Have used Panda Town for some time now and never had a bad takeaway. Usually use their delivery service which has always been reliable and the food is hot on arrival.
Certainly the best takeaway in Haywards Heath, would highly recommend.
We got a takeout delivered by Just Eat from here, hard to judge the food as it was only tepid and one of the two rices was missing...Just Eat said they would give me a £5 credit note! Which is an insult as I had paid extra for service and delivery and got only part of it. The credit note is of no use as why would I pay £30-40 again knowing that I won't get some vital part of the meal? My son yesterday had the same experience with Just Eat...not from here but 1/3 order missing and told to accept a credit, refused a refund. You will be judged by your delivery service I am afraid.
With my wife and children visiting Marbella for half term I found myself ordering a takeaway curry. I ordered plain boiled rice and a chicken Ceylon. I’m Asian with Burmese heritage and I’ve had a few curries and this was absolutely the best I’ve had in over a decade!! The meat was cooked to perfection and the coconut based sauce was hot but lovely! Mustak - it was the best I’ve had in a very long time. Thank you Colin
Ordered for collection this evening, first time trying Lucky's as it's a bit further from where we live, but it didn't disappoint at all. We had a variety of items- egg fried rice, sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken chow mein, satay chicken skewers, veg spring rolls and BBQ ribs. All of it was delicious. Nicest sweet and sour sauce round here. Fresh, piping hot and very tasty, service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend. Compliments to the chefs at Lucky.
Shame it's gone, we loved eating here. What a loss. Beefeater used to give great value meals and such friendly staff. Sorry to see another great chain disappearing.
Expensive so so portions quality not up to prices.. Didnt rate the starter or fish dish. Used to be better a few years ago Had better better food elsewhere sometimes at standard pub prices or similar prices. Not terrible I guess but not worth the price seems overrated. Had much better food in Brighton and London even Sussex
Ten of us went today for a celebratory Birthday lunch. We sat in one of the lovely pods outside which we all loved... nicely decorated for Christmas 🎄We all enjoyed our meals, which included sausage&mash, burgers, risotto and festive turkey. Great service from a young team of staff. We will definitely recommend and return in the New Year !
Whilst the venue was lovely and atmosphere great the food was lacking on this occasion and not up to standard. We were a group of 6 celebrating a birthday and were expecting great things, alas this was not so, some of the dishes on the menu were not available. My crab scotch egg was very small and not worth £10.95 neither were some of the other starters, the seasonal green veg was just a mixture of shredded greens, mostly carrot, the pork dish was accompanied by the same shredded carrot in a small cabbage but that wasn’t explained to me when I ordered the additional veg side dish. The sea bream and lamb were ok but the accompanying veg let the dish down. The coffee machine was apparently broken so no cappuccino
The waitress was very bubbly and efficient and did apologise for the failings. In all not the best experience…..
We stayed overnight. Accommodation basic but adequate and warm enough despite the cold weather. A good selection of reasonably priced pub classics for dinner. Friendly and relaxed vibe. Breakfast fine except the absence of hot milk meant that the coffee was either too strong or only lukewarm.
