Costas Coffee in Vale of White Horse

Expensive. I sat inside to drink a coffee and a toasted sandwich, very dirty tables not wiped down chair's the same.

Only stopped off at the drive-through for a coffee, girl that served me friendly and helpful even when busy, credit to the brand.

Efficient, friendly service. Delicious hot chocolate and food at the right temperature.

Disgusting. Tables filthy asked for something to clean one with was given napkins. Booth shelf covered in old drink spills. Serving waitress used the only working toilet with her food serving apron on. We were going to have some to eat but didn’t fancy food contamination . Drink was cool / cold wanted hot drink

Didn’t think. Much of it wanted a cup of tea the boiler was broken and the toilet was out of order so A waste of time

Staff member shouted at my disabled sister for picking up a brownie, then shouted at my mum too after my sister made her pick it up. Took 8 minutes to make 2 drinks when we were the only customers in the store, and tried to apologise with a small cup of marshmallows despite that we said no marshmallows when ordering our hot chocolates, as we are vegetarian.

Staff member openly coughing into her hands then serving customers without washing her hands. You would have thought a global pandemic and multiple ad campaigns might have had a longer term effect on improving hygiene standards, particularly in catering 😷 We left before we ordered. I reported this to Head Office who have apologised and have offered two free coffees, but I’m still scarred from the grimness of it to be honest!

A grim place to have coffee. Awful service. The tables are often filthy, and the food is unappetizing because it looks nothing like other Costa cafes, which may be from improper storage. It all suggests the staff are poorly trained.

Staff members are useless. Jasmine is very rude girl she talks about most customer in a bad way and made a comment about me which I heard but she was scared to tell me to my face. This costa has gone downhill since the previous staff members left.

Nice coffee and pleasant place to meet a friend. Downside is the toilets, one out of order and disabled toilet filthy. I didn't use it . They never look clean seems the same in most costas

We were looking for a place to have a hot drink,we were passing McDonald’s just up the road but then it was too late but we happened to stumble upon here and this was great and in the perfect location so we popped in.Staff were very friendly and looked very clean.

Website says shut at 8, ordered to collect at 7, they took payment and shut at 6. What more can I say..... No coffee

Great Costa, staff are very friendly and the remote ordering system works very well, coffee is always hot and prepared at a perfect balance between speed and quality. Lovely well designed interior and comfy seats. Although it is a chain there is feel of indivduality created by the great staff.

Was not impressed. Plenty of staff but only doing takeaway. The service was poor and the coffee only lukewarm.

The very worst service. 3 workers behind the counter yet only one seemed to know how to make drinks and took 10 minutes to get a tea and coffee when they had noone else to serve! Staff were just generally unfriendly like we were wasting their time. Gives me so much respect for the coffee shops that are actually busy and the staff manage to do their jobs, flash a smile and be polite.

Siobhan the assistant was very rude and not a nice person. This woman should not be serving customers anywhere. The hot chocolate was disgusting too. It was watery with a massive glob of sugary syrup at the bottom. It doesn’t take much to give it a stir when you’re paying over £3 for a drink. Would have done so myself but the point of a drive through is that is arrives in your car ready to drink. Not going back. Terrible.

Not sure where to start as the experience was horrendous. Very slow service, we were served our coffee in a dirty cup - it looked like it hadn’t been washed - when we mentioned this to the barista she looked vacantly at us, took the cup with a tut and replaced it, no apology given. We took our tray to the table, no napkins, I went back to ask for some, I was greeted with another tut and they were heavily handedly put down on the counter. We were meeting friends who had traveled some way so got them a coffee which was served in take away cups as they had no clean cups, this was 10.30am! No reduction in the price. The service was slow, staff rude - one member of staff in particular needs immediate training in costumer service, dirty, as tables had not been cleared. Would definitely not recommend,

I use the Costa coffee shops all over Oxford with normally very good coffee and service. This one is consistently BAD. Bad for slow service to walk in customers. Bad because they give preference to drive in customers. I went in today where there were 4 staff. 1 at the till. The others not making coffee and not directly serving customers. One at the coffee machine staring into space. I walked out.

Nice seating area, predictable quality and price. Safe place to spend 30 minutes or one hour if not tempted by sugary snacks.

Kept clean, good coffee. But Air con always blasting out even when it’s cold. Staff probably don’t feel it as they are working, but customers sitting down experience the full blast of cold air.

Usual Costa experience, nothing special. A bit sad tho that it's in the middle of a carpark - soulless, asphalt everywhere...

Worst customer service I've ever had in any Costa coffee house! The male collegue was slamming drinks and our cake (which ruined the cake because it was in a takeaway bag). You would be better off going to a local petrol station and using Costa express. All the staff were really off but the male collegue in particular looked like he'd rather be at home in his mirror making sure every strand of hair was in place 👎👎.

Very poor my was food on the counter while other people were served not covered or in a bag not acceptable in anytime let alone a pandemic!!!!!!!

Called in for a coffee,which was lovely,sat outside.Used one of the the toilet facilities before we left.Absolutely disgusting,toilet 🤢,bins overflowing and paper on floor,floor wet and slippy.Coffee shop was hardly busy,someone needs to empty bins and clean up!!.This was mid morning!!

Was served by a lovely young man today, the service was great and my hot chocolate was 10/10. Would highly recommend going here! Everyone seems so lovely!!!

Usual Costa quality, but service wasn't very good. It all seemed a little too much hard work for the young lad behind the counter. He needs to work on his customer service skills.....

The girl who is supervisor was hanging around in sunglasses and being very rude to me and other costumers! Absolutely shameless!

Have just been here and was served by Siobhan, customer service was absolutely shocking, she came across very rude, and as I was placing my order she kept ignoring me to talk to her colleague and then asking me to keep repeating myself and rolling her eyes at me. This is the second time I've had a bad experience at this Costa and will not be returning!!

None of the staff wore masks. They said it's not an issue. If they don't do that, how can you trust them to get anything right?

Excellent service on the whole. Drink prepared quickly and tasted good. Didn't need to wait long as went at 6pm. They had a moveable tray mechanism that made it easier to take the drinks and felt Covid safe. Only missing a star as they forgot my chocolate flake that I asked to be put on the side, even after reconfirming my order at the payment/collection booth.

Came to have a coffee, arrived at 18:47 and is closed!? Lights off and employees leaving. Closing time supposed to be at 19h.

Fast and efficient with friendly staff, although 50 per cent more expensive than Costa machines at Shell petrol stations for the same coffee.

Went during the second lockdown. Staff are seriously hostile. No manners with whoever is taking orders and dispatching. Won't be returning here

Service seems a little slow here compared to other Costa drive-Thru.

For what is one of the largest and most trafficked Costa in Oxford, to on a semi regular basis, be out of tuna melt, ham and cheese and bacon and brie paninis, all toasties and hot chocolates begins to get annoying. I would say about 40% of my visits result in my time wasted because they are out of stock because "its been busy" They also often get my order wrong if its more than two items. Then there is one manager who seems to always be passed off at customers for daring to mention they got the order wrong.

Awful attitude from staff, very unfriendly and kept interrupting me in a sarcastic manner while I was placing order. I didn't appreciate having to show the staff my phone screen as proof that I signed into a track and trace app before I could place an order. It's just ridiculous.

Ive used a number of costas and while i agree with track and trace, i have always been asked to fill it in at the table, however today th( i believe spanish barista today)insisted i fill it in before payment if not they couldnt/ wouldnt serve me for dine in

Virtually no apparent attempt at use of environmentally friendly materials or encouraging use of re-useable cups. They encourage drive through as opposed to walking as their car park design and location isn’t pedestrian or cycle friendly. They do use Rainforest Alliance coffee, but you’d thought that a company with the buying power & resources of Coca Cola could do a lot more. Their food products are of a poor quality. The drinks are or a good standard. I wonder about their adherence to social distancing in their kitchen - doesn’t seem room.

Very efficient location. We arrived, ordered, had drinks produced and left within a couple of minutes (inside the shop, not drive thru). Cakes are always top drawer here too, which is a bonus!
