Fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our chips from here, we have been recommended to try this place by friends after moving here a year ago, and we were thoroughly impressed. It’s a busy little place, great for the village. Wish they opened more but grateful that they do! Delicious.

I used to live in Evercreech and love the chips from here. Probably the best I've tasted and the range of foods you can can get, well there's something for everyone.

Great friendly service and food

Wow, first and last time. I only got chips, and i didn't think you could really go wrong with that, but i was wrong. The chips looked like they had been cooking since last week, dark brown, and tasted like they'd been dragged from the sewer. If it's the voice of eating here, or going hungry, I'd take the latter option

Lovely little chippy, lots on the menu to choose from, I had homemade fish cake and chips and it was delicious!

When we visited they were still operating the doorway serving hatch and, although you can still order over the phone, they were also taking orders at the door now too. Great food, large portions. What's not to like?

Me spam fritter pea fritter and chips absolutely stunning the best pea fritter I had for a long time. He had minced beef and onions pie and chips absolutely stunning very full of meat and veg favour dancing on tongue. Chips very nice crisp but soft centred. Will definitely recommend.

There are several excellent fish and chip shops in the area and it's difficult to say which is best really. But if you are in Evercreech then I can recommend the Evercreech Plaice. Top quality food and does more than just fish and chips.

Always good food from this place

Proper chips! Cut properly and cooked to perfection. The right amount of salt and vinegar as well. Had some curry sauce with mine, scrummy. Have recently moved locally so will be visiting again and will try some of the other things on the menu.

We were staying in the area and had fish and chips on a busy Saturday evening, the little place was so busy. This fish was excellent and we so enjoyed them that we returned on our last night. Maybe next time I will try a homemade curry as they also do several Indian and Chinese options.Great place.

Offers traditional fish, sausage etc with chips. Very nice. Cooked from fresh. Appears very clean. Perfect little fish & chip shop. Only criticism is a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for!

Traditional Fish 'n' Chip, as we love it and with friendly service and good prices. Have been going here for the last five years. Not as much as we would like as it is a bit of a trek.

This fish and chip shop is not your ordinary fish and chip shop. The shop is ran by a wonderful and friendly family and that really adds to the experience. Also its better than going into one of the pubs because its a shorter wait and the food is better, in fact way better. I will keep visiting this fish and chip shop until I leave Evercreech. Amazing.

very busy little fish & chip shop, selling all you could wish for. You will be hard pushed to find anything better. you may have to wait a little but it's well worth the wait.

This business is so good that people travel miles for the food, it is run by an ex army chief and his wife and the food is second to none, it is a takeaway but the food is restaurant quality so whether your preference is for kebab, curry or fish and chips it is well worth visiting. The Bath and West Showground is just down the road so when visiting just detour into Evercreech for good food without getting ripped off.

Good quality, but you have to wait

Fish and chips for four of us last evening. Just perfect. Wonderful fish so white and no skin under the batter. Very reliable quality.

Good portions great flavour you won't be disappointed. The fish has been de-skinned before batter added. Not always the case in this neck of the woods.

Always freshly cooked to order food - generous portions, tasty fish and a good menu for small premises. Friendly and helpful family run business. Telephone orders taken too.

Very popular so allow time as you have to wait to be served. Its worth it though as the portions are substantial and delicious.

You generally have to wait a while so best to phone earlier with your order but it'll be worth it because all their food is delicious.

This may be the only take away in Evercreech, but that doesn't stop it being superb. Specialising in fish & chips, but worth a really wide range of other foods, you won't be disappointed. Keep an eye on the part-time hours though.

Looking for a good fresh cooked alternative to cooking then this is the place to go. All the standards you would expect and a good choice of other dishes as well. phone orders also taken to avoid the wait. Excellent.

Just call out what you want as you go through the door and your fish will be cooked to order in about 15 minutes. A good local fish and chip shop. Beware, not open on Sundays, Mondays or Tuesdays. Can get very busy at evening mealtime so to avoid the queue order in advance by phone.

The food is excellent and nice staff, I do a lot of driving an I have never found better fish and chips - the fish cakes are huge :)

It's very good. Service is lovely. Newspaper to read while you wait. Limited opening hours. To be a five star I would like the fish to be 'thicker', not necessarily bigger but chunkier pieces of fish.Still prefer Whitstones - though they are something exceptional.

This is a gem of a chip shop hidden away in Evercreech. Further up from the group of shops its a real find.A family run business for over 15 years food is cooked fresh to order and to your taste where possible. Well worth the wait.This is more than the run of the mill Chip shop with a home cooked menu of curries, fish cakes and much more.

Second visit for takeaway fish and chips was as good as the first, think this will be our regular now

As a regular to Evercreech plaice, I highly recommend this little village chippy. Cracking menu, lots of homemade dishes. And proper chips cooked properly unlike other chippies nearby. Well recommended.
