We came across the Eyston Arms as we were driving around Oxfordshire and decided on a spur of the moment lunch. Don't let the nondescript appearance of the pub from the roadside put you off. Inside it's an impressive and traditional English pub/restaurant with lovely features. Despite not having booked we were found a table in the busy restaurant. Staff were friendly and attentive. Nice touches on the table - linen napkins, fresh flowers. We chose a starter and dessert for lunch, both of which were excellent. Thanks to all for a great time.

Very disappointed that under aged kids are allowed to drink in the pub. I had to pick my son up drunk, he is 16. To tell my older son who collected him, he doesn’t notice when it’s busy, it’s your job and your staff to not allow them in and serve them.

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I had a really disappointing experience at this venue. Upon ordering drinks, we were told that they had run out of mixers, which felt unprofessional for a place that's supposed to be fully stocked. On top of that, the toilets were absolutely disgusting—clearly not maintained throughout the night. What was even more concerning, though, was the behavior of the security staff. They were allowing underage girls into the club and even serving them drinks. This is not only irresponsible but also potentially illegal, and it made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I won’t be returning. I hope the management addresses these serious issues.

The home made ice cream here is second to none! they have loads of very tastey home made and baked treats supplied by local people. Not to mention all the amazing locally sourced fresh meat that is butchered right there on site. This is my idea of a great farm shop!! The best part is the butcher always has a fresh bone or two for my dog when he sees us coming!! So lucky to have such a good farm shop near by!!

After seeing The Tea Pot on FB, being a local, thought we would pop in for scones an coffee. Placed our order an due to not being too warm weather wise, sat indoors. Firstly, the table was dirty from previous guests! (It was not busy at time of visiting). The scone I am sorry to say was not a scone! It was all crumbly! an flat in appearance! I am sure it has been frozen prior an warmed! The coffee was not hot but luke warm! Very disappointing, as mentioned, being a local I would most definitely have returned.
