The best restaurants in Vale of White Horse South East

It’s a great place for real coffee. Sometimes you might need to tell the barista to make your coffee better. Once I had to return my coffee. Overall, it’s a lovely place but the owner should continuously train the baristas. But still it is the best Costa coffee shop I have ever visited.

The worst windows etancheity i've ever seen. You feel the cold at 2 meter from the windows. The highway is in your room, you can hear it all night. They didn't lock my door after cleaning. It takes 15-30min to have cook 1 egg each morning.

Such a beautiful pub so quirky. Amazing staff made us feel so very welcome. The food was outstanding! All freshly made and home cooked. Will 💯 be going back and highly recommended.

Absolutely adore a takeaway from The May Flower, enjoying exploring the menu but just can’t say no to the generous Mayflower Special Rice and saucy Crispy Chilli Shredded Beef. Just love ordering lots of different things and sharing amongst the family. Such good value for what you get. No photos, we scoffed it all.

I advise to go 200yrds further to the Mcdonald, s next door!!! I ordered Baked potato with tuna and salad.Arrived after quite a long wait . Looked OK,salad of lettuce leaves ,tomatoes and cucumber, looked fresh.Baked potato was cold,sent it back,poorwaitress very apoligic, returned with hot potato but salad had changed to a bunch of lettuce that's it just lettuce!!!.Hubby ordered Fish and Chips he said OK but again Chips cold. Near to us table if 3 ladies who had to ask where there main was as they gad been waiting over 40 minutes. Behind us gentleman complained that most of the items that should if been missing sweet corn and chicken popcorn. So in all very poor service all round and......they weren't busy. Poor young lady was so really behind the poor service experience. I emailed the restaurant when got home,nothing gave them a good 10 days and sent another to which I received an email stating that I had received an email from head office as that's where complaints went,no apology from him. I did not receive anything from there head office so sent them an email....nothing.So Marstons as a company you are a very poor example of the restaurant trade. Poor food, poor service,and very poor customer service.

Couldn’t speak English, couldn’t find our house. Better refund or I’ll declare fraudulent activity.

Went for lunch at this McDonalds today , Best McDonalds we have been to , clean and tidy , very friendly helpful staff , food was as it should . Very Nice

Absolutely horrible! I went to this McDonalds because it was local, I thought it would be nice. I got in and ordered something, all the staff looked depressed and not wanting to be there at all! After about 20 minutes I got my burger but the McFlurry I ordered was on the receipt but was not with my food. I went down to the counter and asked where it was and they groaned at me and said the machine was broken. What a surprise that the machine is McBroken again. Anyways I don’t get money back for that. I started to eat my burger and realised there was pickles in it even though I customised it to have NO PICKLES.. There was hair inside the burger and the drink was half empty. By any means do not go here!

This venue makes no claim to be gourmet food, but it’s great for families and solo diners. There is space for many customers and designated for quiet eating. Nice burgers with chips and coleslaw

Terrible baño, en realidad un peligro para la salud y particularmente difícil para las personas discapacitadas como yo. Piscinas de orina en el suelo, asiento sucio del inodoro. Café bien, el personal no está interesado. Vamos Starbucks, esto podría ser una joya para los viajeros de larga distancia, pero actualmente es espantoso y casi peligroso,

Tuvimos una estancia agradable y cómoda en el Ferryman y una fabulosa cena en el restaurante con amigos. Recomendaría esto como una parada obligada para Thames Walker entre The Trout en Tadpole Bridge y Oxford. El personal/propietarios eran muy amables y atentos e hicieron estas secciones de nuestro paseo muy especial.

Portions are massive! Food was super fresh and the chap serving us was great fun. We got a large fries with served three of us....And my husband had the cod and chips which was massive.

My husband had a full breakfast , I had a bacon bap. Unfortunately the breakfast was lacklustre . The bacon was dried up , my large bap was lacking in bacon three shrivelled up pieces. Will definitely stick to cake. Everything seems as it had been hanging around , dried out.
