We have ordered from China Court several times now and the food has been consistently great. Good portion sizes and free prawn crackers if you spend a certain amount. Delivery can take a while so best to order a least an hour before you want to eat. Highly recommend.

NEW OWNERS AT LAST ! this pub has had people in who didn't appear to want to be there, now Rory & Lorraine have taken over the difference is night & day in such a short time. Friendly, helpful and interesting to talk to they are a breath of fresh air, this lovely old pub was crying out for. This place will be packed again in no time.

Came for lunch. The Eyston Arms is a lovely country pub: welcoming, warm and vibrant. The menu is not very long but there was something for everyone, especially when you add in the "specials". Our starters - prawns - were nice but lacked a bit of flavour. Our mains of venison, however, were delicious: beautifully tender and packed full of flavour. Mrs D didn't want a dessert but I found room for sticky toffee pudding, which was very good. The waiting staff were lovely and very efficient. Service was good. Not the cheapest meal we have ever had but these days you get what you pay for, and ours was definitely worth it.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch there yesterday. Very much better than many pub/restaurants around. The food was plentiful and the quality was excellent unlike say the Rose Revived who after 20 years still can't serve cooked vegetables. We had white bait and soup for starters, three Sunday roasts, two beef and one lamb and on camembert cheese with a sliced bagget. Followed up with two cheescakes - the other two eaters were full! Don't be put off that their web site isn't working as they are moving to a new provider

We went for a Sunday roast with our adult kid who just graduated from Oxford. I had been wanting to go in since visiting Oxford last year as the pub looked warm and inviting. The food was amazing: delicious roast beef (and chicken for my husband) with excellent Yorkshire pudding and beautifully roasted vegetables, topped by a scrumptious sticky toffee pudding. Other patrons were lovely and friendly as well. Highly recommend!

I wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t be going back. The venue was dirty, and there were clearly underage girls inside. Security staff weren’t displaying their licenses, which was concerning. The toilets were unusable—completely unclean and unattended. The manager seemed to be on a power trip, and there was blatant drug dealing happening. The amount of smoke in the air made it hard to see. One customer, Lisa, appeared to have a close relationship with the staff, as she was deliberately bumping into people, being mouthy and aggressive, yet it was the victims of her behavior who were escorted out instead of her. The only positive was the bar lady with purple hair—she was lovely.

Slowest McDonald’s in the world, every time have to wait and food then wrong and cold! Something everyone we come here. Management need to sort out.

The home made ice cream here is second to none! they have loads of very tastey home made and baked treats supplied by local people. Not to mention all the amazing locally sourced fresh meat that is butchered right there on site. This is my idea of a great farm shop!! The best part is the butcher always has a fresh bone or two for my dog when he sees us coming!! So lucky to have such a good farm shop near by!!

After seeing The Tea Pot on FB, being a local, thought we would pop in for scones an coffee. Placed our order an due to not being too warm weather wise, sat indoors. Firstly, the table was dirty from previous guests! (It was not busy at time of visiting). The scone I am sorry to say was not a scone! It was all crumbly! an flat in appearance! I am sure it has been frozen prior an warmed! The coffee was not hot but luke warm! Very disappointing, as mentioned, being a local I would most definitely have returned.
