Very disappointed that the restaurant, which serves excellent food, has stopped serving alcohol. The management response that it is a result of Brexit and that the majority of other Indian restaurants have done the same is respectively incomprehensible and untrue. In fact, I was told by the manager himself that it is due to the religious preferences of one of the owners.

Very good food and service but the whole evening was completely destroyed by a group of men swearing and being very aggressive and loud so it is best avoided if you want to enjoy. My wife felt sick and the swearing was really threatening- police wasn’t called to intervene which was really shocking. Not for families or couples for sure

Some very good cooking but experience ruined by exceptionally loud restaurant and waiting staff didn't seem to listen then bought the wrong items. They did however make an effort and were friendly, I think we were just unlucky with our timing (there were large groups). Edited: As of May 24, no longer serving alcohol, frustrating that they didn't mention it when I booked, I didn't feel very good walking off to Co-Op to fetch wine and beer. It's also a bit awkward with beer going warm but they did provide a cork-screw and ice. Business as usual however, with regards to very good food, but yet again they seem to attract large, loud groups.

Most disappointing chicken korma I have ever eaten! Absolutely no flavour. Naan undercooked. Prices online differed from in store so paid more than I planned to and was incredibly disappointed.

I’ve changed my rating from high to low since the they stopped selling alcohol (after decades of selling it). It’s probably the only Indian restaurant in the UK that has adopted this policy. I guess when they go bust they’ll realise that bring your own alcohol isn’t a thing in the UK. Crazy

As someone who lives near many curry houses I can tell you, even though the menu looks basic, eat here. It is top drawer. 10/10

Friendly service, disappointing food - bland, heavy sauces and little spice - standard Indian restaurant look and feel. Overall, a bit expensive for the quality and quantity of food, although it's on the high street and you pay for the convenience.

Just had a lovely curry with friends who were visiting and have to say it was really nice. This is my local Indian restaurant and I’ve been here quite a lot over the years. I’ve never been hugely excited by this place and have had my review at 3 stars - but I just came back and edited increasing to a four because I really think last night was a step up. Really really nice meal.

Very disappointed! Highlight was the Onion Bhaji. Waterary, tastless curry. Small Korma portions. Overpriced for for quality and quantity of food. I've tasted so much better curry than here!

Expensive and nothing special. Coming from London this is average plus had to wait 30 mins for a takeaway despite going at opening times.

The team here are always so welcoming. A great local Indian. Food is a little westernised but suits the village. Great selection of large beers.

Fresh, hot food, not the cheapest around but you get what you pay for. Chicken Naga is always amazing.

Ordered Chicken Tikka Masala with mushroom rice for a main coarse. Starters Poppadoms and salad were good. Unfortunately the main meal was very poor, no taste to it and very sloppy. Was expecting better.

The loveliest little Indian restaurant in the village. The interior of the restaurant isn't fancy by any stretch of the imagination but the food was delicious and hot. Staff were accommodating and friendly, throughly enjoyed our meal, and they boxed up our left overs to take home
