TLDR: Be careful of what you buy from here as they will sell you a fake and tell you that they had mislabelled the product only after they are caught. I bought a Porcelain Set (Blue and White) that was falsely claimed as a real Coalport. I went into the store while visiting the town and saw a porcelain set which was tagged as a "Coalport" set. I asked the staff member at the front desk if this was actually real, which he responded with yes. I even asked how he knows it is real and he said that there is a staff member who verifies the authenticity of the porcelain sets. Since the store was already closing and I trusted his response, I went ahead and bought the set. When I went home, I went to inspect each of the pieces individually against information I found on the internet about what real Coalport sets are like and to my dismay, the pieces sold to me are counterfeits. The plates all had the same defects and the markings under the plates did not resemble any of the possible Coalport markings. I called to ask about the set that I bought and was told that the store had "accidentally" put the wrong tag on the set, which is why the set was falsely labelled as a Coalport. That person said they would give me a refund but I don't live in the town. It is unjust to expect me to spend another 40 pounds for a train ticket to go to the store to get a refund when I was sold a counterfeit, unknowingly.

After owing thousands of pounds in rent to my very patient dad who gave him multiple chances, the owner of Riverside Cafe Ilminster, Ethan Parker was rightly asked to leave the premises. This is how he left the building, still owing thousands. He’s moving his “business” to Axminster very soon under a new name. If you happen to be a landlord in that area then do be aware. Do not trust this extremely immature boy.

Very, very disappointed. First time giving them a try for breakfast. Service was very very slow and no apology given (it wasn't even busy!!) and when it arrived wasn't v hot, and poor quality. Asked for bacon and sausages to be "well done" but mine came out the same as my friends orders. Was expensive considering the quality of the food and service. Tables were slow to be cleared. Staff weren't at all engaging. Would not visit again.

We ate here for lunch back in October. We had a ham, cheese and tomato panini, a ham sandwich and a tuna sandwich with a chocolate milkshake followed by a mint sundae and an orange sundae. It was all fine. The service was a bit slow. I also purchased a couple of items from the candy bar, which unfortunately turned out to be very out of date and inedible.

A visit to the Boatyard Cafe & Bakery on Exeter Quay is a unique experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and not only can you enjoy some beautifully prepared and presented food, you can also glimpse the bakers at work preparing the special bread and other goodies they have available. The staff are welcoming and dedicated, which is why it is so popular, with a huge turnover of customers for breakfasts, lunches and all the goodies from the bakery. If you haven't yet given it a try, do pop down to the Quay along Haven Road, and drop in to the Boatyard experience asap. You won't be disappointed I promise!

Oh my where do I begin! I would avoid this place at all costs! Guy behind the bar was rude not very welcoming at all.. the beer dribbled out the pumps .. coke from a can which was warm no ice.. seating uncomfortable, dust everywhere, we waited 30 mins for our food for it to be overcooked.. and a couple who arrived after us got their food before us.. there was people on another table who didn't finish their food and couldn't leave the pub quick enough either .. says it all ...

For my lunch I selected "Lamb Scrumpets" - an amazing dish of tender chargrilled lamb coated in crispy breadcrumbs and served with a leek ash aioli and a slaw of apple, cabbage and goats cheese. Quite unlike anything I have eaten before, and very delicious. This, accompanied by a very good cappuccino. The service was excellent, surroundings charmingly rustic and the price fair for a delicious light lunch. Afterwards I just had to raid the excellent cheese room and carried off some fabulous Gorgonzola and Comte. Well worth a visit.
