Had a lovely lunch here today. Lovely large portions and big pots of tea. Well presented and tasty. Great value for money and manager was really nice and friendly. Would highly recommend.

What a fabulous cafe this is. Ordered their standard breakfast, £7.99. Bacon, egg, sausage, fried bread, mushroom, beans, tomatoes, hash brown and toast with butter. So much food and all cooked to perfection and you could tell the produce was of very good quality. Presentation was superb and the perfect temperature. The owner is such a friendly chap. Was surprised how big it is inside, with upstairs seating as well. There is something for everyone on the menu. Dog friendly too. So if you are in Dorchester and fancy a bite to eat, a hot drink and a warm welcome then this is the place to go, you wont be disappointed.

I had a flat white coffee and it was just right; my husband’s latte tasted of coffee and not just hot milk (as many do) The breakfasts are lovely as well

Outwardly nice location, car park very small and space taken up by an indian take away van!? Spacious, characterful main bar area inside. Staff rather frosty. Waited ages for meals to arrive. Pleased to say we all enjoyed our meals when they did arrive. Nice triple cooked chips. I enjoyed my Thai red curry.

Called in at Costa this morning 20 minutes before my train was due. One very harassed looking you man was behind the counter and 13 people in the queue. Suffice to say, I didn't get my coffee this morning ☹️

We stayed nearby and walked up the lane to the pub hoping for an evening meal, but it was all closed up and the garden was overgrown. Possibly it’s fallen victim to the lockdown? (The last review was February 2020.) It didn’t seem as if anyone was at home. A great shame for such an ancient establishment if it has gone to the wall. 😢

Fantastic experience! We recently held our wedding at The Bull Hotel and I cannot speak more highly of the venue and the staff. From the moment we first viewed the venue (The Hayloft) we knew it was perfect for us. Kerry and the team went absolutely above and beyond, and made us feel so at ease and so welcomed every step of the way. The food is delicious, both for their event catering as well as their breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. The rooms are also comfortable and spacious. I cannot thank the whole team for such a fantastic experience. We can't wait to come back to visit again soon.

Gorgeous pastries and lovely coffee. Great decor too. An excellent addition to the town centre. Loyalty scheme available for coffee purchases. Their toasted ham and cheese on sourdough is amazing and their freshly made sandwiches are excellent. One of my favourite cakes is their Bakewell. Yum!
