The best restaurants in Mid Sussex South East

Great country pub, great garden, great food. All round great pub.

I'm not usually one for ordering online when there are people there, but it works. The only thing is that you have to order everything you need at once, because it's not like in other places where you can pay later. You have to pay and leave a tip before you get the food on the table. We had a couple of streaky bacon breakfast muffins, a chai latte and a pink smoothie (5/4/28)

Very disappointed that the restaurant, which serves excellent food, has stopped serving alcohol. The management response that it is a result of Brexit and that the majority of other Indian restaurants have done the same is respectively incomprehensible and untrue. In fact, I was told by the manager himself that it is due to the religious preferences of one of the owners.

The food Has made my family very unwell. The food was cold when was delivered.

What a sensational meal I just had and the service was perfect. I shall return very soon

Went last night for friends Christmas catch up. Small and friendly. We all throughly enjoyed our meals, hot, tasty, nicely presented and just the right amount! We had delicious Tarragon Chicken, a vegetarian Burrito, and delicious sticky Spare-Ribs. The Churros for dessert were delicious!

Six of us on a cold winters evening. Log Fire . All food great, Raspberry Souffle amazing. Great service.Reasonably priced. Will return.

Fantastic restaurant 👌 food 😋 👌 was fabulous staff brilliant very nice helpful and friendly 😀 👍 we could not fault a thing. If you're ever in Barmouth you must eat here.

Good place for shoppings, take care with parking here, just 2 hours left yours car inside, after that will be charged with 70 pounds. Anyway they sometimes make mistakes and send wrong charges, make appeal and your charges will be canceled.Happy soppings guys 😁

Wasted £40 just to get my order totally wrong, don’t use this restaurant, food tastes like cardboard, definitely microwaved instead of freshly cooked, the chicken is like biting into a Michelin tyre, just another crappy restaurant to avoid wouldn’t wish their food on my worst enemy. Thanks for nothing!!

When you arrive, they are not friendly. The food is not what I expected, nothing special, and the place is not comfortable. The waiter was not friendly.

Warm and cosy on a grey, cold January day. Super fast arrival of food to the table. Huge omelette and huge, varied side salads. I asked for a lemon and ginger tea but they didn’t have any so the lovely lady serving me gave me one of her own teas! So kind of her. Thank you 🙏🏻 100% recommend
