Mcdonalds in Vale of White Horse

Our granddaughter is addicted to MacDonald's and even though we doing like it there's no way that we can avoid it. This placed is conveniently located of the A34. The service is fast.

Absolutely useless, on more than once occasion we have had a group order for the office and when the employee has got back with the food items have not been in the bags but we have been charged for them, this has happened many times...

Service was really fast and food was hot and fresh. visited early Sunday morning and this is a Small Mc Donald’s. I bet it’s hard to park and get a seat normally but today was not to bad.

We called on a Wednesday tea time. Very busy as school holidays. Plenty of staff available in serving area but no one in eating area. Tables filthy, food and packaging on floor, bins overflowing,and no one doing anything about it. The toilets were no better....

Last three times I've had something wrong with the order. 1. Wrong burger, 2. One dip instead of two. 3. Hot chocholate that tasted like brown water. Perhaps I'll be fourth time lucky

Visited here earlier today to pick up lunch for the office. Arrived by car and used the Drive-Thru. Staff were pleasant and food was fairly quick. Would have liked sauce to be handed within the bags as this is usually the case unless that's changed...

This McDonald's is near halfway between Bournemouth and Derby. On arrival I could not help but notice a member of staff polishing a chair leg. Overall, it is a McDonalds.

Food and speed of service as you would expect. No problems with this area of things. The one thing I found to be lacking is cleanliness, the floor had so much food debris on it, it really was disgusting. The sweep mop was propped up...

Without a doubt this place should be shut down, walked in to find sick on the floor as you enter. Informed one of the numerous staff who said he would deal with it. 20 minutes later it's still left there, with people walking through it...

Called in just for a coffee to break up a journey heading South. This Maccy D has the new touch screens for ordering and they're great. Make your choice quickly, pay with a contactless card and, hey presto, order delivered to your table. Really efficient.

Never fails. Sausage wrap with ketchup. Black coffee. Back on the road within about four minutes. Result! See you soon!

You usually know what you are going to get with McDonald's. this no exception, to be honest though good food and service plus nice and clean. Good!

Visited earlier this week for lunch . The two lane ordering system is a bit complicated as even if you are in the shortest queue the other queue seems to move quicker ! Fast and hot is all you need as a drive through !

Another perfectly adequate McDonald's, clean and tidy etc. Table service from the touchscreen board (always amuses me to get table service in McD, and actually it's very convenient too).

Service is appalling! Possibly the slowest service from any McDonald's I've ever experienced. People were waiting so long for food the that people ahead of me in the queue left without their food!

Visitamos este McD's usando el coche por en el camino de vuelta de un partido de rugby. Me preguntó si todo estaba allí como habíamos planeado para volver a casa y comer. Adivina qué, mi hijo tenía que regresar para artículos para completar el pedido. Seguramente no es difícil asegurarse de todo, desde una orden está presente.

Came here for lunch. It was very busy. I don't like the self service ordering screens they are too close to the door. The food collection point right next to it. May as well just do it the old way. Not enough seating either. The talk blonde girl is pretty tho! Lol

I don't know what Mcdonalds was thinking by changing the concept of ordering food, the order screen is great but one person sorts the orders out and you end up with a pile of food at the order point getting cold.

Good McDonalds on the services area and near an out of town shop centre. Outside seating which was nice for a sunny afternoon outside late lunch

Very busy n generally not very clean. Why do most McD toilets always smell.. food was okay, but a bit slow.

Honestidad iv ha sido uno de un par de veces y en ese tiempo han conseguido pedir tres o cuatro veces. Es tan ridículo que también mi pedido antes de salir sólo para averiguar cuando llegue a casa que no hay ingredientes en nuestra comida (ensalada de tocino era simplemente deja nada más) no salsas que pedimos no volveremos.

Pantallas de autoservicio como vas así que sus comidas puede ser entregado a su mesa, bastante novedosa.

Normal McDonalds quality, but so busy we had to go round the car park repeatedly to find a space to park! So full inside that we had to sit outside in the rain to eat our food.

Utilizamos el drivethrough hace un par de semanas. El servicio era grosero, el hombre no podía entender por intercom. Cuando llegamos a la miembro del personal fue muy brusco y antipático. La comida estaba fría!! Habría vuelto a quejarse, pero no es la primera vez que ha recibido este servicio aquí, así que lección aprendida para ir a otro sitio! Evitar!!

What can I say? Macdonalds is Macdonalds. Wherever you go there is nearly always a Macdonalds nearby. The food is always tasty and inexspensive. The surroundings are basic but comfortable. This restaurant is the same as the others and gives a good service.

I don't know why I went here, every time I go to a McDonald's I regret it, then I seem to forget how awful the food is and that it's always cold and fall in to the trap again. It's my fault, I never learn. "Maccy D Food Is Awful Don't Go There, I should have etched onto the windscreen of my car.

Unsecured high seat was presented for young children use! When being questioned and asked to do something about this, the manager was replying "Do you want an ice cream or what?" Horribly abusing the safety and very rude to customers!

In terms of the menu there is not much to say it is the same as every other Mcdonalds, but we often stop here ont he way to the south coast as it is in a very useful location just off the A34 south of oxford.Allways foud the place to clean and tidy and the service quick

Anyone vegetarian should try the Spicy Veggie burger or a meal(for 4.98 GBP) and that's tasty and good enough for a person with a decent diet. That's the best vegetarian option I found during my stay there in March 2015

Standard McDonalds, we stopped for a coffee and a breakfast. Always good value and quick service, very handy pull off without going miles from your route.

Stopped to get a coffee whilst driving north. Initially there was only one young guy in the counter and he seemed inexperienced (no stars on his badge) and service was a bit slow BUT he was the nicest most charming young man I'd spoken to all day. My black coffee was very hot and full if flavour - unlike my double cheese burger which was just about warm. There was a member if staff cleaning tables and again she was very pleasant taking peoples rubbish away for them and cleaning tables as soon as they were vacated. Great staff, great coffee but avoid the food unless it's cooked to order.

Now the children are older don't go as much as we use too. Food was lovely on this occasion, just wish they did the milkshakes with cream on top like they do in the US.

MACDONALDS on their Customer Satisfaction Web Site asks for details that are printed on your receipt, CAN YOU TELL ME WHICH MACDONALDS GIVES RECEIPTS AS PART OF THE STANDARD SERVICE. Visited this establishment for first time, 3 tills at counter one till busy serving large family order middle till no one on but open 3rd till dealing with customer, went straight to middle till, AND WAITED, till to right finished with customer and then attended to customer standing behind, STILL waiting, till at left finished with customer and asked if I needed serving (why am I standing at till ), complained that I wasn't being served and others waiting in queue behind had been served, to which the associate before I had finished was apologising obviously to curt to quick thus over trained. Placed order was asked if 'eat in or take away', stated eat in to cold to sit out-side in November, was asked if I would like cup carriers for hot drinks, declined, & was told I could not take the food to the table on the tray as its not allowed, taking food to the table noticed other tables had trays on them, and dotted around the premises, returned to counter and asked why I was not allowed to take a tray to the table, was it because I only have one hand, for which again got the MACDONALDS TRADE MARK apology, returning to get the tomato sauce & Bar B Q sauce now found fries were warm, & burgers were even cooler. Macdonalds Didcot NEVER AGAIN.

Not much to write about, a perfect place for breakfast and brunch. Fast and cordial service with a menu where you generally find something to suite your (Indian) taste.

The breakfast the two times we were there was like any other McDonalds. The first visit the staff was absolutely wonderful, the second time, the young lady that helped me was as miserable as you could get. It was like being back in America.

Called part way on a long journey for coffee and kids meal...what a mess ,it was steadily busy not packed...disabled toilets a mess,no soap dispenser on wall..men's toilets urinals blocked,urine all over the cubicle floor...uuurrghhh! Not checked in a very long time on ordering the counter area was over run with flies...i think environmental health would have a field day...avoid area at all costs...

Newish restaurant on a service area by the side of the A34.Very clean, good staff and food was fresh.

Visited on 3 consecutive Sundays for breakfast when on route to Southampton, 1st visit, ordered a double muffin received single instead, 2nd visit, no cream cheese or knife with bagel, 3rd visit, no flavoring added to porridge. Really frustrating, once you have driven away. No reply when you ring to complain, empty apology when emailed. I now use a much better McDonalds on the A34, 4 miles away just off the A415 at Abingdon OX14 1AU, 2 drive thru, loads of parking, your order is cheaper (and correct) happy staff and very near to Tesco, so fuel around 5p cheaper a gallon than the BP at Didcot. You have a choice, make it the right one!!!!

This is the best McDonalds I have ever visited. Even better than some of the American restaurants I've been to. Didcot Mc D's is clean friendly and offers a fast service..the drive in crew are the best I have ever been served by..if your going north on the A34 and are thinking of missing didcot mcDonalds out and carrying on to abingdon forget it..if you miss out Didcot you will have missed a real treat..Didcot is far superior to Abingdon. Congrats Didcot Maccy D's it's a pleasure pulling into the services for my cuppa and bagel!
