Came in last Sunday for drinks before going for lunch down the road. Popped in at 12 and couldn’t believe the amount of people having roast dinners. You could smell them from outside. They looked lovely so decided to come in and try. We throughly enjoyed our lunch and were pleasantly surprised when asked what dessert we would like as it was included in price! Definitely come back again.

Popped in to see family & tried Broadway's for Sunday lunch, very impressed with the huge Yorkshire puds and roast dinners, plus the pudding was free!

I came here for a Sunday lunch and it was fantastic the meat was succulent and everything else to go with it was good! The price was good as it includes a dessert! I decided to pop back on the following Monday and had the same experience, the food was fantastic and service was really good. Staff are accommodating and efficient. The customers are also really welcoming and friendly to talk to.

Great town pub with a good atmosphere. Staff always friendly & Amy looks after the beer so I always get a good pint. I see the same customers returning for lunch & the food is good value & of a good standard.

Worst pub I’ve been Smells horribel inside and the drinks are not even cold. The glasses are not proper clean. Definitely don’t recommend and have a weird vibe there its just dirty.

After revisiting this pub after a long time I can happy say I won’t be going back ever again, went into this pub for a couple of drinks and got told to leave after a woman wanted to give me her number. It’s a new one to me . But very childish from the bar staff . Over priced drinks, staff that don’t really want to work .

Awful service - Ordered for lunch a panini - it came at 5pm and it was cold smothered in sauce which is not what i ordered. Tasted horrible and wait was just ridiculous

Dropped in for Sunday Lunch. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was OK, for what it was. It's difficult to complain; it is not expensive.

Dj said he had the song I asked for and would play it soon but never did

Very interesting place. Really great pool table but closed off at 10pm on a Friday so they could put a DJ and disco lights on for basically no one..? Can see how it would be a fun place if it was busier, or maybe we were just there too early.

Place is well kept and tidy. Not sure about the food as I didnt have any. But it has a decent reputation dor good food and decent prices.

Not so many old pubs like this left anymore. It was fairly quiet for a Saturday so plenty of space to find a quiet seat. Food offer is quite limited but average prices for a pub. Service was quick and friendly which was good. Main downside was that a dog was sitting at a table. Not good. And smell of Jeyes fluid or similar cleaning material. They serve a decent coffee and the range of drinks is fine. Toilets were clean. There was live TV sports coverage but it didn't predominate and a nice looking pool table. More of a 'lad's pub' than a family location.

Pub in at the top end of town next to Pure Gym. Serves food and drinks. Card payments over £5 or cash taken. Football shown on the TV. Service was quick, although not busy. Local pub for many. Music/disco on some evenings.

A traditional pub with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Fantastic location in the heart of Didcot.

Feels like a run down Wetherspoons. Fine if to you're just after a quick drink and somewhere to sit down but it did feel a bit like somewhere you'd go every day for a while before dying an early alcohol related death. There was some woman on a laptop two tables away who kept making annoyed noises whenever anyone talked which was fairly amusing at first and the drinks weren't terrible.

Grandaughters 18th, been out, good night, then12 of us went to Broadways, some of us reluctantly, and rightly so. Had to show I.D to get in. Myself included at 65 years young! In before 10pm, not needed! So most of us turned away. Son told Cash only! Went to cash point, still turned away. We all left! No wonder its always empty! Avoid!!

had a sunday roast on a monday, was very good beef, all fresh veg, a pint of lager and blackcurrant, and apple crumble and custard all for 9.99 what value for money. friendly staff just perfect recommend any day

Went in for breakfast took 40 mins had clearly forgotten it.. as when arrived it was so overcooked we wrapped it up for dog to have as a chew

Not sure if I chose a bad night or it is always empty but to say it a quarter full would be a stretch. Drinks were average price and service wasn’t bad. As a late night venue it seems like the only one around. The security was a bit much, scanning ID cards seems over zealous and intrusive. They did do some pitchers that were very nice though.

Everyone needs to visit this place at least once in their life. The staff are friendly And the atmosphere.

Go to this pub quite often and it is always a great time the staff are lovely and always welcoming. Customers are always up for a laugh along with the staff never had a bad experience being there.

I was happy that I came across this lovely pub on my travels. It has really nice clean toilets and lovely staff. The Roast dinner was amazing! I highly recommend that you try the Rhubarb crumble mmmmmmm……… The atmosphere here was spot on . There was Lots of banter going on. Funny.

I went there with a few friends. New managers have been put in place and the place is brilliant. 100% better atmosphere and all round vibe. The food was great as well as the bar service. 10/10 improvement will definitely visit again.

I visited Broadways last weekend for the first time since pre-lockdown, its had a well needed makeover and the new manageress is clearly very dedicated to her job which was lovely to see. My family and I all enjoyed our Sunday Roasts- plenty of good food and piping hot! Brilliant selection of drinks- my partners new favourite is the Jaffa Cake Rum! Will be organising another visit soon ☺️

Cheap friendly and amazing food.

I started going in every Saturday fortnight about 18 months ago. I drive a friend to Didcot to see her children. This pub was recommended as my type of place. I like the ambiance, the music and the food. I had realised that somehow I wasn't welcome but I don't know why. I usually had a breakfast but a few weeks ago I asked for a menu. This week I asked for a menu and was told it was on the board in another part of the bar. Fine. But the only thing on the board was the OAP meal of the day. I ignored it and ordered something I remembered from seeing the menu. I later went to the bar to buy another drink and the lady sat on the stool next to me had been allowed a menu. I will comply with the landlady's obvious wishes and not darken her door again.

OK place for a quick lunch food is OK some staff are really helpful but there are a few that don't seem to know what to do or how to work the tills and coffee machine either

The most average night I’ve had for a while. Great pub but someone decided to defecate into my pint glass whilst I was having a scrap round the back. Unfortunate but these things happen. It is what it is. I’m glad I don’t live in didcot because the only night out other than this is a Sainsbury’s night shift. Oh well. Will probably visit again to see my frien Jeol.

Worst place we have ever eaten with staff that consider customers a nuisance! kitchen consists of several microwaves,deep fryer,a hot plate and a dog. We ordered a vegi burger and a sirloin and they were cooked side by side.We know as the kitchen door was open to allow the dog access in case it was running riot in the bar area. The tables were filthy like the customers who spoke their minds, the staff were non existent if you had a request, and the manager was more interested in the fruit machine than dealing with our compaint.

Went for the pub quiz had a good night. Ate there, the food was nice. Bar is a bit expensive, £4.20 for a Coors Light. £2.15 for a diet coke.

Not been to Didcot for some time, golly hasn't it changed. We were going too the Ciniworld cinema ewe were looking for somewhere to have a bit of lunch. We came across this public house, looks ok from outside but really needs a complete makeover inside, we found a a bit dated and just a Mish mash of seating, it was also really very cold inside. On the upside the panini's we ordered were edible but not as hot as I would like . Reasonably priced drinks and friendly staff Would probably try somewhere different next time..

People are very lively and conversations flow like a water fall without a hitch or argue as everyone is there to have fun and watch games or play games fun place to be and many selections to chose from on the menu.

Although it's a pub, it had a very poor selection of decent soft drinks. Although, my husband 's pint of London Pride was exceptionally good.

We eat here a lot today we were very disappointed the lamb was tough roast potatoes were hard and dry for dessert i had the toffee cheesecake which was very nice but I had to ask for a bit more on my plate because the piece I was given was that small it fitted on spoon with room to spare

Great food through the day and great staff.. The only late licence venue in the town, good for ending your night with some cheesie tunes, if you can ignore the chosen few idiots trying to spoil it. Overall I'd recommend it.

I haven't been into Broadways for years but I would definitely say it has improved. However as a cider drinker, Strongbow and lots of bottled fruity things aren't my thing. That's my opinion of course. The outside seating area has been extended, much, much nicer than it used to be!

At the head of the gateway to the Didcot shopping mall, the Broadways occupies the prime location to be a cracking foodie pub instead of a crackheads and welfare warrior pub. Serves lovely food if you dig deeper and pours a nice pint in a seedy, run down, couldn’t care less establishment. It could be so much more. A gold mine for all rather than a gold mine from the welfare lot that seem to frequent it! Such a shame with phase 2 being built it could’ve been the top dog in town. Instead, it needs pulling down and redeveloping along with the rest of lower Broadway. Some would say along with all of the whole of the Broadway.

Terrible customer service. Took my pint after me asking them to look after it when I went to the toilet and then refused to give it back. Always a bad atmosphere there and full of trouble. Definitely one of the worst pubs I've ever visited. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I can't understand the bad reviews on this pub.. It's a community pub after all and the food is exceptional value for money. . £6.45 for a 2course Sunday lunch is unbelievable value.. Food was cooked nicely with a great selection of vegetables.. Called on the off chance and was not disappointed..

My girlfriends bag and coat were stolen and the sia guards banned us for reporting the incident...

Been going to the Broadway for years. And it must be one of the best Roasts around. My mum goes pretty much every Sunday. Took her this week as i was visiting over the weekend. Great value. Only £6.45 for a small dinner. We both had lamb. Which came piping hot with lush gravy and a fantastic selection of vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. Followed by a hot dessert. The inside of the pub looks a bit dreary but dont be put off. Great beer selection with some guest beers. Never had a bad meal.

Otro sitio de la zona puede una persona mayor una comida de calidad, incluyendo postre por debajo de un fiver? Las comidas ofrecidas son variadas senior durante la semana y son de buena calidad. Las porciones son generosas, bien cocinada y presentada, con al menos cuatro verduras frescas con la mayoría de las comidas. . El personal es siempre muy agradable, servicial y el servicio es rápido. Las alfombras pueden ser gastados y descolorido, pero personalmente. . . No comer en el suelo! !

this pub is central to town and amenities.its friendly and the food is simple tasty and value for money.the sunday lunch is good and lots of pensioners enjoy the social aspect of this.its a pub not a restaurant but could do with makeover ie the toilets mainly.it is disabled friendly.

This is a nice pub to be able to sit outside of in the summer and enjoy a beer. they have some good real ales on tap at a good price and the staff are friendly and polite.

Only place in Didcot that is open past midnight, drinks are a bit pricey but you don't really notice until the next morning!

Dirty. Stale smelling. Staff are one step out of a coma. Bad record of violence. A rotten atmosphere and almost anything you buy will be a bitter disappointment unless you want to get horribly and mindlessly drunk.

What a miserable place! I can't believe that I paid to enter it. Drinks expensive, bar dirty and sticky, and bar staff rude. I asked for a vodka and coke to filled to the top of glass and was told it was an extra 50p. Really? For a small drop of diet coke from a soda fountain! Great job on customer relations there, snotty bar person. Just glad I don't live in Didcot as think i'd rather stay on my own with the cat if this is what passes as being a 'nightclub'!

Really good. I haven't had a meal there before, but will probably endeavour to have some in future. It is a good venue for Karaoke, which is, lately, one of the reasons I'm there.

Great local pub, friendly staff. Good quality food available at lunchtimes. Welcoming to families during the day x
