Marcopolo Bakery & Café in Vale of White Horse

Nice enough when it's open, but we visited at 08:35 today and it was still closed. Even 08:30 is too late for breakfast in my opinion (don't they want the custom of people with jobs?) but they can't even be bothered to open on time anyway.

With the bakery situated a short distance away, this little gem of a cafe serves excellent food with bread etc made just up the road. Friendly bunch of staff Eat in or take out Also a stock of locally milled flours to purchase.

Lovely lunch in this small cafe. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Varied menu with the added bonus of their delicious freshly baked bread on tap. Highly recommend small baker’s breakfast, and mozzarella, rocket and tomato toasted sandwich.
