Great Costa, clean, tidy and friendly staff.

OK Costa but don't expect to have a relaxing drink as the main batista is so loud. Even his talking voice is grating and there's nowhere to hide as he bellows constantly. Sorry but spoilt my morning coffee.

Understaffed so slow service..such a shame as one of the better costas

There’s a male member of staff who thinks he’s some sort of comedian and wants the whole store to hear him giving a running commentary. Unfortunately he’s not that smart and ends up screwing up drinks orders. If he calmed down and concentrated on his job he might be useful.

I had the most amazing white chocolate and strawberry hot milkshake ever!!! Because I really love the strawberry flavor, the amazing kick in it, the server was quite kind, friendly, and very supportive.

Really nice spot, warm welcome and great service.

Not impressed today. 3 members of staff behind the full and took them over 5 minutes to even acknowledge I was there Then when I said to one of them "you should acknowledge customers even if you are busy" never even got an apology. There are 3 customers sat down and 6 tables need clearing. I darent tell them my coffee is only like warm

We come here semi-regularly, and was recently served by a barista by the name of Nathan and they are quite literal ray of sunshine and put me in a lovely mood. It's close to dorchester south so always pop in for a drink and snack before our train. Highly recommend

Queues are either too long or service is super slow. Today they didn't have the drink I was after, in a heatwave with a one year old. A sign saying sold out would have been appreciated to avoid a long disappointing wait.

only had pint in garden as they hadnt checked msg for a table booking. walked to Antelope inn instead.

Costa is normally my go-to for a high street coffee as it's predictable and familiar to me. This particular one has the normal high standard of food. No fault to the staff, but often slow as can be busy, as it's by the train station. Not one I would sit in either, but often get takeaway to and from town if waking past

For a sit down Costa, it was a shocking experience. Tolets out of order. Seats are packed away. Staff were not the polightest! Coffee ☕️ was not good, and hot sandwiches were below par! Worse Costa I have ever been to in the UK!

The train was delayed by 40 minutes so went in this Costa by Dorchester South station for a coffee but couldn't sit down as the chairs & tables were blocked off and the man at the counter said cant sit in this time of day, was only 3:45pm so Costa lost a sale as staff getting ready to go home long before the Costa coffee store shut, can't rely on Costa to be open in Dorchester, coffee Nero in Dorchester don't pack their chairs & tables away untill they shut, brewery square Costa very poorly run

Quite busy,an extra member of staff required?

Might be helpful if the hours on the website were accurate. Actually opens 45 minutes later than advertised, you would think they would want to make the most of the commuter trade as it's directly next to the train station.

Only 2 staff mid morning and they were fairly slow (pleasant though). The gingerbread latte came, with no gingerbread syrup, so was just a latte with cream ontop didn't taste very nice. Would have returned but queues were too big. My friend had a bacon roll but the bacon dropped out before being put on the grill and it was just dumped back in. Not very appealing. For the cost it was disappointing. On a brighter note the cake selection looked amazing and it was clean.

The poor staff here get my 5 stars. Only three of them trying to fulfill all shop customers orders yet Costa has installed one of those awful internet tickers for people too damn lazy to get off their backsides to get a coffee. The poor staff have to deal with a busy site next to a train station versus waiting delivery couriers vs keeping the place clean. Come on Costa - the shop customer MUST take priority and fulfillment for lazy internet users must be seperate. You will drive your staff into the wall as they get negativity from shop customers when trying to fulfill web orders. I was next in line to place my order yet the poor barista had to prepare FOUR iced frappes for a web order. Not good if you are due to catch a train. Costa - you need to sort this.

Fantastic Staff when it was short of staff

Haven't been here for a couple of years. Service has really gone down. They close at 3pm and low staff. Rubbish was over every table so nowhere to sit down. Not staff fault. Management need to invest more into it.

I'm not a massive Costa fan as there coffer is bland. However, as I don't know Dorchester too well and I was about to go on a long train journey, i went in. The guy making the coffee couldn't be any lazier if he tried. He just lent against the furniture and was slow. The young colleague said 'you're so slow, you're like a snail'. He hadn't made a latte right and it tasted horrid; undrinkable Honestly, go elsewhere and support a local business. This place has issues.

I live right next to this Costa and they seem to shut early most days. Its Sunday and the closing time is 4pm, have just gone down to them to find they have just shut and locked the doors on a few people to start cleaning up at 3:20! Happens during the week alot also

It was ok, but not as good as Costa usually is. The staff weren’t really interested and the toilet was really gross. However being a Costa out drinks were still exactly the same as every other Costa, which is what we really went for.

The worst costa coffee I had gone too. DONT GO. My order was wrong and so was my family member as well. And the toilets are terrible. Go else where for a drink. Never been to a worst costa in my life

Possibly the worst coffee shop I've ever been in. Gave it a second chance today after a terrible first experience but it was appalling again. Stale food served by clueless staff, bucket sized cups of weak coffee, zero customer service skills. Simply awful.

Please can you sort out your opening times? On multiple times I have arrived for coffee and something to eat, to find not open at time expected. Opening times online show 6.30, but arrived to find it is 8 oclock!!!! Please sort it out.

Really nice staff but the new opening hours are laughable. 8am opening when most people at that time of the morning are getting on a 7.07 or 8.07 train is just crazy. The franchisee must be losing a ton of money from commuter custom, too. Sort it out!

Useless opening hours here, what coffee shop closes at 17.00 ?? Very annoying if your catching a train opposite and no coffee. Costa used to be better than the rest but now it seems to be the opposite :-((((

Could have been cleaner, difficult to move around because of furniture layout, and prices just ridiculous for what you get.

after ordering clearly to the female barista she then proceeded to not once but twice make me a drink with regular milk as a pose to soya milk, after explaining i had a severe lactose intolerance. she then was unfriendly and was quite rude towards me. i don’t usually write a bad review but felt in this case that my safety was at risk and that it was extremely rude. she also got my friends order wrong, and failed to make my drink decaf also.

Coffee was good, no gluten free food though, no mask wearing by customers while I was in there. I wore mine though.

Have been going to this costa for a long time but unfortunately the standard of the coffee has plummeted, today I had a flat white which was more like a cup of milk!!!! these coffee shops are only as good as the staff that make the coffee, unfortunately time and time again it’s poor get a grip Costa

Good coffee but have to take a few stars off for the guy that gave us the coffee Rory as he smacked the cups down rudely and went "there you go" and just turned his back on us. No explanation of what drinks were given or polite thank you/good bye.

Closing time but just nipped in before barista shut down. It's your classic Costa, steam steam gurgle gurgle whoosh chocolate on top? Yes please. Type of place. Inadvertently top a circuitous route to find it from the carpark over the main road..... Go right NOT left passed the cinema..... Save yourself the walk, and get a Danish as a reward for not hiking the Dorchester trail to get to it. Funny manager and support crew, oh nice coffee as always.

Coffee was bitter, so left half, sorry. Also did not find waste bin outside to put rubbish.

The staff were very friendly but my cooler wasn't really blended much to the point where it was just chunks of ice with the syrup. It wasn't busy so its a little sad but not the end of the world.

Ideal location from and to Dorchester South Train Station being approx 100 yards away from Station Exit. As with most Costa Coffee Shops the Drinks were Refreshing, and as you would expect.

Okay. Rather slow and fraught service

I’d forgotten about the Government subsidy so was delighted to pay £2.36 for 2(!) flat whites on a Monday morning. It end next Monday. Enjoy while you can. Great coffee here lovingly prepared

Rather rude member of staff upon entering. We did apologise for using the wrong entrance, but your signage needs to be clearer. Other staff were much more friendly.

Pleasant service. One vegan savoury item available (ham & cheese toastie) and two vegan sweets, a cookie and the Rocky Road I bought, which was very good. The toastie was served hot and melty.

Lovey place to go. I come so much as the staff are so nice to me and everyone else who come!I 100% recommend♥️♥️♥️
