walkington , a very welcome find on a windy October day. Excellent coffee - 'Can you do a decaff Cappuccino?` `Can I ever!`. The cake looked lush too though we didn't have any. Very friendly staff and a fantastic view from the outside seating srea; there' s also a small indoor seating area which only takes 6 at the moment due to Coronavirus restrictions. Will be going back.

We had drinks and a cake each. Can recommend both the peanut butter flapjack and cinnamon bun, and pretty sure everything else would be tasty too as it all looked delicious. We went a little later in the day, and the selection was becoming smaller, but fortunately bagged the 2 we fancied! The fab setting and really friendly and warm service made for a lovely visit. An unexpected and hidden gem!

This cafe is in a great location with good views - outdoor seating and delicious cakes but sadly let down by the size of their coffees We ordered ice latte and got tea cup size drinks !!!

Very pleasantly surprised to see the manager there. He gives good customer service, serves good coffee and great cakes. Benches available with some lovely views.

First time here and ordered the vegan breakfast. Absolutely delicious! Colourful, flavoursome and filling. Ordered vegan lemon and pistachio cake too which was also great. Something for gluten free eaters also. Recommend this place for sure!

So lucky to come across this place on trip advisor then so glad we chose to follow the directions to it. This cafe is tiny but perfect. 5 of us had different orders for breakfast and all was faultless. Lovely welcome and great service. Beautiful setting. We will be back! Thank you!

Tea and breakfast after a class at fittness wild next door. Best breakfast Ive had, fresh, looked nice, perfect size portion, healthy. The menu looked great for lunches, been back since for a coffee, my sister had a Asian style soup, she said it was amazing. Will be a regular for sure! 11 out of 10Staff very friendly and cafe dog and child friendly.

With excellent customer service and terrific food (plus they're very dog friendly), what's not to love about Wild Vibes Cafe?! Well worth stopping for a coffee and brunch sandwich.

We stopped off here this morning for breakfast with our Labrador Hetty. A cabin near to a reservoir serves fantastic coffee and a delicious breakfast. The staff are super friendly. It is indeed a beautiful spot with a circular walk around the reservoir, so that you can walk your breakfast off afterwards. I have it on good authority that the cinnamon buns are completely addictive though I haven’t tried one yet

After a 12 month avoidance of this place since our last experience, I decided to give it a try once again. Sadly things have not changed. Menu is still a mixed bag with odd combinations. I opted for the soup of the day today which was one of the cheapest options but still over £6 - tasted ok but really wasn’t anything special. My 3yr old daughter had the beans on toast which was served with tepid spicy bean sauce and was picked at until I gave in. My friend opted for the sausage sandwich - bread was tough (?not fresh) and sausages nothing to shout about. I’m pleased to report the coffee was good though!It’s really disappointing that this cafe is still pushing ahead with it’s odd, highly priced food offering as the surroundings are scenic.Sadly not an experience I will bother with again in a hurry.

This cafe has the loveliest staff, really good food (including vegan options), great for couples, families and dog friendly.

We love a good breakfast out and after exhausting Stones Bakery and the fabulous Potager we were recommended Wild Vibes by a friend. WELL!!! My vegan breakfast was amazing the paprika hummus was delicious and my husband's meat breakfast was delicious. Our coffee was hot but I think bigger cups would be welcome! Brilliant place we will be back soon xx

AMAZING 💕 loving it here... Great location with stunning views of the lake with beautiful walks. Inside and outside seating.... Car parking and toilets. Delicious food with daily offers on... Has a small park for the young ones and dogs 🐶 on leads x

Until this morning I’d only had coffee here and admired other people’s breakfasts, cakes etc from afar.... no more... the absolutely amazing beans (not your basic beans please note) on toast (I had sourdough) with dressed avocado and it was divine, even better than I could have expected! The sauce with the beans was beautifully tasty.The coffee is almost dreamy smooth - I had a decaf cappuccino with oat milk and was so impressed I had to have two Dogs are welcome inside and out too. It’s a perfect place to have lunch or breakfast or just coffee and cake as well as enjoy a great walk around Argal lake.

The Wild Vibes and it’s sister cafe Good vibes in Falmouth in my opinion do the best breakfast by far of anywhere in the area. My favourite is the full vegan but with egg , it’s just amazing. Staff are always lovely and great coffee

As we were staying at Mawnan we passed by these lakes most days so decided to go for a walk on the way back to the cottage one day. the café was a delight, plenty of parking, well presented and delicious coffee and cakes served in tidy surroundings with a view across the lake. The staff were friendly and helpful, certainly a surprise café ! Beware of runners if you walk across the dam nearby!!!

It was a cold and somewhat damp walk around the reservoir and the café was a welcome sight as we re-approached the carpark, we were hoping for a warm reception which we received.

The welcome couldn't be warmer, the food any prettier, or the taste anymore satisfying. The freshest ingredients served by what feels like friends in no time at all. Super dog friendly, even my energetic pup.

We went for a wee walk round the lake with our wee 3 year old and rewarded our efforts with a spot of lunch. I got the soup which was amazing and my better half got a meaty sandwich which he gobbled up merrily. Then we squeezed in some yummy cakes!

Wish I'd known about Wild Vibes Cafe sooner! The breakfasts are amazing.... such lovely flavours and good coffee too.

My partner and I visited Wild Vibes for a breakfast before our dog walk. The location is perfect and the views are beautiful. The staff are very friendly and we received a warm welcome and ordered our breakfast. Our only criticism would be that the breakfast (scrambled eggs on toast) was overly garnished. If you dont like extra herbs/leaves and pesto on your breakfast I think it would be best to ask for it plain. We will in future and this certainly wouldn’t stop us visiting again.

Met a friend at the cafe for a chat as it was equi distance between our homes. The setting on the edge of Argal lake is great and perfect for fishing or dog walking. The only downside are the parking fees. £2 for two hours or £4 all day is a bit steep.

Great spot and ideal for all ages to enjoy a lakeside coffee. Food however is quirky and after a few visits have come to the conclusion that despite the great location, the food is overly expensive. Almost £5 for eggs on toast - yes it was tasty, had drizzles of olive oil and presented with garnish but priced too high. Two coffees and two egg based sandwiches the best part of £20! Cake options are odd combinations and disappointing.

This is an ideal venue to come to, either before a walk around Argal Water Park, or afterwards, as it is situated to one side of the main car park.

Had a lovely stroll around the lake with our dog , it was great to also be allowed to take the dog into the cafe where we had an awesome breakfast, we’ll done to the staff

I came here with my Step Mum for a daily for a morning of personal training followed by a lovely a breakfast and coffee at the Wild Vibes cafe. The staff were so friendly and there was such a welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend!

I love this place, often walk around the reservoir and finish at Wild Vibes, always friendly staff, lovely outlook over the water from the outside tables. Great cup of tea and a good selection of cakes. Tried both the normal breakfast and the vegan, both very nice. I’ll be back

This cafe does not look much and it is not easy to find. Use sat nav eg google maps. But some of the outside tables have great views of the lake. The service was excellent. The coffee (iced Mocha) about the best I've had in Cornwall and the cinnamon bun was the best pastry I've had in Cornwall. The walk around the lake takes about an hour and is fine. The car park is pay and display and its best not to take the risk of not paying (£2 for 4 hours). The cafe is only open during the day. My daughter - who told us about it - recommended it for starting the day. People rave about it.

The lake is absolutely stunning, but what really makes this a wonderful find is the hugely surprising cafe. In a fairly small spot they produce amazing quality food. I did not expect the quality in a remote spot to be up there with some of the best cafes in London, but it really is. Service is super friendly and welcoming. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Went for a walk around the lake during a weekend escape to Cornwall and stumbled across this café. Quality of the food was incredible, totally unexpected. Would expect to find something like this in a busy city location - not in such a rural, picturesque, position. Signature sandwich was amazing and the carrot cake to die for. Utterly shocked by the quality of everything experienced - from the food and coffee to the service. Absolutely outstanding - cannot recommend highly enough. Go, go, go!!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Really small but the food is amazing and in a great location. Have been here for lunch and breakfast and all top quality food especially the breakfast. It's all really healthy and cooked to perfection, after you have scoffed your food you can head on a circular walk of argal lake. If you are visiting Cornwall and want a decent breakfast get yourself here.

Visited today with my daughter and husband. What fantastic food. I had the special and it was so tasty and well made. Great healthy food with gluten free and vegan options. There is a limited menu but as it should be as the quality is so high.

Stopped her for breakfast before the long drive home after a week in cornwall. So glad we did ! Great cooked breakfast...wish we had a place like this closer to home...

I went for a walk with a friend and we stumbled across this fantastic little cafe and we adored it! Gorgeous cuppa and friendly staff! I loved it so much that I'm going to take a stroll there now!

We visited this little cafe last week and what a lovely surprise. We all had breakfast , some had the full breakfast which was evidently delicious, I had the poached eggs on toasted sourdough bread . Beautifully cooked . We all had hot drinks , coffees and hot chocolates which were presented with clever barista decorations . A couple of our party weren’t able to resist the tempting cookies which they enjoyed too . There was ad-lib water available too , it was in a glass jar with mint and strawberries which I thought was a clever ( and tasty ) idea . I’d highly recommend a visit ( we will definitely return )
