A tiny little outlet that punches above its weight. They serve a good selection of handmade sushi, bubble teas and some hot items. I had a set of sushi and some fried gyoza. A great spot as it is opposite a fantastic world food supplier.

Sushi are nice but very surprisingly no sauce, wasabi or ginger included.

Definitely the best Sushi I’ve had, been to a few ‘high end’ sushi restruants too and this tops it. The man behind the counter is exceptionally polite and helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough

Best sushi my girlfriend and I have had, and I've been to some pretty nice sit-in restaurants. Highly recommend the crunchy spicy salmon roll. Wasn't too spicy for me, tasted great!

The sushi we had was absolutely delicious and freshly made behind the counter. The staff were very hospitable and made our sushi quickly. I would recommend if you are in the area and would like to pick up a bag.

I strongly recommend this place if you’re into Japanese Cuisine (like sushi) or craving for some simple snacks and drinks, I have came here multiple times for their drinks and food, they have never disappointed me once at all😁! My only tip is that dining your meal inside when it’s freshly hot would give you the best experience with their food. And even better, the workers there are all very kind and considerate! Very excellent!

Best sushi I have ever eaten. Lovely and fresh. Not everything tastes of fish, which shows how fresh it is. Love this place. Just can't stop eating it, it is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend sushi king. The more I order the more I love it. Ne er been a fan of sushi, that was until I got from here. Now I can't get enough.

If I could I would give 100 stars.. I came here driving 40 minutes with a pregnancy crazy craving after not eating for weeks, they made an special for me with EXACTLY what I wanted. Pho was so sweet and caring! Caring in a restaurant?! Amazing, so happy I came here and I will 100000% be back! Sushi very freshly made, delicious and much better than I expected! Love it !

Amazing fresh food, some of the best!

Delivered in time but missing a piece of the order, was told it would be resent out asked to be called when they arrived but the missing piece was just left on the reception desk for who know how long . Quality of the food was great though.

Lovely local sushi joint that also offers bubble tea/drinks and other freshly made hot food. The iced Matcha was really flavourful and not too sweet. The squid with wasabi sauce was made to order and perfectly cooked. The sushi was some of the best that you’ll get round the area.

Love the bobas, especially the coffee one! Workers are all so kind, and I get a boba every week almost 😅

Get the chicken katsu curry from here for lunch every now and then. Always been really tasty

Horrible food, tastes awful. Store-bought sushi tastes better. I ordered Menu 1 and i tried ONE SUSHI and i barely finished it, nearly threw up.

I am so impressed with the incredible quality of sushi here for the price. The staff are so helpful and friendly, and I wish I had known they did delivery when I first moved to Yeovil, I feel I’ve been robbed of years of quality sushi I could’ve been ordering! I went in to grab some takeaway a week ago, and the server was so attentive, she explained they could make other things on the menu if I couldn’t find what I wanted in the take-away cabinet, let me know about delivery and their bubble tea menu and Christmas offers. I chose some inside-out salmon rolls and salmon nigiri, and chocolate mochi. What struck me the most was just how fresh and delicate the fish tasted, I am used to having to get my sushi from the Tescos Yo counter and the difference was astounding, I will only get my sushi from Sushi King now! The chocolate mochi were so rich and full tasting, absolutely delicious and my new favourite. It only took two days before I ordered my first takeaway for myself. I chose a salmon hand roll, salmon dragon roll and inside-out salmon roll plus Maki maxi set. It took me two sittings to eat it all and it arrived promptly, with a deliciously delicate homemade wasabi paste. I am so excited to have found such a gem of a restaurant!

I regularly get lunch from this place - and I've yet to be disappointed. Vegetables are always fresh and crisp. The shichimi rolls are my regular treat - but so far everything has been delicious (Teriyaki, Wasabi Squid and the Katsu). Today I tried the rainbow salmon bowl. Avocodo and mango were perfectly ripe and the salmon was simply excellent. You can find cheaper options no doubt, but for quality of food I don't think there is much close in Yeovil. Service is always polite and helpful too!

Some of the food here really is good, especially the tempura prawn katsu curry. When you look at the packaging, there's a long list of ingredients, so, I thought that it was bought in bulk, but they actually make it themselves.

Sushi King Is my favourite take away and our Friday treat we have never had a bad meal from them.

possibly the best experience I’ve had from sushi/asian food establishment! I ordered the taro milk tea; it tasted delectable and authentic! the taro puree mixed with the tapioca was made to perfection. it’s seldom to find genuine bubble tea around somerset…this is the best place to order from! the sushi was so fresh, delicious and evidently made with love. the staff are beyond giving, lovely and respectful. they were so helpful with helping us what to order; the whole place is lit up with their joyful attitudes. super hospitable, friendly and warm! i love the cultural decorations in the shop; it really adds to the experience! this is now my favourite spot to get bubble tea, sushi and other authentic Asian cuisine. 10/10! definitely coming back to try more of the different bubble tea flavours and to indulge in the wide selection of sushi!

It was estimated to take 25-30minutes for delivery but once paid it changed to an hour. Food arrived, crunch roll is yummy. I had salmon sashimi, salmon is not good quality it’s got an almost cooked consistency which was strange and very thick and large slices of salmon. Tuna maki ok

Piping hot food tasted delicious packaging was superb.

We had planned to order sushi from another local place but they were shut. We ordered online to collect just before the closed at 5:30. There was a bit of confusion on collection as they had a stream of people collected discounted items at the end of the day using toogoodtowaste which I had never heard of. We got a nice selection of different items and were very pleased with all of them. We will certainly be going back and happy to recommend. Its a shame then don't deliver a little later in the day.

When ordering for about £50, I didn't get any chopsticks to eat with and only two small soy sauces. The sushi was very fresh but the rolls fell apart as I ate them.

Top quality food and the portions size definitely go above and beyond the price. The staff are friendly and welcoming with great service.

The cheese cake mochi I found had too much cream cheese in and it was a little sickly along with the chocolate one being a bit bitter, no choice of drinks and the sushi could have done with more avocado but that’s just my personal preference

Relatively good sushi, depends on what day you go. Prices are high compared to other places I have visited, especially if you're just looking to grab a snack. I love sushi but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. 4* because I have had worse:)

Very happy with my order. The delivery was really prompt and the food was delicious. The Katsu curry arrived piping hot and the portion was generous. I was so full I had to save the sushi for tomorrow.

I was really looking forward to trying this place, we adore sushi so we were sorely disappointed. The food is poor quality and it is completely unacceptable to serve tuna sashimi completely frozen solid. The chicken gyoza was also crunchy with ice crystals. It’s normal to freeze fish before it’s served as sushi but to serve it still frozen is really disappointing. For some reason they have really good reviews so we thought we’d found a star in Yeovil. Please please avoid, it’s really not worth spending £30 on, even our cat turned his nose up at it.

I love sushi and buying it from here just feels so much nicer than buying it from a supermarket. it’s always fresh and made daily. it’s great for going to pick up for dinner or for a snack if you’re out in town, you can buy additional chopsticks and soy sauce for 30p if you don’t have any at that time :)) as well as doing sushi they do many flavours of Mochi omg it’s devine. I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH PROPER AUTHENTIC SUSHI <3 it’s a tad overpriced but it’s sushi, it’s totally worth it for the quality of fish (so good my dog even wanted some)

Ordered an assortment of Sushi and Sashimi. I appreciate the place had probably just opened but please tell me why we received FROZEN sashimi…???? Sliced like it was cut with blunt scissors and frozen. We couldn’t eat it.

Food was delivered on time and the service was great! I had some Nigiri and some Sashimi, the Nigiri was amazing as always! The Sashimi however half frozen when i received it and i found a large pin bone in one piece

Curry was awesome but the dumplings came with instructions on how to deep fry or steam them...not much good at work with no cooking equipment!

Cancel our orders constantly. Tried to order through just eat and on there website. Not worth the time. The food is brilliant as we have had it before. But they like to cancel orders at around 20 to 5. Almost seems like they want to close early

What a great find! Small sushi take out shop right next to Tesco, with a lovely selection and generous portions. The salmon nigiri was excellent, large pieces of salmon but soft and buttery, and I even got home made wasabi to taste. Sushi King is now officially on our weekly treat list.

Great sushi "cafe" for take outs with a wide variety of fish - a nice change from similar sushi places that only offer the usual salmon/tuna (in very variety). The octopus was lovely and a welcome surprise, as was the inari (dessert). They've looked after my father well over the years, delivering him his sashimi fix when he needs it. If you do prefer sashimi, make sure to order ahead!

Delicious, fresh sushi prepared daily. Highly recommended, my go to takeaway in town! 15 minute parking spaces outside and right next to tescos / Town High Street. Really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff who help pick things out if you aren't sure! Brilliant!!
