Usual McDonald's always enjoy my cheesy bacon flatbread

Members of the family have ordered twice in 2 weeks, both occasions food missing out of order and food stone cold. Abingdon really needs another contender in the town to kick their arses. Certainly won't be using them again

I've order food from here twice this week and been given the wrong orders once I went through drive thru and had to drive back again to get the correct meal and the other time on uber eats I was given the wrong food again, it's the most convenient place to get food but it's frustrating not getting what u pay for or order most of the time the bags have the correct labels but wrong order inside so needs checking before they leave store to stop this from continuing to happen.

Faultless! Thank you so much for a great service, great & clean environment, and grrrreat tasty food!! My partner & I both love the Plant based burger meal with a hot chocolate 😋 We live in Oxford but when we are visiting family or over this way pop in. Tonight it was half ten in evening at least but the service was top notch & food lovely and hot. We tried the cheese bites too which were yummy. Keep up the great work 👍 THANKU x

My sister RECEIVED SOMEONE ELSES ORDER. Not happy she thought to give them one more chance to see if they could get her order right. The receipt was correct but had someone else’s food in the bag instead of hers. Not the drivers fault at all. So frustrating. Ordered for delivery due to not being able to come into the store so for obvious reasons can’t take the order back.

In this Macdonalds almost always there are missing items in the orders requested, with delivery being the worst option, always missing items.

Quite often sold out on items I want to buy (desserts, iced drinks) but lovely to have a coffee and porridge in the morning!

Stopped and ordered by app in the ar park and the food was brought out fast and all was correct and hot

I mean it's mcdonalds, you don't go in for 5 star dinning. Drive through people are hit and miss sometimes not great other times really good. The food is as quick as maccys gets and usually warm. It's mcdonalds, you get what you expect

Had the drive through so can't really score the atmosphere, but the food was great and fast friendly service

Had the most appalling experience at breakfast today at this location and ended up with one of the servers shouting and arguing with a couple who had asked for a table to be wiped as it had spilt orange juice on. This went on across the whole resturant. Several diners asked her to be quiet and we were then accused of being racist, the manager then became involved and asked the member of staff to go to the back, she then started arguing with the manager and accusing us of being liars. Undoubtedly the worst attitude I have ever experienced

Driving within the carpark here is a nightmare. poorly designed

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Ordered food for my kids at half 7. Food turned up at 9pm STONE cold. I'm not exaggerating, I mean it feels like it's been stored in a fridge. I cannot recommend this enough. DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM THIS RESTAURANT

Used for a drive thru recently. My order was slightly incorrect, asked for no ice but was given ice. Not a massive problem. Gets very busy but the queue kept moving. Disappointed by the ever-changing menu these days. Always an overpriced special burger which is underwhelming. Chips and nuggets delicious as always.

Falsely accused of stealing food by the horrendous excuse for a manager Tom and his counterpart Alan. Thankfully, staff member Josh bravely confirmed Tom was wrong and that he never delivered any food to my car, and showed the food went to wrong car park bag due to a ticketing issue made by their staff. Tom was forced to apologise, (begrudgingly) and then handed me the same order that was made ten minutes ago and left under a heat lamp. When I asked for a fresh order, he told me the bag was warm. You’ve just wrongly accused me of stealing in front of other customers and now won’t even make me a fresh order? Surely that’s the least you would do?! Disgusting. Nothing but a false apology and a shrug. One hour to get a stale order and be falsely accused of stealing in front of other customers. ****Special shoutout to Josh! It would have been much easier to back up his fellow staff members and keep it as my word against their’s. It was very brave of him to tell the truth and confirm his manager Tom and Alan’s horrendous false accusation, made on the back of what they later confessed to be unclear CCTV. Please note the rating has no reflection on you and I’m sorry your fellow staff members let you down.

Always good to break a journey at Macdonalds and Yogi enjoys his happy meal for one

It’s my birthday today and I ordered a toffee late and Mac-drive, instant of coffee I received just a white water.. realised that once I got home

Food was ok, clearly fresh. Staff were great, took my rubbish straight away with a smile. But the parking was awful. Massive lorry blocking the exit, so had to wait in the drive through queue to park, it was also blocking loads of spaces so couldn't park. No spaces, so tried to park in the disabled bays with my blue badge, but both taken up by people no no badges. Just not great.

My friend and I went here the other day. We got told to wait for our food in the car park. We spent 20 minutes waiting and the fries and burger were rock hard. Disgusting. We’re never coming here again!

Standard experience. Drive through service can be improved further. Be aware that the display screens show incorrect counts, but the service personnel do assure that the price shown is correct! Their ice-cream 🍦 machine is broke for a while, no McFlurrys. 😒 hope someone is watching this message

Clean facilities, fairly fast service although the drive through seem to get priority. Good parking on site but little in the way of a pedestrian route from the car park. The breakfast McMuffin has shrunk to what they used to be. Always enjoy their coffee

This McDonald's used to be pretty decent. Not now. The food is consistently undercooked (fries, muffins) and the grease on the floors is disgusting. Just had breakfast here and the whole time my kids were eating, the cleaner was chatting to a friend.

Noticed today that I've added a beer bar and a McDonald's to my favourite places..... I guess I need to make some changes in my life😅 And if I'm not joking, I didn't like the fact that the place was somehow dirty. But maybe they just didn't have time to clean it up.

Its a fast food place that does what they do all day every day. Not the greatest of starts as they did not know if any discounts could be given for Blue Light or Defence discount, took 3 people to decide...no they dont! Staff not very happy and service was not that great. Food was Ok but not worth the cost! I doubt they even care tbh.

Standard macdonalds, when we went the drive thru was really difficult to use as they couldn't hear us.

Staff a bit grumpy but it was hot, hence my mcflurry had melted before I even got it. Also only ice cream as they had run out of malteser topping

Ordered wrap of the day, crispy chicken but got grilled for the 3rd visit, not much salad and had a tiny bit of the sauce, very disappointing

We found food always piping hot during our eat in. The lady attending the table and removing litter is fantastic and attentive. You cannot find a dirty table for more than 2 minute! Seems that they have a great team work going on there!

Plenty of parking available and staff were very nice and friendly.

I have just had a home delivery of chips and two bacon cheeseburgers, and it was all freezing cold!!!! Sunday 28th. I am not happy and would like you to deliver my order again and I want it HOT As soon as possible. I'm hungry.

Sometimes the staff are really good and clear and others they are 'meh' and mumbly. Drive through is always quick but going in takes a lot longer

Wrong food all the time never wrapped properly. Every single person that works in there must of come from another planet or a special school because there all brain dead

Often stop by at this McDonalds when out and about as we find that for the area it is one of the more consistent branches for quality and service, have not had to wait too long for orders and often find that the fries are nice and hot. Actively see them cleaning in the branch which again is less common that one would hope.

The worst McDonald’s I have ever had , there was a hair in my daughters nuggets ,the hot chocolate smelt like chemicals , will not be going there again

Terrible food, always cold, use to be good! I live just over the rd and even in car journey it either cold or stale! This is the 3rd time! In only a matter of months and got a refund, definitely won't be going bk.

I lost count how many times the McD app keeps saying the menu for THIS branch can not be loaded choose another location! ABINGDON McD sort the app out please! Need to use & collect the app points!!

Went there to get food but was shut to clean the kitchen. Drove all the where there when they should be open.

Really slow drive thru, lots of pauses taking orders. 1st window guy on drive thru courteous and pleasant. Once payment made, sat there a good 10 mins before getting to 2nd window where guy just gives a blank look, no apology, not even any verbal response at all. And what happened to the old days with double folding the bag? Now they just chuck the bag at you open! At least the food was OK though!

Tiny restaurant with little space and around 12 parking spaces but kept reasonably well. Chicken salad was nice but lettuce could be fresher.. The ordering screen I used had no receipt paper.

Worst McDonald's in the world. Slowest drive thru ever. 99% of staff have no idea what day it is. Can't park cos full of delivery drivers. Just don't bother. Waste of time

The worst McDonald's in Oxfordshire, they never have any Milkshakes or Ice Cream. You make a complaint and they have an excuse that the machine is broken however when it is every week for months on end it becomes apparent that they just can't be bothered to clean the machine! Avoid and go elsewhere!

For weeks now the abingdon branch has had no milkshakes and apparently the machine is broken ! Who ever owns the franchise to this branch should be ashamed the owner needs to sort this out now!! The staff are amazing but i feel sorry for them keep having to apologise for something that is out of their hands!!

Came to collect breakfast on the way to Southampton. Everything we ordered was given which doesn’t always happen with McDonald’s. We did car collection and didn’t take long.

No receipt paper so didn't know my number, food was thrown together and to top it off my reward code wasn't adding the discount

Food was nice. However, the food was poorly constructed. The ingredients were nice though. Service was fast. 3 1/2 minutes. Screaming children and rowdy teenagers, however this is difficult to manage. 3 1/2 stars. Rounded to 4.

couldn’t organise a burger in a burger restaurant. had over a 5 minute wait for a single breakfast bun at 9 am. pathetic

One of the better McDonalds; easy to use and they get the food order right almost every time - the only downside is that of the Deliveroo/JustEat drivers; they barge their way through the queues and park on the entrance of a busy main road on the junction, on the pavement too - McDonalds management need to sort this out ASAP before there’s a serious accident.

Don't bother with delivery, the acne covered mongs working here will "forget" an entire meal or something half the time. Bunch of thicko chavs.

Abingdon Mc Donald’s was the worst service I have ever experienced in Mc Donald’s restaurants. We waited 40 minutes for cold food and was told they are short staffed. The manager begrudgingly gave me a refund but no compensation was offered not even fresh hot food. We were told if we wanted more food it would be over half an hours further wait. Abingdon Mc Donald used to be my favourite but not anymore. The manager was the worst I have ever seen. This poor deliveroo guy had been waiting at least 45 mins. This is his job and livelihood. I felt so bad for him. An absolute disgrace

There are not enough parking spots and undercooked fries.

Don,t bother unless you want a lucky dip meal. Wanted a breakfast wrap & got told sorry but sold out. So ordered double sausage & egg muffin meal. I ended up with bacon & egg muffin, no hash brown all stone cold with half a slice of bacon. Companies like this don,t deserve any custom whatsoever. Will not be going back again. McDonald’s, YOU CAN STICK WHERE THE SUN DON,T SHINE.

Ordered through the drive-thru. Had to park and wait for my order for about an extra 5 to 10 minutes. When I received it, I checked and found that one fries and a burger were missing. Got it sorted and when I thought everything was finally correct. However, when I got home and opened my McCrispy burger, everything was there except the chicken! I had to go all the way back from home to show what happened, spoke with the manager, and filed a complaint. The manager stalked to the staff about what happened, but they seemed to take it as a joke or something funny. In the end, my fries were cold, my burger had to be remade, and there wasn't a fast food experience at all, as took me about 45 minutes in total to have my burger. This experience really reflects a decline in service quality and food standards at McDonald's in Abingdon.

More expensive than other McDonald's. Profiteering, will not buy my tea and coffee there anymore

The people who prepare the food, do not do a very good job. My big mac was a big mess! I don't go here unless I have to.

They never have mcflurrys, shakes and some drinks. They say don't have but its clearly the machines don't get cleaned . Other places never have a problem

15 minutes in the drive through, Receive cold food, Go in to complain and they put the food under a grill for 5 seconds, 'OK better' Crap

Despite the long queue for drive thru service was fairly quick, could have done with a smile but I'm satisfied.

Don’t bother with this McDonald’s. They forget every single time we order at least one part of the meal. Usually the burger. And no, it’s not just happened once, I can count at least 5 times in the past two months. Then, if you call them up, they tell you their systems are bugged and can’t refund even if you give your receipt details - you’d think for a multi million dollar company would at least be able to track their receipts, even with partners like just eat. Most ridiculous service ever and deserve to go bankrupt tbh.

The food wasn't great and was very disappointing. The place was clean and tidy and the staff were nice. It's just a shame the food was cold and thrown together.

I want to share my excitement about this McDonald's! It is definitely the best restaurant in this chain that I have come across in England. It is clean, tidy, and there are no unpleasant smells. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the service is quick. I definitely recommend this McDonald's 👍

Reasonable service although automatic order machines did not dispense a receipt. However high spot was seeing the plain clothes police arrest A.N. Other in the car park for offences unknown!

Poor service ordering online or via drivethru. Multiple times items missing from order. Really there should be more attention paid to fulfilling an order. Please fix it

Possibly one of the worst managed McDonalds in the country. Multiple times this year I've had orders missing food items. Always missing straws/dips/napkins on every order. Went in for 1 wrap yesterday with no chips or drink yet and was waiting 15 minutes before anyone even began to prep it, and it still somehow managed to come out cold. Utterly abysmal. Would completely avoid if it wasn't the only 24 hour food service in the area

Staff are quite slow, and food wasn't exactly fresh. However, it is a fast food restaurant. They did their best considering it was busy.

McDonalds' "thing" is supposed to be consistency, and maybe it is if you go regularly. But I haven't been for over a year and everything was noticeably worse than the last time. Especially the food. The burgers were dry cardboard patties on dry cardboard bread. There's no value in the Happy Meal toy, just bits of cardboard.

9 am. inside was looking ready for closing down. Hoovering, panels of ceiling coming out. Toilets out of use, staff having all a break.

Always takes forever to get the order and very often it's wrong when you get it .this used to be an excellent McDonald's I can't believe how quickly it has gone down hill ,also it's very rare to get a milkshake.

Great staff and good customer service

If you order delivery you will get... something. It's 50/50 if it's what you ordered, but you'll get something. It might be worth far less than what you paid for but it'll show up more or less on time. If you want McDonald's then there in person.

Taking way to long food is cold but is still clean

More often than not the order is half missing including whole items, dips, sides. Often cold food. I can't believe I've just reviewed a Mcdonalds but my expectations are so low and they keep getting it wrong they can have a review.

It was cleaner now than when I was before. Quick service. But it was Sunday night.

Aweful customer service very rude staff

Parking was a trifle tricky with the bays quite tight. Ordering the food was straightforward. Didn't use table service but collected from the counter. All the orders were correct. The food could have been really hot as opposed to being hot. All in the group demolished their meal.. The burgers were tasty as were the chicken nuggets. The chips were pretty bland with little or no taste and they were anemic to look at & so disappointed with them. The golden arches was really busy and so the atmosphere inside was lively.

Why do I have to go through Uber eats if McDonald's staff forget to put an item in my order? Surely the issue is with McDonald's staff not the delivery driver!

McDonald’s in Abingdon, UK has to be the quickest one for service that I’ve been to. This is what fast food should be like.

Nothing extraordinary, typical McD's facility. This one unfortunately was a bit filthy. Also, a queue and awaiting time was way too long.

Good example of a traditional McDonald's. Plenty of parking, trans friendly, good clean restaurant and toilets and fast, polite service. The seating area isn't as large as others I have visited but there wasn't a shortage of seating during our visit.

Food delivered cold and missing part of the order. Called McDonald's and explained then collected a full order replacement plus a delivery refund.

The owner of this franchise is very rude. She has a very nice Spanish speaking lady in her drive thru who got our order wrong when we pulled back around the manager/owner told us we were wrong at first and that she gave us what’s on the receipt even though it was not what we ordered. She laughed at use belittled us and took 15 minutes just to get the correct order after we ard had to drive back. I will personally never spend money or energy here again. There are so many other stores in this shopping center an amazing Chick fil a next door they always get it right, Panda Express across the street, and a KFC Taco Bell a few doors down. If you want to save your patience and time I suggest not going here horrible experience.

The staff is super attentive and the place is spotless! That's the experience during the day when you eat in. Unfortunately I haven't had the same experience in the same place in the drive though at night.

Picked up food via drive thru. Had to park up & wait but young lad was delivering food quickly! Gave him a Christmas tip!
