Ria went above and beyond today to make us feel valued customers and made sure we had everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy the foods we bought. The selection of pastries, cakes we tried today are the best we have had from a bakery. Thankyou

Overpriced for what you get is the phrase that comes to mind . No atmosphere and cold interior . Two very average sandwiches and a cup of coffee..£17 .. which I thought was ridiculous. Plenty of better places to go in beautiful Sherborne .

Gorgeous pastries and lovely coffee. Great decor too. An excellent addition to the town centre. Loyalty scheme available for coffee purchases. Their toasted ham and cheese on sourdough is amazing and their freshly made sandwiches are excellent. One of my favourite cakes is their Bakewell. Yum!

£11.70 for a toasted sandwich and a latte. The coffee cup hadn't been warmed, so the coffee was luke warm. The toastie had, to my taste, too much cranberry in it, it was oozing through the bubbles in the sourdough. There was more cranberry than brie.... The table was dirty, in fact all the empty tables were. I asked the waitress to clean it, then I had to ask her to give me the cloth. She hadn't got all the crumbs off the table. There were crumbs and water on the tray as well. I didn't order tea, but I saw that customers were given a tea bag and a teapot of warm water. It's really not very professional.

Absolutely awful experience…. No signs up the window to say no dogs aloud so me and my husband went in and sat down with our cocker spaniel, was sat down for about 10 mins and no one said anything about no dogs. I was at the till ordering our food and drinks and was just about to pay when a bolshy staff member comes yelling over to the person taking our orders “ NO THEY HAVE A DOG WE DONT ALLOW DOGS!! Waving her arms around and really being dramatic about it. The lady serving me was apologetic but I have NEVER felt so embarrassed and never have I been made to feel in a cafe/Restaurant that I was a criminal, everyone in there eating/drinking was staring at me because of the attention drawn to us by the staff member shouting at us and waving her arms around. Never again, ever if I didn’t have my dog would I set foot in this awful place, walk further up the hill and you will find a lot more welcoming cafes. Disgusting!!

Is this shop dog friendly or not? Our well-behaved dog who also acts as a therapy dog in a children's hospital was allowed in with us during one visit but was not allowed in during our last visit. There are no signs confirming that dogs are or are not allowed (the same applies in their Salisbury shop). They failed to reply to my email on the subject. Reeve the Baker -totally inconsistent and unsatisfactory approach. If you have a dog, ask first to avoid having to leave once you're seated with your dog. Other and better dog-friendly cafes are available in Sherborne.

Reeve is an amazing bakery! All the food there is delicious, once you’ve been I’m sure you’ll be back again soon. The pastries are cooked absolutely perfectly and taste so amazing. I honestly find myself eating one in the bakery and taking one home for later. Their giant doughnuts ,might look like novelty, but they’re light and fluffy and better than most doughnuts I’ve eaten. If you’re planning on coming down, be warned there’s probably going to be queue and the sitting area is going to be busy. In my experience this lead to some slow service, bringing our food over, but with products this good it’s to be expected.

Having had lunch here during various previous visits to Sherborne, the last with our rescue dog Brian, we were most surprised to be told that dogs (other than presumably guide dogs and assistance dogs) are not allowed in the shop. My partner and Brian were at a table close to the toilet, the furthest point from the serving counter. One of the assistants during our previous visit had been delighted to see Brian. Annoyingly, I couldn't see a sign telling us that dogs are not welcome. In future, we will visit dog-friendly establishments for lunch in Sherborne, Brian having had another successful visit to the Bristol Children's Hospital as a therapy dog the previous Thursday where he was made to feel most welcome by the staff and the patients and their families.

We went here for 2 cups of tea & 1 toasted teacake to eat in. The tea was £2.65 each and the teacake was £3.75 and wasn't worth it at all. The restaurant was cold and the windows are very draughty, the interior is nothing special and the toilet area was freezing cold. Not the warm up stop we required!

I come here occasionally for a bite to eat and a coffee if I’m shopping in the town, I enjoy the variety of sandwiches, cakes and bakes and the coffee is nice. I always get a warm welcome from the friendly staff, unless I am served by the manager. Unfortunately, I can’t help noticing this each time I go in when she is there, she looks miserable and an attitude as though she doesn’t want to be there at all. I feel as though the other members of staff are on tender hooks. But it’s definitely more of a relaxed atmosphere on the other days. All in all a lovely bakery that I can’t fault, just the manager needs to work on her smile.

We stayed nearby and walked up the lane to the pub hoping for an evening meal, but it was all closed up and the garden was overgrown. Possibly it’s fallen victim to the lockdown? (The last review was February 2020.) It didn’t seem as if anyone was at home. A great shame for such an ancient establishment if it has gone to the wall. 😢
