China Court in Vale of White Horse

We have ordered from China Court several times now and the food has been consistently great. Good portion sizes and free prawn crackers if you spend a certain amount. Delivery can take a while so best to order a least an hour before you want to eat. Highly recommend.

Very long delivery times even after paying £3.50 for delivery. Food was burnt, tasteless and cold. Will not recommend or visit again

Ordered the chinese at 1pm to be delivered at 7.30 arrived at 8pm delivery man wasn’t pleasant food was warm ish tried ringing no answer. Not impressed you pay delivery food should be hot if they can’t deliver then let customers know. Not sure if we will use again. Been a regular customer

We ordered from China Court this weekend, the food was perfect! Delivery took around an hour which is what we were estimated.

Quite simply Vile. Really gone down hill. Undercooked, stodgy, disgusting. 95% went in the bin. Never again!! Waste of money 🤮

We used China Court tonight for the first time in quite a while. The food was perfect! Good portion sizes and delicious! Couldn’t fault it!

I ordered a curry expecting rice no rice came. In there menu it does not mention rice is not included. I also ordered 2 house special chow meins perfect and spare ribs also perfect. Called up to complain the women kept saying you said no Veg, yep that’s correct but I did not say no rice with a curry. So basically I got curry sauce and meat to go with some chips. Ridiculous place been ordering for years from that place, never again avoid the disappointment. An Indians tells you rice is not included maybe this place should do the same.

Ordered a takeaway tonight Was advised 1.5 hrs delivery which is fair enough. Rang at after 1.75 hrs. I think we had been forgotten. Delivery was just 2hrs which is disappointing. No apology from the delivery driver. Such a shame as we have used this for 4 years.

Had lovely meals from here previously however we were very disappointed this time i had duck and it was inedible the chicken balls tasted like they had been cooked in old oil and were also inedible the only good thing tonight was the prompt delivery sorry I had to write this it's usually excellent.

The woman that takes the orders needs some lessons in customer service. Rude rude rude! Food hit and miss. And all the chefs smoking outside is disgusting. Then they cook your dinner. Won’t ever use again.

Great food, delivered hot and on time at a reasonable value for money price. You could do no better.

We have used China court many times and it’s always been the best. But last night it was late being delivered I ordered on line booked a time slot it came over an hour late. The food was warm the chips and pancake roll were not freshly cooked they are normally crispy these were soggy like they were left overs from day before. Not impressed will think twice about ordering there again.

I will never use this takeaway again. I warned them that I had an allergy and emailed them twice. They never confirmed they had received my emails, they do not answer the phone. I could have died and they don't care

I ordered and payed online due to the Coronavirus. I picked a time slot and we had a set meal for two. The meal was delivered on time and put next to the front door. The delivery man was very efficient especially in the circumstances. Well cooked hot food. We will definitely be reordering. Highly Recommend.

We ordered a £150 worth of food from this place last night when we were working late. To start only £40 worth turned up. We rang and told them about it they said they had just not read half the order... more like £110 worth! They said they would cook the rest in 10 minutes. That much food in 10 minutes?! Ok then.... I then asked for it all to be replaced as all the food we had would be cold. Ok they said. 15 minutes later we went to pick up all the food only to be asked where the first box of food was. We were baffled, why do you want the food box back it’s cold and spoilt. What are you going to do with it? They just said it’s ‘our property so that’s our decision”. I mean I have been so disgusted in my life, why would you want a box of food back that has already been cooked and gone cold?!? I’ll leave that to your imagination but my guess is that they were going to reheat it and send it back out to someone else! Horrendous! The lady was irate on the phone that we didn’t think to return the food (that she didn’t make clear on my phone call with her) and was adamant it was still fine food.... when we finally ate, it was mediocre at best. I’ve never heard of anything like it. No apology, mediocre food and some poor people who probably had cold spoilt reheated food last night as their order! They may had a 4 on the hygiene rating but my guess is reheating food to send out for another order doesn’t warrant a 4!!!! Stay well clear!

Disgusting curry sauce, ruined my meal, special fried rice with hardly and mear/prawns, never again! Yet their website reviews are all 5 stars and you cant leave a review there, what a con!!!!

Absolutely vile and also got my order wrong we had crispy duck and all you could taste was fat disgusting food never going there again also your staff could do with saying hello goodbye and a smile wouldn't go a miss

We had to wait 2 hours for our delivery this evening - 1 hour longer than expected - despite being assured after 90 mins that our food was only 10 mins away. When our food finally arrived, it really wasn’t worth the wait. Our ‘crispy’ duck was greasy and barely had any meat on it; the rice looked like had been re-cooked several times over; and the Kung po chicken was inedible. We asked for a refund before the food arrived. After trying the food, a refund is the very least I would expect. Shocking.

Really good food the noodles were lovely. The ribs tasty the sweet sour prawns nice soft but crunchy fried rice lovely. Everything hot and tasty. Really enjoyed this meal.

We used China Court for the first time tonight and was really impressed. Can really recommend the beef fried noodles. Highly recommended.

Oh my God please drag me away from the sesame prawn bread... I love this place so much definately my new go to place with the family everyone I ordered for absolutely loved it

No soy un ventilador enorme de China no siempre había porquería pequeños, al norte. Me trasladé a Abingdon con mi marido y decidimos pedir comida china. Lo mejor que he probado! Era tan sabroso y muy caliente en el momento de entrega. Mi marido fue absolutamente sobre la Luna no pato en salsa de ciruela, ya no hay muchos lugares que ver y el aspecto en su rostro cuando él tenía el primer bocado atesoraré para siempre. Yo no podría ser feliz con la porción, el sabor y el calor que hacía cuando llegamos. La señora encantadora en el teléfono incluso nos dijo que había un retraso, así que puede ser un tiempo de espera. Era más que sin duda vale la pena la espera, lo recomiendo. Celebraremos cada vez que ir lejos! ! !

Weekday take away around 8pm , food was Luke warm and rice was mike cardboard . Was recommended and very disappointed with the food on this visit.

He estado en muchos sitios de comida para llevar china alrededor de Abingdon y este es de lejos el mejor. No gms (lo que te hace super secas al final de su comida) y la calidad siempre es muy buena.

We have a takeaway at least once a week here. Always lovely and never have to wait too long. Its the best Chinese in Abingdon.

The restaurant was also very hard to get hold of, which was very frustrating, and on one of the two occasions when we did get through no one actually spoke. Would be willing to try again, mostly because there are so few take-away restaurants in the local area which doesn't leave us with much choice. Hopefully this delivery issue was just a blip, but not very impressed with the service.

Ordered sweet and sour sauce, chilli beef, crispy seaweed and egg fried rice. Was okay but seaweed was overloaded with sugar and I was hoping for more sauce on the crispy beef but it was dry style unlike I'd had before.

Not impressed on Meal quantity . How come the quantity was reduced not as it used to be. Got really upset. I have been a regular customer and now am considering somewhere else.

Excellent Chinese but very rude staff. Wasn't willing to cooperate with me due to a mistake on the order due to their fault.

I requested a menu be placed in the bag. However this was not done. I wrote this request in the only space available, the "Special Request" form. This is used for anything, including allergies. Makes you wonder if they read the form at all and the dangers involved if they do not. Although there was a leaflet inside stating that they were about to leave Just Eat as they were increasing their costs. Just Eat stated that the food would be with me in 20 minutes, took about 45. To be fare 45 the norm. If it had been 20 I would have thought twice about excepting the order. Great food. never had a bad experience yet , food wise. Fresh ingredients and plenty of it.

Mejor comida china para llevar que hemos tenido en Abingdon. La comida llega rápidamente, caliente y es sabroso!! He utilizado dos veces y no me puedo quejar! Buen tamaño de las porciones.

Food was ok, nothing special, only ordered from here as I wanted a delivery. When I placed the order at 6:30 it said the estimated time for delivery was 7:20, the food arrived after 8pm so was over an hour and half.

The food arrived early but it was cold and barely edible. Personally I think it was appalling and not what you pay good money for. Unfortunately this is not the first time I have had cold food from this takeaway and I certainly wont be re-ordering myself or recommending it to anyone else unless they serious up their game!
