The best restaurants in Vale of White Horse South East

Very nice owner, lovely communication and attitude despite it being late, very good food for very good price,, recommended to me by a freind and would recommend to others.

TOMAN TU DINERO Y NO ENTREGAS ALIMENTOS. Se pidió comida a las 7:20, se supone que llegará a las 8:15. 8: 30 viene y no hay comida. Los llamamos y los llamamos, pero la línea está constantemente ocupada. Finalmente llegamos y nos dicen que está listo para la entrega. Pasan otros 15 minutos, son las 9 pm y aún nada. Los llamamos y dicen que nunca recibieron nuestro pedido (a pesar de que nos dijeron que estaba en camino hace 15 minutos). Verificamos con el banco y ellos tomaron 43, así que le dijimos a Ho Ho Kitchen esto y dijeron que no podían comunicarse con la compañía que procesa sus pedidos en línea y dijeron que tendríamos que solucionarlo con esta empresa aleatoria que usan para sus órdenes y luego me colgaron. Así que se llevaron nuestro dinero, nos hicieron esperar 2 horas por comida que nunca llegó y luego nos colgaron. A menos que te guste estar hambriento y te roben, no les pidas nada.

I asked for a breakfast, a cappuccino and a sausage sandwich. The server said you mean a bap, I said if that is what you call it in this area then yes. (I note Greggs advertise it as a roll not a bap but I said sandwich so I didn’t get a pastry sausage roll) The sandwich/bap/roll came but no coffee. I queried and a member of staff was brought out of the back. The server stated “she did not tell me she wanted a coffee”. I pointed out that I did but the server was clearly not going to accept that. I could see this had the potential to be a long discussion so I left. Very poor customer service.

Nice enough when it's open, but we visited at 08:35 today and it was still closed. Even 08:30 is too late for breakfast in my opinion (don't they want the custom of people with jobs?) but they can't even be bothered to open on time anyway.

Had a Sunday lunch for 2, my wife had previously been and rated this village pub part of the Greene King group. In a way the pub is traditional with a bar, restaurant layout but with a COVID canopy with booth style tables. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The draught beer on offer was a Greene King summer brew and a guest ale from Hardy & Hansons, Old Trip. Very reasonably priced at £4.80. We both had a roast, I had beef and my wife pork. My beef was plentiful but a little chewy but wife’s pork was good. The roast potatoes were very good and the vegetables were plentiful if a little soggy. There was a good sweet selection I had the apple pie with custard which was alright. I don’t know why there haven’t been any recent reviews but based on this visit I won’t be rushing back, sorry.

Awful useless security systems. Doing self scan and had to do a bag check then once that was done my trolley locked up at the exit.

I ate here for the first time recently for lunch and the food was great. I have the beer battered haddock finger sandwich on ciabatta bread. The staff were friendly. However, the service was a bit slow.

Delivery guy was great, called before delivering. Food was hot and cooked well. also, enjoyed the capability of ordering sauces and salad items separately which, some of the other kebab providers don't have set up like Posh Nosh.

Been a loyal customer for over two years now , the past 3 months have gone down hill ! Customer service has really lowered it’s almost like they don’t care ahh more ! Safe to say i no longer will use me pizza wantage

Lots of variation and good prices

It’s a great place for real coffee. Sometimes you might need to tell the barista to make your coffee better. Once I had to return my coffee. Overall, it’s a lovely place but the owner should continuously train the baristas. But still it is the best Costa coffee shop I have ever visited.

The worst windows etancheity i've ever seen. You feel the cold at 2 meter from the windows. The highway is in your room, you can hear it all night. They didn't lock my door after cleaning. It takes 15-30min to have cook 1 egg each morning.
