Lovely little tucked away coffee shop, we had two amazing oat mochas, the best I’ve had since we have been in the Cotswold. Highly recommend trying whilst staying in stow in the Wold!!

Great coffee and no matter what time of day it is or how busy they are the staff are always happy.

It was great to find amazing Coffee in this town, we went back every morning to start the day with one of these wonderful coffees and also got some great travelling tips for sites and the area, very friendly couple.

Whilst enjoying a wander in Stow my border collie pup & I came across Stow Town Coffee; what a wonderfully friendly super lovely couple.. who served us up a delicious takeaway latte and Shep got lots of fuss too! So 10/10 stars & 🐾 paws from us both. We will be back! 🌟 Thank you

Really lovely hole-in-the-wall for espresso; we got a doppio and a latte and the latte, in particular, was excellent; great flavor from the espresso and steamed well. We were hoping to sit down for our coffees but this is strictly a take-away coffee joint. Plenty of nearby parking though - so no problem with grab-and-go. Staff was super friendly! Thanks!

Decent coffee but could be more cheery

My boyfriend and I recently visited the Cotswolds and came across this coffee shop. Wow! What an amazing find. I had a vanilla oat latte and my boyfriend an oat flat white. Both were incredible. Gutted we didn't purchase some beans for at home. Next time we visit we will be back! Thank you 🤩

After being in the UK for over 2 weeks, visiting from Australia, we finally enjoyed the best coffee and bought beans to take back with us. This is a lovely little coffee place, that was recommended by our daughter and partner. Thank you ☕

Unfortunately this served the worst hot chocolate I have ever had. Basically a cup of hot milk with squeezy children's chocolate sauce stirred into it.. eurgh! Awful. The waiter even squeezed the chocolate sauce straight into it from the counter. And had the cheek to charge £3.50 for it! Real hot chocolate nowhere in sight.. Avoid.

Very friendly and great coffee!! What more can you ask for?? They roast their own coffee too !! We come here whenever we visit Stow, we have tried them all, which are all nice to be fair, but it’s the best here at Stow Town Coffee ☕️

My family and I stayed in Stow for 4 days and each morning my sister and I walked over to stow town coffee. Charming place and the flat white was FANTASTIC! Where do I find coffee this good in Seattle?! Should have bought some beans to take home. You must try!

My pregnant wife and I were driving through Stow when we decided we wanted a quick coffee each. But we didn’t want to stop the car because we were on a long journey. We enjoyed two cappuccinos from Stow Town Coffee - exceptional coffee, lovely staff, fast service. What more could you ask for. Top tip: if you’re a passenger at the back of a traffic jam and there’s nobody in the queue for coffee, you might be able to order two cappuccinos, pay and receive them, then still have time to run to the front of the traffic jam to rejoin the driver of your car… now that’s fast service (and it was top notch coffee).

Fabulous coffee. Regrettably, I live mile's away but would go every day otherwise. Can't drink Costa/ Starbucks after tasting this!

Absolutely fantastic, top-quality coffee beans. We tested a lot of different brands before discovering Stow Town Coffee (subscription beans / other locally roasted beans), and theirs are by far the best we’ve ever had. They make a delicious coffee that is smooth and rich with flavour - beans ordered online from a big roasting company just can’t compete with their freshness at all. It feels like such a blessing to have this lovely roastery so close to us - their beans have made our morning coffees even more of a treat! 100% recommended for any coffee lover.

The PERFECT beans! Especially with the Sage Barista Express. We've found other, locally roasted beans to be drier despite recent roast dates. We always struggled to get the right yield/times. But whatever StowTown do, is perfection! We arnt maxing out the grind settings on the machine, sat nicely in the middle, and the shots that are pulled are beautiful! I will only buy StowTown for the house, and it's a real treat to pop to the shop whenever we make our way over from South Wales. Thank you for roasting your amazing beans, please never change what you do, you guys are awesome and so accommodating, despite us living so far away. Thank you both so much!! From Steve & Bryony!

Perfect Americano and very nice Ladies!

We were fortunate to be staying just a few doors down from this jewel. The coffee was awesome as was the service. I received my liquid gold quickly and from friendly faces… can’t ask for more.

Being tucked away, this place feels like a local secret. It is in fact, a local secret Gem for the amazing coffee that they make. Forget Nespresso, Lavazza, Starbucks and Coffee bean. This place freshly roasts and grinds coffee on premises, which makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE. Nothing else compares.

Normally we like fruitier beans and a lighter roast but this was a very drinkable coffee. We both thought we could taste cinnamon.

Visited when passing through Stow as I’d heard good things. Dave is a real coffee expert and clearly loves his work with the coffee beans roasted in the shop. Had a flat white on his recommendation. Best coffee I’ve had. Followed it up with a latte which was also lovely. Well worth a visit to get a coffee while walking round town.

This shop is really cool, the open glass showing the coffee machinery, the huge coffee sacks for sale only add to the wonderful strong scent of the coffee spilling onto the street. The staff are friendly and the coffee is top quality, my 8am visit everyday.

A very friendly welcome and good coffee as well. We had an espresso and decaf flat white, the espresso was very good, the decaf also, although maybe the milk was a touch too hot. Good value and worth a slight detour from the centre of the town.

Someone told us this was the best coffee in Stow, I would say the Cotswolds. The pain au raisin was also amazing even if somewhat large! Will be a regular bike stop from now on 😁

Think a lot of these reviews on here must be from their Cotswolds friends. The coffee has an incredible bitter taste to it, which can only be down to the beans being overroasted. The bloke who was working there wasn't very nice when I asked about the roasting of the beans. Went round the corner to the coffee shop next to the pub in the square and had a brilliant cup with a lot better service, think it was called Coach Coffee

fantsatic coffee i dont say this often but we bought a takeaway and a bag to use at home. its ground on site as you like it infront of you. great that places like this exist!! if you any where near the cotsolds i would suggest a detour to stow just for the coffee and then the sights are not too bad also.

I am a self confessed coffee snob , very particular about my coffee . All I can say it’s an excellent flat white . Velvety texture to the milk , the coffee had absolutely no trace of bitterness at all . We shall stop by tomorrow on our way home just to get another flat white .

Stopped here whilst on a bike ride and had one of the nicest coffees I have ever had. Super service, offering to fill water bottles and advised us where to sit and enjoy. Best place for a caffeine hit in the Cotswolds.

Best coffee in (at least) a 50-mile radius. Fantastic for at home as well as the barista-made coffees in Stow.

Tiny coffee roaster serving up espresso based drinks too. I had an iced black coffee (with a splash of condensed milk) and it was excellent. Ground single origin coffee for the week has gone down a treat too.

Top top quality coffee, best coffee we have had since we came to UK from Melbourne. The owner is a lovely guy and great to have a conversation with. My son says it’s the best coffee he has ever had and we are from Melbourne.

BEST COFFEE IN STOW AND SURROUNDING AREA! There are lots of tea shops and places to get a drink in Stow. If you are into your coffee and want to see a roaster, then this is your place! I go there every other week to buy their coffee beans and they will just fill any tub you bring in! The owners are so lovely and friendly and their flat whites are awesome!

¡Qué verdadera joya es este lugar! Mis planos blancos eran tan suaves como el terciopelo. A los niños les encantaron los chocolates calientes (con malvaviscos) también. Ambiente y música brillante y muy relajada, especialmente el salón secreto de arriba. . . No era tan secreto ahora pero tenía que compartirlo. I regularly seek out proper high quality independent coffee shops wherever I go and this was the best coffee I've had in quite a while. They roast their own beans in their fabulous and handsome roaster and get their milk from a local farm. The owners are lovely too. A real gem.

Very very nice coffee from a small artisan coffee shop. Beans are imported and roasted in the shop giving a very strong but smooth coffee with no bitter aftertaste and very reasonable prices.

Wonderful little coffee roastery that also serves drinks on the side. Nothing else served as nothing else is needed. Great coffee and the added benefit of being the only place in Stow where you can get a decent cup of coffee before 9 am. Visited twice.

As an Australian coffee officianado, it was wonderful to be able to order a'long black' and for the barista to know exactly what we wanted. It was equal to any we'd get in Melbourne. Good on him for opening at 8am too, so we could get our caffeine fix before heading out to explore the wonderful Cotswolds.

As a local who works from home - full time - I have tried every coffee shop in the surrounding villages and towns and this little gem of a coffee shop is by far the best. The coffee is so ridiculously good I often leave with a bag of their freshly roasted beans - roasted right there in the shop, right in front of you - or I'll hide away in the mezzanine for a couple of hours. The owners are fantastic - very welcoming, easy to talk to and happy to turn the music up should you favourite crop up on one of the many eclectic music mixes. This is a a proper local business, run by people who have a passion for coffee and is not to be missed.

Without doubt the best roasted coffee beans in the Cotswolds. The coffee is without equal and the owners are friendly and very knowledgeable about all things coffee. Also, my dogs drag me there most days for treats and back rub.....

Stumbled across this little coffee establishment and was so glad I did. It's quite a unique place as it is a coffee shop that also roasts their own beans. As you can imagine they make a great coffee, I had a flat white and I've not had any better outside of London.

Having previously created the most popular dog friendly coffee house in Stow, Dave and Ali have moved on and now supply their unique freshly roasted coffee to other establishments throughout the Cotswolds. However they still love meeting people especially if they have a well behaved dog, and have opened a small but beautifully formed outlet wherein you are able to enjoy the results of there endeavours.Seating is limited but you might be lucky enough to find space upstairs in this atmospheric building.
