Not overly large place so booking is advisable. Having said that, 4 of us turned up without a reservation having had some difficulty in booking a table ? However, the lovely guy at the desk shuffled things around and got us a table. What a great experience ! Chicken, beef, lamb dishes were amazing! Rice, noodles, potatoes, salad, pasta, fish, calamari, chocolate cake, chocolate fountain, gatuea, whippy ice-cream, array of fresh fruit etc etc ... So many choices! We were VERY impressed and have already booked a return visit ! Staff are helpful and polite and kept very busy ! We thought it was good value for money. £13 for children. £20 for adults ...evening price . I think a little cheaper on a lunch time ? All in all a very good experience.

I came here today on my own and had a lovely ice cream and strong black coffee! Seating is provided outside and inside. As the sun was shining I sat outside. I noticed that this place has had a change of name. I've tried to post on here under the new name (Good and Proper) without success. Anyway, it's a very nice little cafe and deserves to do well, right in the middle of the shopping etc. A couple of years ago we had a poetry night here, and I hope that in time these events will start to take place once more. Very atmospheric in the evenings.

We often come here for refreshments on our way home after shopping. It's always extremely welcoming and we can sit either inside or outside according to the weather. We love the tea and chocolate cake, or Rocky Road, so yummy! I would add that the toilets are now much improved in the freshness department. There are very nice, friendly waitresses in attendance and sometimes a cute dog named Honey!

Ordered two coffees, only one other couple there. We waited ages so I asked about the order and she had forgotten all about it. The waitress was full of apologies, the coffee was good so all forgotten!

I popped in for breakfast while I was waiting for the car's MOT to be carried out. I chose Coco's purely because it was near the garage, and as I approached I thought I'd struggle to find many veggie options. I was expecting an old school greasy spoon (not that there's anything wrong with that). That's not Coco's, though! They do offer traditional full English, but there's loads of vegetarian and vegan food available. There's also a wide range of Barista-style coffees, with choices of lacto-free milk. The rooms are light and airy, and everything is clean and well-decorated. I went for poached eggs on toast and a fresh black coffee, which seems a bit of a waste in hindsight, given the array of options I could have chosen. It was what I was in the mood for, though, and I really enjoyed my breakfast. The lady who served me was cheerful and friendly. I'll definitely go again. It's sort of like a hipster cafe, but with none of the pretension. Excellent!

We visited for lunch today. There were many options on the vegan menu. We chose the sweet potato bean burger and the bbq smoked jackfruit burger, which were freshly cooked and delicious. Soya lattes were good too. Friendly staff and we enjoyed our visit.

My girlfriend and I popped into Coco’s Canteen today when visiting Weston Super Mare after seeing all of the vegan options that were available. There is a great variety of vegan meals and all of which are very reasonably priced. I had the vegan breakfast and my girlfriend had a jacket potato with BBQ pulled jackfruit, vegan cheese and avocado - both were delicious! We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

Wanted a quiet coffee & abit of brunch as we were off work, live in Weston, never been in, walked in, cafe empty, staff very nice, but all you could hear was the owners scratchy voice echoing around the cafe, & her daughters voice too, dog walking around, not a problem but would prefer it on a lead,

We came in here on our way home and had deliciously refreshing tea and chocolate cake (naughty but nice). The place was decorated for Halloween, so I took some photos. The staff are always very jolly. One thing I would mention is that the toilet is a bit unfresh and needs attention in that respect. Otherwise, this is a lovely cafe right in the middle of the shopping area of Weston with inside and outside seating.

Came here for a vegan lunch as had been raves about in a local vegan site. Wanted the Jackfruit Burger - didn’t have any. Wanted sweet potato fries - they didn’t have any. Decided on Tofu in focaccia - came on Granary - my friend had the “chicken” pieces and avocado. Both were dry and tasteless. They also had no almond / soya milk.

I knew this place when it was Coco Brown's where I once did a poetry gig, but now it's Coco's Canteen! Very nice refurbishment with plenty of seating both inside and outside. The decor has been improved, too. The lovely baristress advised us that many plans are afoot for various activities including yoga sessions. But that aside, the tea and snacks are very good indeed and not expensive. The outside seating is right in the midst of town, in the "carrot" square, so it's good for watching the passing parade! Would highly recommend!

The pub itself is ok but be really careful if you park in the car park next to it. I didn't see the sign that I had to get a parking permit from the bar. Perhaps it would have been an idea if the bar staff had checked if I'd parked outside? Two drinks ended up costing me £70 once Civil Enforcement had done their worst.

A large area in Waterstones is occupied by this cafe. Lovely coffee and very good selection of cakes and snacks, counter service but very helpful with older customers. Great friendly staff and moderate prices - very popular with the locals.

Had a large group of 17 friends pre booked in for our Christmas party yesterday, the food choices were placed and deposits taken well in advance. One person had a starter which came out over 3/4 and hour before any of the main meals arrived. The main meals were good on the whole , but the chicken tikka masala didn't taste right (and for this reason) it wasn't eaten, it should have had cream or yoghurt in the sauce, but neither of them appeared to be present. My Mediterranean salad was mostly lettuce and had no olives or feta which are commonly used in this dish, also my tequila tiger prawns were a small portion considering the price, another of our group had a Waldorf salad which was not very large considering it was a main meal on the menu. One of our party asked if we could have some music and was told they couldn't do that, but the TVs were on and showing football, even though we didn't want to watch them, and nobody other than our group, were sat in the area.

Great coffee shop in a great location looking out on the marina, on a nice day it can get very busy! As with all Costa, it's quite expensive but you do get decent food and drink. The lemon drizzle cake is amazing! Nice that you can get a free drink every now and then if you use the Costa app to collect points.
