Flavour Indian Restaurant in Mid Sussex

We had an exceptionally amazing experience here! Making this by far our favorite Indian meal we have been for, I'd say ever! Everything was amazing. We would highly recommend to ANYONE, especially as they offer a high value Wednesday and Sunday deal if your looking for a reasonably priced night out !

Staff were really friendly and polite. Food was delicious, came quickly and was a good portion size. Large menu to choose from. Would definitely come back!

Tasteless, tough meat, only took 25 mins to come (I live 20mins away!) just very disappointing. Maybe an off night?!

One of the Best Indian takeaway’s in West Sussex!

The curry was lovely however steak and chips was ruined. The food had tipped all out the pots into the other food which meant it all tasted the same! Delivery driver was lovely.

OMG- the irony of the name of this restaurant. I have just had the worst culinary experience of my life. Greasy, cold, tasteless muck! It was disgusting.

Couldn't fault ambience, attention and quality of food. Chose a different selection as I'm struggling with appetite issues. No problem with our choice and hopefully will return another time.

Lovely food, and open for delivery during the day, which is rare for Indian takeaways. Only thing I would say is the portion of meat in the curries could’ve been a bit better.

Ordered for delivery over the weekend and this was our first time using Flavour. The food was all amazing! Great flavours, good portion sizes and so much to choose from. We ordered way more than expected, but it was all incredible. Will definitely order again. Very happy customer!

Ordered the Flavour special and it was extremely dry and chicken lamb and kebab very overcooked .very disappointed considering bought the main specialty!!

The aloo baba and bonbay aloo that I ordered was a waste. I had to chuck it in a bin because it was smelly like the potato had already gone bad and the chef still decided to cook with the rotten potato..waste of money

I wish I read the most recent reviews first. Probably one of the worst *Curries* I have ever had. Dry chicken, no spice, no flavour, Every curry was the same even when we ordered different things. Took over an hour to arrive. Wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend.

This is my second order. I thought I would give it another go in case the last one was a one off bad one. Sheek kebab starter was so bland it tasted of nothing, the yoghurt sauce was so watered down it tasted of nothing. The balti sauce with my chicken tikka was quite runny and not spiced enough. Sag aloo was bland. My partner loved her dish though which was king prawn mussala. Which I why I gave it 3 stars.

I opted for delivery so I don't get out of the house. The driver asked me to come out. I feel like I've wasted my money. Curry is so basic. Why does the lamb shank have to be in curry as well? It's not specified that lamb shank has curry. Not ordering in this rubbish place again.

Great food, welcoming and helpful staff. Very slight quibble: a little too fast collecting empty plates. We'll visit again!

Food temperature was only warm when delivered but would have given a higher rating if food was hot on arrival. The flavour was brilliant.

Overpriced, with tiny portions, unpleasant staff. Don't bother !!! Top prices for very mediocre meal.

Don't order anything with chicken in it. Buy some cardboard instead it will be easier to chew.

We tried this restaurant as we had not used it before and they had some interesting looking dishes. Ordering was really easy. Unfortunately that is where the good experience ended. The food was over an hour late with no contact or explanation from the restaurant. It was cold, tasteless, and although it was listed as spicy, mild. It was literally not worth the wait. Only positive was the delivery driver was really polite. We won’t be using here again.

Drinks expensive 4.95 for a flat coke no ice... Chicken hard as if not fresh My salad had dark old bits in it Onion in the condiments was dry and not fresh Mango chutney quite pail and not much flavour Such a shame as I used to be a regular and thought I give it ago, but now needs to find another curry house ....

I think the salmon was off it smelt awful and made the rest of the meat in the mixed grill taste odd, this put us off wrong the rest, very disappointing

Avoid if you like curry. Dry chewy un edible chicken. Sauce was practically tomatoe purée not spicy. Nothing about the entire meal was enjoyable rather a bowl of porridge

Sorry guys , ordered a few times but tonight all the chicken was dry as a bone , flavourless sauce and blacken burnt Naan bread really really bad. Hopefully an off night but won’t be ordering again anytime soon.

Chicken was Chewy and sauce was Waltery phoned them up and they wasn't very useful no refund and didn't redeliver

Good was watery and cold. Flavour was so bad. Paid £1.15 for poppadoms thinking it would be more than 1 as we spent over £60 and received literally 1.

First time using Just Eat. I was a bit sceptical as never had food delivered before but we both enjoyed our curries which arrived on time and still hot. Definitely order again.

It seems they have a different chef on a weekend, (Saturday) On Saturdays all curry tastes the same no matter what curry you order, We want go back again enough is enough

I ordered chicken tikka dhansak, however it definitely wasn't chicken tikka, just chicken that was extremely tough and chewy. Bit of a let down as the sauce was nice, but could hardly eat the chicken.

First visit, was highly recommended, polite staff, very helpful in explaining the different flavours and heat of the Curry's . Worth a visit

Received my order now I had many a curry fro this place and always been nice but sadly tonight it wasn't nice at all I had chicken pathia pilea rice and onion bhaji the children was do dry and chewy couldn't eat it.. Have they changed chef. Won't be ordering again or recommending

Portions are so small which is very disappointing. 6 small pieces of chicken I counted in my madras.

We had a meal here and all ok until we got the bill. I questioned why they had added a £1 to each desert (not sure what others they had decided to inflate without our prior approval as just wanted to get out of there.) He said with a grin on his face "'thats an old menu, we've put prices up but haven't adjusted the menu." Sooo we paid with noone wanting to make a scene. However, totally ripped off with a grin and they had no right so be warned. Expect to be conned.

Flavour by name, sadly flavour not by nature. Chicken dansak, flavourless. Tarka dal, comparable to dishwater. Flavour Special, I’m still chewing the lamb. Bindi Bhaji dragged the meal up from a 1 stat

Supermarket quality for high price! I paid £30 for a dupiaza, rice, side and a nann. The Nann was lovely, the rest was rubbish and sadly I wish I'd not wasted the money. Rice had clumps all stuck together. Side tasted just of oil.... the curry was small portioned and full of orange oil, lamb was soft but flavourless and I don't feel like I'm full after all that!! Shows the small portions as I normally struggle! Tasteless Dupiaza.( used uber eats)

Was not impressed with this Indian restaurant. Had a take away and it was really bland and flavourless. Also the chicken was very dry and rice pellety. It reminded me of an Asda microwave curry. Will not use again.

Ordered a butter chicken and found the chicken was not cooked very well it was pink in the middle and had a funny flavour. I give 2 stars because the other dish we ordered was okay. Won’t be getting a takeaway from this place again, very disappointed, had to throw away more than half of my dish

Had numerous meals for here and they never disappoint, food is always amazing whether in the restaurant or delivery - food is always hot. Tried various things on the menu and again never disappoints.

Food was piping hot and lovely. Quick delivery.

Food is average , service is poor and prices are anyones guess . The menu is the ‘old’ prices so expect to pay more when the bill arrives . And if you enjoy sitting on a road to eat this is the place for you. Wouldn’t go back .

While the food was delivered early it was of a poor quality. The food had little flavour and all the dishes tasted the same. We had 4 different choices and it was hard to tell them apart, this is a shame as we have eaten at the restaurant and the food was better.

Excellent food as always, the Wednesday & Sunday buffet is great value for 5 courses. Mustak the owner always gives a warm welcome, best curry house in Burgess Hill by far!

Used to come here couple times a week , job took me away, back in area and i thought lets try again..... On wed afternoon i had a takeaway, naga was excellent and one thing i do remember are the flavours onoin bahjis they where excellent back then and they still are! plus all the nann breads and rices and side dishes are all very very nice. do try this place if you have not you wont be disappointed.

Very nice flavour and soft chicken. Came over an hour early, ordered during the day and when I got it delivered it was cold.

Overall quality was good, however the Bombay Aloo was poor.

Great portions, very tasy food

We were unimpressed with the food and we felt overcharged by having to pay £1 for 1 popadom. Normally flavor exceeds our expectations but through just eat we felt overcharged for what we got and not a valued customer.

Food was 15 minutes late with no reason given by driver. Food was luke warm. Cheese naan was very bland. Could see the cheese but not taste it.

Delivered a few minutes later than estimated. That's not much of a problem. But they got one part of the order wrong so I had to call back to request the correct portion

Lot of varieties, taste is good. But I feel there is lil extra food color. Coz it looks sooo colorful.

Ordered online for delivery and told 40min however website updated to 50mins so I gave it a hour to chase delivery. I was informed that it was sent out for delivery 15mins ago with 4-5 other orders which raised alarms. The guy on the phone explained they had delivery driver shortages which I was understandably sympathetic however when it got to 1hr 15mins I still had not received food. 2nd call and a lot of waiting I was informed that they had tried contacting driver however had no luck. Eventually 1hr 27mins a driver arrived with food ( been on the road for 42mins with order ). Opened the main dishes and it was just under Luke warm. Rice dishes were worse and the aloo was practically cold. Nan breads were soggy. Called shop and explained what the condition was to be told that my number will be forwarded to the manager who was not working today. I tried a small piece of curry and sauce and I was gutted as the flavour seemed to be great. Very unhappy with my whole 1st time experience overall.

I ordered a take -away meal for two. I order the Chicken Jalfrezi and it was the worst Chicken Jalfrezi I have ever had. It consisted of chicken pieces in a thin, brown sauce that was mainly onions and extremely bland. I also ordered sag paneer and tarka dhall, the portion size was small and I was left feeling hungry. My partner complained that the pappadams were burnt. I usually order form another, reliable restaurant and thought I would give Flavour a try. I regret my decision and will not be using them again.

My friend and I had never been to this restaurant before but we will certainly be returning! Massive choice of starter, main course, side dish, rice and finally coffee all for £11.99. Excellent food and polite and attentive waiting staff. Can't recommend this restaurant enough

Delicious with a massive choice of different dishes. Really fairly priced compared to many other local places. Fabulous website, easy to use. Incredible flavour, sensible delivery times, really good quality. Food delivered was nice and hot.
