Chose the Big Tasty with Bacon and that lived up to the name and was hot, fresh and had a good taste. The fries, sadly, were soggy, tasteless and a waste of time. Lukewarm and limp, the lot of them. It isn't that difficult to provide fresh, crisp chips every time, surely. I bet mine had been sitting under the light for 10 to 15 minutes being kept warm before being served.

Yet another day without mcflurries or milkshakes. I wanted each on Thursday evening and again today, but my grandchildren were very unhappy that they were not serving either of them This doesn’t seem to be an occasional occurrence as it seems to be quite regularly

We usually have no problems with this restaurant. But today we ordered from the app for the first time and collected it from the drive thru. Before we left the car park my daughter noticed a box of nuggets was missing. I parked up and went inside with my receipt where a very nice and polite assistant, whose name was Will helped me. He went to tell his manager that the nuggets had been missed from the order. I did not catch what the manager said to him but he came back and asked how many nuggets were on the order. A reasonable question as I think there are boxes of 6 and 20. When he went back to the manager (whose name I could not see but he was of large build with dark curly hair) the manager said in a very loud voice so customers waiting could hear, in an obnoxious tone "you did not have to ask her that, just look at the receipt." He waved the receipt in the air very dramatically whilst saying it. Typical bullying, intimidation and bad management in the workplace. Totally unprofessional for a manager to speak to one of his staff that way and so that everyone could hear. On the drive home we realised a blueberry muffin and a banana milkshake were missed off the order too. But I couldn't be bothered to turn around and go back. But is it any wonder mistakes were made if this manager spoke to all staff like he did to Will? Their nerves must be in shreds. I hope all the managers are not like this awful man and treat the staff with respect. And in future we will check our order before we leave the carpark.

Made a mistake on order. When I called was asked for receipt. Couldn’t find it but manager found the receipt on till after 10 mins. Said order was correct their end, I explained order was read from a WhatsApp message at drive through and so input wrong their end. Basically we may have paid for what we got but was not what we asked for. Usually at the till you should see your order but was not on display so no way of noticing this. Manager said would give burger free but need proof of purchase. Pointed out can’t find this and why he had to find order on till. Annoyed because we order here every Friday and hardly trying to pull some cunning con for a missing burger patty. In the past when there has been a mistake with an order never been asked for a receipt. Asked could he not print a copy of receipt, they don’t have a printer, asked could he not write details from the receipt down, Said he is unable to do that…? Maybe they don’t have a pen and paper. I know I’m making a fuss offer something small but just felt like he was calling me a liar and deliberately making things awkward. Won’t be going back to Watchfield McDonalds.

Ever since the younger generation started working here it has gone down hill, chips are rock hard no salt what so ever and stone cold, the burgers are missed placed that isn’t even edible i have to take the burger apart to put it back in place. Keep forgetting orders while going thru the drive thru and having to come back to get missing orders.

Run by children who like to laugh when they take orders only to find the order is wrong, when asked to correct we ended up paying for more than we ordered. Every time u visit the service is appalling to say the least. We asked for our order to reflect what we ordered but it wasn’t adhered to. We were told they had the order correct, the screen was wrong and to ignore. Not sure if this branch is targeted on their drive through times but it would seem not with the amount of time you sit and wait. When we asked for a manager name we were met with laughter and someone came but I can only describe them as not management material as she also laughed when we advised of the issue we experienced. The member of staff offered no apology for their lack of service and basically went to shut the window on us, when I asked for our drinks she offered me the wrong ones! Stupidity at its finest! She handed me the correct drinks and said I don’t appreciate being spoken to like this and shut the window. McDonald’s need to re access/ audit this branch for their customer service and management IMMEDIATELY!

This Macdonalds is ‘out of this World’ Always love visiting this place ❤️ Speedy service, staff are polite, friendly & speak clearly, food is piping hot & absolutely delicious (Chips fresh, cheeseburger loaded, coffee hot), order always correct & parking is easy. I’d go as far as to say that I would travel further & sometimes go out of my way just to visit this Restaurant. This is the one place that has got EVERYTHING SPOT ON! There are few establishments around that are this standard. Thank you thank you thank you to the whole Watchfield Macdonalds Team & amazing management. Yet again the ordering points failed to print a reciept and they flash your order number too quickly depsite being ready with my phone to capture the number knowing how unreliable they are. The I get home to discover half the order is incorrect - which without a receipt is difficult to do anything about. The service at this outlet is shoddy and I receomend it is avoided at all costs.

Ordered food on the app and waited at the table for it to come. Arrived quickly and was greeted nicely by the staff member. They even offered colouring page and crayons for the girl to use whilst here. Very polite and helpful staff, nice and clean.

Used the MacDonalds app as had a “spend £15 get £5 off” voucher. Put my order in but app would not let me check in. Went to the till and the manager (no name tag on) spent 5 mins trying to get order to work. He then informed me that the £5 offer was an app offer and not transferable. Had to strongly insist he took £5 off my order as not my fault. Was made to feel like I was being an inconvenience and that the £5.50 something pence (2 happy meals) I was given was not deserved. Honestly for the hassle I would of given more off no questions asked in his situation.

Shocking. Orders always wrong. Every time something is missing. Slow down and get orders right, not really that hard is it?????? Unbelievably bad service.

After already having an incident once this year where I had ordered a Veggie Delux burger, it came in a Veggie Delux box, however it had a CHICKEN burger inside. This is morally incorrect and distressing to a vegetarian. For a SECOND time, in my visit today, I ordered a Veggie burger, however it had CHICKEN inside it AGAIN. This could have been life threatening if I had an allergy to chicken. When I returned to McDonald’s with this wrap, it was replaced with a Veggie Wrap, however it was not refunded. I am highly disappointed and anyone with a life threatening allergy should not visit McDonald’s. They offer a vegetarian option, however fail to provide this and it is a severe risk to anyone with an allergy and very distressing to any vegetarian.

No different from any other Maccy-D.... The last stop before gastronomic oblivion! If this is what you want: you will absolutely get it!

As far as McDonald's go you are pretty much guaranteed consistency wherever you go. The only distinguishing thing is the location, interior and staff. This is a very busy location located on the main Oxford to Swindon road. The car park has a tendency to fill up very quickly to the point of becoming gridlocked. The interior was clean and bright, the service was very good. At the end of the day it is a very predictable McDonald's and that is how it should be.

Dan who was in the main till is a real assist. Very friendly and professional - attentive and efficient. We had a great experience here. Service and food was great.

Had lunch here on a Friday with 3 children aged 3 & under & was very surprised how clean & welcoming it was. Our order was brought to the table very quickly & everything was correct. They had colouring pictures for the children plus a lady came round with balloons. Very nice restaurant will definitely visit here again.

I visited this store at 1845 on Friday 12th October there was a lot of customers waiting for food but there was no queue at the counter so I waited to be served untill 1849 no member of staff came ro serve and left the premises with my cash in my pocket.Not everyone wants to pay card and enter their own order. It's not good enough having no staff.

Stopped off on the way to Oxford. There was an automated ordering system, which unfortunately did not work, so we placed an order at the counter. The staff were helpful and the place was clean. Just another McDonalds.

Order just a Cappuccino to drink in from the automated order point for table service and sat in the d signaled ‘zone’ 15 minutes later had to go to ask where my drink was. Handed my drink no apology. Not busy so poor service and no thought for the customer, I know it’s fast food but really need to up their game.

Great stop off point for that coffee and snack whilst travelling. Service was good, however compared to other branches, the coffee was very bitter, suggesting it was brewed much earlier.

Clean to eat in, drive through very quick, food always hot. Staff very polite and happy. Should they have to park you they don't seem to take long to bring your food out. Nice area outside to eat with nice picnic tables and umbrella ( weather dependant). .Grass area to walk your dog

Visited as a drive through when travelling down to wales . Well organised fast order with all the normal trimmings .

Stopped here on a LONG journey with my daughter ... the food was fresh the staff were so friendly and helpful , they even asked us if we want sauce 😊

Popped in with my children. Car park seems inadequate for the volume of customers. Service was nothing special at all.

No surprises here, all pretty standard with busy, efficient staff and clean loos. Large latte is £2.29, a small detail, however, at my local McDonalds 'up north' it is only £1.79?

We popped in for a mcflurry, very clean through the building and good customer service. Mcflurry was one of the best I have had from a macdonalds.

Stopped here on way home with my baby 5 year old son and my disabled father in law, we were served quickly and by an enthusiastic member of staff which quickly offered to take my food over to the table we were sat before me requesting someone to carry our stuff

Called in here for dessert after a meal out. Quickly served through the drive-through and good service. Good value ice cream.

Convenient to the A420, easy parking. This McDonald's was quick to serve and delivered to table when order was ready. Food was up to usual McDonald's standard. Staff friendly and helpful.

This McDonalds is conveniently situated just of a roundabout on the A420 at Watchfield. As someone that travels a lot, I have had many McDonalds on the move. Nothing worse than getting 3 miles down the road too find your chips are cold and taste like cardboard because they have been standing too long.This McDonalds is one of the better ones. Food has always been hot and fresh.

Popped in on Sunday morning for breakfast. Was served promptly and the mcmuffins were hot and tasty. Plenty of parking and friendly staff.Ideally located just off the A420.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this McDonald's. So much so I sent a complaint in about it, of course I got no response from them. The food is exactly what you would expect. The staff are weaker than most.

Good quality food for breakfast. Saturday morning and wasn't really busy (one in front on the drivethrough) but it was a bit slow.

Stopped here as we were driving by and noticed it by chance - having just said 'I really fancy a McDonalds'.Very quickly served and good quality as expected. Always seems quite busy and the car park isn't as big as some.

Did a little shopping in Swindon and stopped here as its a lot better than the one in Greenbridge. Always find it clean and service is usually quick.

The food here is invariably hot, you do have to wait a while sometimes as it gets rather busy, but to be fair the food is usually good (it is only McDonalds food!)The staff seem rather friendly, and the lady that does the tidying round and cleaning is super nice, very smily!I wouldn't hesitate to use this McDonalds like i would some others.

Good drive in space and the ambience is worth special mention. The place is not crowded and one can have a leisurely lunch on way to Swindon or Oxford.

As a local I use it often when I fancy a breakfast or coffee on the go or just a quick treat with the family.As said by others, this is one of the best McD's I visit. Friendly, fast and efficient is all I can say. Thanks.

Use it regularly. Staff very attentive and quick. Cleanliness is superb. Slight cock up on order sorted quietly, quickly and with out fuss. No problem. Excellent location, and never ever rushed to be moved out when using wi-fi, to make room for more customers. Thank you Watchfield McDonalds, you are a flag bearer for an often maligned business.

Ordered two 1955 burgers, one with wedges. Now, I'm aware the wedges are specially cooked most of the time and I'd have to wait but I didn't expect that the burgers wouldn't be done until after the wedges and the other burgers cooked in the meantime were taken by others that ordered later, meaning that we have to wait some time for all of our order to be ready.When we opened the burgers, it seems they had been thrown together and weren't that tasty either. Not our best experience at McDs.

Just like every other McDs, but with friendlier staff. Often busy due to its location and the carpark is often full of trucks. They obviously prioritise the drive through over 'walk-ins' as you can be left there for quite a while if it's busy outside.

It was much cheaper to eat at McDonalds than the Hotel Restaurant. Very Close to Budget Hotel Campanile.

Can get busy because it's one of the few spaces to stop on the A420 to Swindon but always been served quickly and without any problem. Space in the car park can be an issue at peak times but moves through quite swiftly like most places.Always seems clean and tidy as well. There's also a nice bit of grass around the edge to walk the dog when stopped.
