Quaint and so warm feeling New England Coffee was an experience from start to finish The entrance, gives that warm old tea house feel! We were greeted by the most friendly and professional team members, who took our order and even suggested a room to sit in to enjoy our coffee I only took 1 picture, but know this place can seat numerous people. (Also bathroom very big) The atmosphere was complemented by the tasteful coffee (in the photo a flat white and peach tea) We will go out of our way to go again when next in the area Thank you, and any coffee/tea/treat lover reading this should make it a priority to visit and enjoy

Visited here for the first time today , the service was brilliant! I had a chai latte which was huge and very nice.. Just some feedback 😉 the guy in front of me in the queue was coughing all over the cakes , have thought about using a cloche too cover the cakes so it's more hygienic.. Being colieac I was going too try a gf brownie which looked amazing but the gf cakes were right next too the sandwiches 😏 the risk of contamination is too much .

We were told to move to another room and table by a very surly waitress as the cafe was closing ‘in about an hour’ and they needed to start clearing the rooms! Had already ordered -and paid otherwise would have left. But stayed crammed into a small room tiny table. No signage stating where we could sit. Toilet very dilapidated . Otherwise a pretty venue !

We popped in here after finding it on a mooch around Stow On The Wold. The food and drink seemed reasonably priced, and the drinks were lovely. Unfortunately, the cakes were uncovered with flies around, so that was a slight put off. However, the quirky cafe which consisted of three floors was lovely to dine in. I liked the comfortable chairs and the fact each room was decorated differently. The staff seemed accommodating and friendly, but the waitress that served our food seemed moody.

Such a beautiful little village in the cotswolds and to find this coffee shop was amazing, I was walking through the village and instantly smelled the coffee so went inside and got a double espresso, by far the best tasting and most potent coffee I've experienced, the only way I can describe the strength was very similar to a nice bit of Colombian flake, my jaw was uncontrollable for an hour after this.

Yes! After having a great breakfast spoiled by poor coffee (at a fancy hotel earlier that day), I was hoping to find some great coffee during my Cotswold's walkabout. But, owing to me being a bit of a coffee snob, I knew it was at best a 50 50 chance of satisfaction especially as I am so often disappointed. However as soon as I poked my nose in, the signs were good as the coffee aroma had me excited and the staff were welcoming. When the coffee was served (brought up to us in a nice little room on the First floor) it looked great and was presented via a nice cup and saucer, and best of all it tasted divine! I like my coffee Black. Americano or long Black style so that I can enjoy the full coffee taste. It was that good I ordered a Second cup and even bought a bag of the beans which they sell near the counter. The brand is 'newground', the coffee called 'Mug Shot' - a Brazilian coffee with big tasting notes of milk chocolate and nut. So good! And what's more, the food we had was also 10/10. A smoked salmon and cream cheese wholemeal bagel and a perfect panini. Couldn't have been any better. If I lived nearer to the New England coffee house then it would be my local choice for sure. Well done NECH

This café is not to be missed! We didn't try it the first couple days in town as it looks quite small from the outside, but it - like some of the other cafés in town - goes up two stories, where you can then sit in lovely looking rooms. A belated thank you. To the young lady who told me about the chocolate shop lady's preference for carrot cake. We managed to find where to get the baguette; left and straight up. Then right down at the end we were left right in front of where we wanted to be. All the best for your travels~~ 5 stars for service. And when service is this good, it all falls still into place like coffee and cake on the first floor, where the floor slopes down towards the door. It was wonderful to revisit Stow-in-the-Wold's New England Coffee House after several years. We had high expectations from previous visits (pre-2020s) and we weren't disappointed! As soon as we walked through the door, we received a most warm, convivial welcome. There was a very tempting range of cakes - too good to walk past without ordering a selection. The coffee was rich, smooth and velvety (made with full cream milk, as good coffee should be!). Our one milk-allergic family member enjoyed a perfect oat milk latte. Thank you to the lovely staff for a wonderful caffeination experience! :) We hope to be back one day soon. x

Always served by fantastic, friendly, and hilarious staff! Full of enthusiasm. I love this place! Will always go back- and will always recommend! Best coffee in stow! No doubt about it! Our welcome was a little ‘Luke warm’ as the staff both looked at one another, as though reluctant to be the one to serve us! The young lady who took us up to our table with the menus was quite sullen and we found that quite disconcerting! We asked for clarity with the menu and the young man serving us was very polite and engaging. The meal was sublime and there are many descriptors that I could use, but I’ll stick with that one. The wine was perfectly chilled and very flattering. We were given the appropriate attention and neither felt rushed or neglected and whiled away almost 3 hours. We were very happy with the choice of restaurant for the evening and were really impressed with the Menu and the outcome of our selections. Thank you. We would definitely recommend your restaurant for its food and ambience and hospitality shown by the very attentive waiter.
