The food was fantastic I’ve never had pub food this delicious very pub I’ve been to they just slap the food on the place you can definitely tell they put effort in the food they send out 10/10 would come again highly recommend this place

Came in to try the food after our gym session. Extremely pleasantly surprised to discover that the food here is so so good. Definitely recommend, so tasty!!

This is a drinking pub that is trying to go up market. The food was good, 3 out of 4 of us thought the food was good. Service could have been better. The atmosphere is get of a drinking pub. The small of the toilets hits you as you go through the first door from the bar the gents toilets floor was very wet with urine with loo roll sitting in the wet. There does not appear to be a schedule of checking. Very disappointing.

We wanted to try our local , so booked a table of seven people for a 50th birthday meal, for 7.30pm, first impressions loads of bored kids watching their parents drinking , went to the bar first food order didn't have anything we wanted sold out , went back to table had another look at the menu, second time ordering didn't have half of second choice , although the chef joked we have loads of cheesecake,7.30 on a Friday night seems a bit early to have sold out of everything , we settled for what they had looking forward to said cheesecake, guess what 9pm sorry you can't have desert kitchen is closed , really think this is more of a drinkers pub rather than dining , what we did have was mostly good, although they had also run out of steak sauce , would go for a drink but sadly not to eat .

Stupid bar woman wouldn’t let me use the restroom even though I showed my ID and offered to buy a drink yet still would not let me in I’ve fully been discriminated against because of my ethnicity. This is very unacceptable my white friends were allowed in and buy drinks but not me what the hell is all that about?

I have to say one of the best roasts I've had in a long time. All freshly cooked. And well presented. Incredible food. And the side of cauliflower cheese wow. Deserts fantastic Definately recommended a visit

The most well organised place we have been during our stay in Weston-super-Mare. Drinks arrived quickly , friendly service . The food was tasty , hot and of a high quality

We visited Simon at the Borough Arms last night ( booked a table ) and were welcomed by a safe and friendly pub which we have often frequented in the past. If any place deserves a bit of success it’s this pub , Simon is very friendly and made us feel extremely safe ,well done everyone concerned with the Borough Arms , we would recommend a visit just to see the wonderful flower arrangements inside .

Popped in for the burgers! We were not disappointed. Very welcoming and relaxing, we will be regulars from now on!

Just had a Friday night at this pub food was very good and no complaints and friendly staff. The only thing we would say is seating is uncomfortable we would have stayed longer and would have drunk more but we couldn’t get comfortable and yes you have to accept sports TV is played so not everyone’s cup of tea but did bother us. One other thing Prosecco is I well over piece for a pub at £24 need to be reduced.

Had a pub lunch and we shared a selection of starters. All were great and good size portions. Nice selection of booze and a good refurb. Dog friendly too which is a massive bonus.

Always had a good meal, helpful staff, nice atmosphere, Sunday lunch good portions. Have been several times.

Visited an old retired colleague and he suggested we lunch, booze and reminisce the afternoon away in The Borough as it had real ale and food. However, it was all a little underwhelming. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the food (Cod and chips for me, Ham, eggs, chips for him) it was just that both meals were a little lacking in taste and not as good as expected from the "locally sourced" label. Chips too were sort of mid-range. Not chunky crispy triple cooked, not soggy, just softish, but definitely OKish. All edible though, we sent nothing back, nothing to complain about, it just tasted, well, average. In fact if you like bland food, it's right up your street. As for the beers, we were first recommended a local guest ale which seemed a bit musty and sour, but again not poor enough to return and we supped it without any detrimental effects. Then we had, and stayed all afternoon on pints Bath Ales Gem. Much better than the first pint, and a decent, acceptable pint, but not one in great condition that would light up your tastebuds with a "wow, this is the business" comment. The place wasn't full, but then again it was an afternoon session, and atmosphere was OK. The bar staff were competent. So really, nothing to put you off going as its a pleasant pub, the food is all right without being outstanding, the beers are OK without being exceptional in choice or condition, and service is acceptable too. But it's all, just a bit, well, average. Hence the average mark.

Apparently the borough do loyalty cards however this is only offered to the certain few. Unhappy that this is neither advertised nor mentioned to anyone apart from the select few

Popped in for something to eat on the way past. Was delighted to see what was once a tired old pub had been completely gutted and is thriving once again.Beer was great, fish and chips were delicious and the staff were really nice and friendly. Great to see this place buzzing with locals again !!!

Well what a revival this place is having. Would certainly recommend. Friendly and attentive staff. Good variety of food catering for all dietary requirements. Great selection of real ales and the bar is well stocked with anything you want. Would recommend a visit to anyone any age, families, couples business etc. Go check it out.

This place is under new management and has recently been refurbished. They have done a great job. Staff are friendly and helpful. Had Sunday lunch and it was great. Very tasty plentiful and hot when served. Will be coming back

Really wanted to try this pub since the refurbishment. It was fairly busy and it took a while to get served as there was only one bar staff. The menu was varied but slightly overpriced for what is basically pub food which you ordered at the bar and paid for on ordering. The food was good, tasty, well cooked and well presented in reasonable portions. The wine was vastly overpriced at £5.50 for 175ml of Shiraz which in similar pubs in the area is £3.75.

I was really looking foreward to reviewing this place since it's been newly refurbished. Went a group on 7 for Sunday lunch. It looked very nice and friendly welcoming staff however my fish had no seasoning at all. I kept putting vinegar and salt to try to improve it. The cikd Heineken was the only thing that made it eatable. Such a shame. I like writing good reviews. Other plates were lamb shank, pork roast ( green veggies missing) and kids menus ( fish goujons and chicken nuggets) pretty boring menu and lack of staff ( cup of tea took over 20 min to arrive) not to say we didn't leave a tip not be coming back. Such a shame...

went in on New years eve and there was no live band or anything no christmas decorations and it was boring.

Lovely roast beef, huge, and really tasty. We will be returning. Highly recommended. Friendly staff and newly refurbished.

We went along to the opening night, having been invited by the new owner.

I had a great welcome food was superb and the staff extremely friendly. Our dog was also made extremely welcome with water and treats. Would happily welcome this pub to anyone.

Visited with family including 2 young children, food was really lovely and staff were really friendly.

We went out for dinner last night ,and tried this local ,which is under new managment.While the place is clean,scenic,and the service is good the food was rather bland.I had a pasta dish which the cheese was over cooked,and my wife apparently recieved instant potatos.Again the price was ok,and the service friendly and good pity about the food.

This pub is just ...vanilla . A large pub on a main road that has seen better days . Whole place probably needs a bit of an upgrade and a revamp ...just very average . To its credit though it does allow dogs .

The place is situated on a crossroads it sports a large car park on level ground,It is an old type of pub a large vast place once on the main road into weston before the motorway was built however inside is old style but warm and clean with an open fire ,plenty of seating on the level it also has a stage for local groups to perform ,it was quite at time of visit but it was xmas eve afternoon ,at time of visit the gents toilet was old but clean well lit and warm ,

Recientemente celebró la "recepción" de boda aquí y nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos. Moteros con mucho espacio para aparcar. Es al final de nuestro camino, para poder ver lo lleno que está cada día... y el coche es normalmente bastante completa a mediados de semana. Deben estar haciendo algo bien. Un buffet muy bueno para nosotros, con mucho para elegir. Nos dejaron manos libres con los planes para nuestra ley de Elvis y el karaoke tributo. Hacía haber sido más servicial x

The food is excellent, great homecooked roasts andplenty of it, nice atmosphere with friendly staff.the meals are served hot and always offer more gravy which is lovely plus plenty of meat with sunday roasts

A family run pub and friendly which serves up brilliant sunday roast dinners its a must to go and try

Ottimo cibo fatto in casa, buon pesce e ottima birra. Prezzo per un pasto complete sui 20£ a testa. Good
