McDonald's in Vale of White Horse

Ordered a large lunch order for collection for a group of us. Collected and went on our way. When we came to eat it items missing so incomplete meal deals. Burgers had items in which we had removed and not what we added and paid for, so basically, bog standard, not the extras we paid for. Milkshake had no flavour at all, just a cup of ice cream. Mcflurrys had very little malteasers, just about 1 crushed on the top. Not in the area to go back. Tried calling, but the line is constantly engaged. Will not be visiting for a long time. You shouldn't need to check it's all correct before leaving. Very poor.

Bafflingly they won’t serve you food after midnight unless you’re in a car?? Utterly dystopian. This isn’t America.

My children are found of this pleasance and saw the best that I can't deny about you guys. Please keep up the excellent work.

Seriously shouldn't be called fast food, we waited 15 minutes for our food for it to arrive cold, milkshake was watery, ketchup was watery, chips were unsalted and this is what it is like when it's quite so I'd hate to see what it's like when busy, the kitchen staff shuffling their feet about like they'd rather be elsewhere, only good thing to say was the nice old lady upstairs who worked up there cleaning was lovely and friendly with the kids

Food was great, it came in a matter of minutes. Staff were great especially Liam and Henry. They had some great banter made sure there was ice in my fanta. Big Mac was top tier, the sauce was nicer than usual.

Every single time we come here or order from here there's a problem with the food. Once we had an entire meal missing from a delivery order. This time my partner had pancakes that were rock hard. Sent it back and they bought out a new meal but with all the extras missing. My bacon flatbread also rock hard and disgusting. Absolutely awful complete joke

Fast food ceased to be fast. 15 minutes sat in the drive through after ordering for a simple breakfast order. Not an isolated occurrence either.

Young and energetic staff. Enjoy coming here although not many options for Halal food.

Food was cold, dry, and over cooked.

Last night I ordered a stormzy chicken burger and large fries and I got home to eat it and by the time I was finished eating it I been up all night vomitting..even this morning I’m sick to my stomach

Ask for two mcflurries and had no topping what so ever. They always seem to get orders wrong or mixed up.

Went in for a .£139 mayo chicken burger and after 15 minutes of waiting gave up on the order and left it shouldn’t take 15 minutes for one small burger

Poor quality of the drive thru equipment could hardly hear the employe, it was also hard to understand the strong European accent of the member of staff. Poor signs also not displaying the menu which ended up with me not getting what I wanted and mcfail losing money.

Bad customer service - manager would not honour wrap of the day price for another wrap as they were out of the sauce for the current wrap of the day.... Wasted lunch break for no food. Not paying more than double the price when they are out of stock

They get your order right a moderate number of times.

Just left the drive through after ordering a black coffee and double espresso. I heard the two servers talking and the one by the window say is this the right coffee. He said yes, I then ask is that a black and bothe said yes. It was a milky coffee when I got in, second time its happened. Also waiting for ever to be get stuff.. London road Headington much better. Shame the worse one I've ever been too is the closest

i ordered 2 things at 10 am, they didn’t get arrive till 12. i tried to call customer service but there number online may aswell not be there (they won’t pick up) i called about 15 times becusse i have work and can’t wait 2 hours for overpriced delivery food. my breakfast was freezing cold aswell to top everything off. honestly the worst mcdonald’s ever

If you want to park here and eat in, beware! I had to walk through a dark cat park with no pedestrian walkway to get in

No matter if you get it delivered via uber eats, they ALWAYS get it wrong. Either the driver gives you someone elses order or you get your order with the correct receipt stapled on the bag BUT items will be missing inside ALWAYS! You use the drive thru and the same thing happens 9 out 10 items NOT packed or checked!!! Just went to the drive thru with fear... ordered the smallest order ever, happy meal and extra fries... presented happy meal but no extra fries, the person that hands the food over asked to see the receipt..the PACKER IS NAMED JAMES he is the most incompetent person in this branch! Happy meal & extra fries! HOW do you get that wrong? One job to do! ffs... ALWAYS something missing when coming here... incompetent. Next time i will order just fries and bet you they give me an empty brown bag of air... honestly

New drive thru should improve service, I do see a little conflict with the traffic leaving the car park and entering the drive thru.

Members of the family have ordered twice in 2 weeks, both occasions food missing out of order and food stone cold. Abingdon really needs another contender in the town to kick their arses. Certainly won't be using them again

I've order food from here twice this week and been given the wrong orders once I went through drive thru and had to drive back again to get the correct meal and the other time on uber eats I was given the wrong food again, it's the most convenient place to get food but it's frustrating not getting what u pay for or order most of the time the bags have the correct labels but wrong order inside so needs checking before they leave store to stop this from continuing to happen.

Faultless! Thank you so much for a great service, great & clean environment, and grrrreat tasty food!! My partner & I both love the Plant based burger meal with a hot chocolate 😋 We live in Oxford but when we are visiting family or over this way pop in. Tonight it was half ten in evening at least but the service was top notch & food lovely and hot. We tried the cheese bites too which were yummy. Keep up the great work 👍 THANKU x

My sister RECEIVED SOMEONE ELSES ORDER. Not happy she thought to give them one more chance to see if they could get her order right. The receipt was correct but had someone else’s food in the bag instead of hers. Not the drivers fault at all. So frustrating. Ordered for delivery due to not being able to come into the store so for obvious reasons can’t take the order back.

In this Macdonalds almost always there are missing items in the orders requested, with delivery being the worst option, always missing items.

Quite often sold out on items I want to buy (desserts, iced drinks) but lovely to have a coffee and porridge in the morning!

Stopped and ordered by app in the ar park and the food was brought out fast and all was correct and hot

I mean it's mcdonalds, you don't go in for 5 star dinning. Drive through people are hit and miss sometimes not great other times really good. The food is as quick as maccys gets and usually warm. It's mcdonalds, you get what you expect

Had the most appalling experience at breakfast today at this location and ended up with one of the servers shouting and arguing with a couple who had asked for a table to be wiped as it had spilt orange juice on. This went on across the whole resturant. Several diners asked her to be quiet and we were then accused of being racist, the manager then became involved and asked the member of staff to go to the back, she then started arguing with the manager and accusing us of being liars. Undoubtedly the worst attitude I have ever experienced

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Ordered food for my kids at half 7. Food turned up at 9pm STONE cold. I'm not exaggerating, I mean it feels like it's been stored in a fridge. I cannot recommend this enough. DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM THIS RESTAURANT

Used for a drive thru recently. My order was slightly incorrect, asked for no ice but was given ice. Not a massive problem. Gets very busy but the queue kept moving. Disappointed by the ever-changing menu these days. Always an overpriced special burger which is underwhelming. Chips and nuggets delicious as always.

Falsely accused of stealing food by the horrendous excuse for a manager Tom and his counterpart Alan. Thankfully, staff member Josh bravely confirmed Tom was wrong and that he never delivered any food to my car, and showed the food went to wrong car park bag due to a ticketing issue made by their staff. Tom was forced to apologise, (begrudgingly) and then handed me the same order that was made ten minutes ago and left under a heat lamp. When I asked for a fresh order, he told me the bag was warm. You’ve just wrongly accused me of stealing in front of other customers and now won’t even make me a fresh order? Surely that’s the least you would do?! Disgusting. Nothing but a false apology and a shrug. One hour to get a stale order and be falsely accused of stealing in front of other customers. ****Special shoutout to Josh! It would have been much easier to back up his fellow staff members and keep it as my word against their’s. It was very brave of him to tell the truth and confirm his manager Tom and Alan’s horrendous false accusation, made on the back of what they later confessed to be unclear CCTV. Please note the rating has no reflection on you and I’m sorry your fellow staff members let you down.

Food was ok, clearly fresh. Staff were great, took my rubbish straight away with a smile. But the parking was awful. Massive lorry blocking the exit, so had to wait in the drive through queue to park, it was also blocking loads of spaces so couldn't park. No spaces, so tried to park in the disabled bays with my blue badge, but both taken up by people no no badges. Just not great.

My friend and I went here the other day. We got told to wait for our food in the car park. We spent 20 minutes waiting and the fries and burger were rock hard. Disgusting. We’re never coming here again!

Standard experience. Drive through service can be improved further. Be aware that the display screens show incorrect counts, but the service personnel do assure that the price shown is correct! Their ice-cream 🍦 machine is broke for a while, no McFlurrys. 😒 hope someone is watching this message

Clean facilities, fairly fast service although the drive through seem to get priority. Good parking on site but little in the way of a pedestrian route from the car park. The breakfast McMuffin has shrunk to what they used to be. Always enjoy their coffee

This McDonald's used to be pretty decent. Not now. The food is consistently undercooked (fries, muffins) and the grease on the floors is disgusting. Just had breakfast here and the whole time my kids were eating, the cleaner was chatting to a friend.

Noticed today that I've added a beer bar and a McDonald's to my favourite places..... I guess I need to make some changes in my life😅 And if I'm not joking, I didn't like the fact that the place was somehow dirty. But maybe they just didn't have time to clean it up.

Its a fast food place that does what they do all day every day. Not the greatest of starts as they did not know if any discounts could be given for Blue Light or Defence discount, took 3 people to decide...no they dont! Staff not very happy and service was not that great. Food was Ok but not worth the cost! I doubt they even care tbh.

Standard macdonalds, when we went the drive thru was really difficult to use as they couldn't hear us.

Staff a bit grumpy but it was hot, hence my mcflurry had melted before I even got it. Also only ice cream as they had run out of malteser topping

Ordered wrap of the day, crispy chicken but got grilled for the 3rd visit, not much salad and had a tiny bit of the sauce, very disappointing

We found food always piping hot during our eat in. The lady attending the table and removing litter is fantastic and attentive. You cannot find a dirty table for more than 2 minute! Seems that they have a great team work going on there!

Plenty of parking available and staff were very nice and friendly.

I have just had a home delivery of chips and two bacon cheeseburgers, and it was all freezing cold!!!! Sunday 28th. I am not happy and would like you to deliver my order again and I want it HOT As soon as possible. I'm hungry.

Often stop by at this McDonalds when out and about as we find that for the area it is one of the more consistent branches for quality and service, have not had to wait too long for orders and often find that the fries are nice and hot. Actively see them cleaning in the branch which again is less common that one would hope.

Really slow drive thru, lots of pauses taking orders. 1st window guy on drive thru courteous and pleasant. Once payment made, sat there a good 10 mins before getting to 2nd window where guy just gives a blank look, no apology, not even any verbal response at all. And what happened to the old days with double folding the bag? Now they just chuck the bag at you open! At least the food was OK though!

Tiny restaurant with little space and around 12 parking spaces but kept reasonably well. Chicken salad was nice but lettuce could be fresher.. The ordering screen I used had no receipt paper.

The worst McDonald's in Oxfordshire, they never have any Milkshakes or Ice Cream. You make a complaint and they have an excuse that the machine is broken however when it is every week for months on end it becomes apparent that they just can't be bothered to clean the machine! Avoid and go elsewhere!

For weeks now the abingdon branch has had no milkshakes and apparently the machine is broken ! Who ever owns the franchise to this branch should be ashamed the owner needs to sort this out now!! The staff are amazing but i feel sorry for them keep having to apologise for something that is out of their hands!!

Came to collect breakfast on the way to Southampton. Everything we ordered was given which doesn’t always happen with McDonald’s. We did car collection and didn’t take long.

No receipt paper so didn't know my number, food was thrown together and to top it off my reward code wasn't adding the discount

Food was nice. However, the food was poorly constructed. The ingredients were nice though. Service was fast. 3 1/2 minutes. Screaming children and rowdy teenagers, however this is difficult to manage. 3 1/2 stars. Rounded to 4.

couldn’t organise a burger in a burger restaurant. had over a 5 minute wait for a single breakfast bun at 9 am. pathetic
