Ordered chips with cheese barely any cheese and chips were cold made me sick half the night

I’ve been coming to Sami’s trailer for years and the food is absolutely tasty and fresh every time. The staff are super friendly too!

Food was cold didn't enjoy one bit only nice thing about the meal was the chicken deffo won't be ordering from here again missing items of the order delivery lady was spot on as soon as I told her item was missing she went back and collected missing items and brought straight back

Great Food shame my order was wrong

Wrong sauce on burger so couldn’t be eaten. Tiniest amount of salad on kebab. Chips wasn’t even a small portion. The other burger was soggy at the bottom and the whole thing was barely warm. Won’t order again.

2 hours 10 minutes still no sign of my order , phoned 15 minutes ago to complain to which I was told 2/3 minutes , still nothing

Nice tasting kebab and friendly people

Pot with sos was squished and opened so the sauce covered everything inside the bag. Kebab on chips very small portion compared to the one when you order at the truck.

Great for a quick bite. Good value, prepared quickly. Friendly and polite staff. You can sit in the sunshine in the town square and enjoy your meal :)

It has to be said every business has its ups and downs .but in my experience with samis they do their best to rectify if possible on the odd chance of something being wrong, which is really rare .Food and service is great .my kids love them as do I looking forward to many great meals from these hard working guys. Ps old sami is a legend and still cares remember he built this trailer up back in the day when it wasn't easy at all .respect guys .

Would be nice to receive your entire order, rang to report a missing drink but no one answered. I left a voicemail asking for the drink to be sent out or a refund but nothing. Unlikely to order again. Disappointing as the food is nice, customer service non existent.

I ordered Fries with curry, but it only came plan fries. Plus, the kebab wasn't hot enough.

Food was late, rang restaurant on number through app, no answer. Tried to follow up on the app. Received call advising driver was at the wrong address, when food arrived we sent it back food as it was nearly two hours from ordering. Restaurant called and told us it was late because we changed the delivery address which we didn’t and have received orders at this address at least once a month from Samis. Requested refund and have had no response at all. Very unhappy.

Food was cold instead of Diet Coke just brought coke delivery driver was rude, never again

I wouldn't suggest spending your money here. The lamb and chicken dishes were served cold, and the chicken seemed a bit overcooked. The pita bread was really dry and there wasn't much sauce. Plus, they only accept cash payments.

Sent the wrong food which was cold and overcooked. Food was also late. Only live 5 minutes away. Should have cooked.

Delivered the wrong order. Callled and they re sent. Unfortunately by the time the order arrived. The chips they sent were cold and the order they resent was also cold will really think twice before wasting my money in the future. Such a shame as I’ve ordered lots before. But they really screwed up this time

Never use samis again. They would not take an order over the phone. We have been good customers for over 15 years. Will never use again we love samis, but no no more

Food was over cooked and way too greasy

Chips were dry and rubbery as if old chips and they were cold burger was horrible and very badly done sloppy. My delivery time was between 11.30-12.30 it arrived 10.55 the only thing that was decent was the onion rings, but yet even they were a bit tasteless.

The van left me waiting until possibly the very last minute of the prescribed time. The kebab arrived cold, I asked for salad I got a couple of bits of cucumber and a few tiny strips of lettuce leaf, hardly any chilli sauce, chips were undercooked and soggy. I won’t use this place again that’s for sure.

Sami's is the best, personal favs are the mixed burger and the doner wrap.

Excellent quality meat with a very good amount a large was more than enough for 2 people to share , we ordered 2 large and we both had half left over for lunch tomorrow so was more than satisfied with everything. Would highly recommend

I usually like this place however today I ordered a donnor wrap and they sent me a chicken wrap and I asked for a large fries and it was less than a small and the chips were soggy hope it changes the next time I visit

Amazing flavour and good delivery speed!!

Owners and staff members have been greedy and unfriendly, even to the most loyal customers. I witnessed as a bystander a regular customer of many years being mistreated. I do not recommend supporting such customer service and toxic attitude. I have since received a reply to this review which continues to discredit my views as a customer, despite being fully aware of the context of what happened that evening. It feels like here, the customer is always wrong.

Absolute disgrace. Day light robbery... They are ready to sell their wives for extra p's... Sad to realise so many years later...

I ordered cheesy chips and it just turned up with this congealed cold cheese on top of the chips so when you picked up one can you pick them all up. I ordered the large donna with all of the salad apart from tomato and it just turned up with the peppers on top so no crunchy salad to accommodate the kebab. I think the day Sami’s shop does delivery on JustEat will be the end of this van! You also can’t order garlic sauce and chilli sauce. You can only choose one have to buy the other one!!

Got wicked runs after eating food

So i asked for a burger and asked for my preference of burnt onions. Not a chance the burger was already cooked and the onions were raw so i asked to change it and obviously they had their little chat which I obviously didn't understand but laughing at me was rude. Never again Friends all night long.

Lovely apart from the cokes were missed off the order.

Hardly any salad, could only choose between chilli sauce or garlic sauce, but you can’t have both unless you buy one of them for 50p. The chips were very soggy

They have Watery sauce and next to no sauce, makes sense too the watery I guess red cabbage is old chillies where dry and no juice very poor standard too how it used to be

Always a lovely kebab from these guys! I often stop by the van when I'm on the way home from a gig, so was delighted to see they deliver too! My only minor criticism is they could've put a bit more sauce on. Other than that, absolutely delicious!

We had a small chicken kebab each, I had chilli sauce on mine. Food was fast, good quality and the chilli sauce was excellent. I'd definitely recommend if you're out for the night in abingdon

I love the occasional kebab, and originally hailing from south east London my options were a plenty. The kebabs these guys offer are delicious. They are delivery early (in my experience) wrapped up, hot and ready to devour! Lovely.

Ordered 1 x Donna kebab on chips with bbq sauce and 1 x chicken kebab on chips, Delivered - 2 x chicken kebab, one with chips one without. Quality of the chicken was dry and didn’t even taste like chicken. rubbish.

Everyone recommended this place, so as we have recently moved here we decided to try... unfortunately it wasn't what we expected...

Their wraps are really delicious with a good selection of salad available and the meat is really tasty. The fries arrived still piping hot too, so really pleased!

The quantity of meat has halved in the last month the only thing large was the packaging and the fried onions were not fried So having been a customer for years his will be the last time

Nuggets tasted a little fishy

Haloumi wrap had chilli peppers which we don't like. Chicken burger was like warm at best and chips really tasty but a little soggy. Not as good as the actual shop

First time customer, Delivery was very quick. Lamb kebab was very tasty, sausage and chips very good. All reasonably priced for the portion sizes. Will definitely use again. Thanks guys 👍

2 plastic bags and got charged for one waaaaaayyyyyyyyyy

This is my go to place and normal everything is fantastic. However, today the chips were undercooked and soggy and my ‘cheese’burger with garlic sauce was instead a beef burger with mayo. The other burger we ordered was a beef burger with mayo and that came just as ordered. Just a slight disappointment but won’t stop me from ordering again.
