Wonderful meal. Joe the manager not only met all our requests but went above and beyond to give us an amazing experience. Can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic birthday meal out, table of 10 of us and the service and food were flawless. Everything cooked to perfection, hot and tasty, can’t wait to be back for that sirloin again.

Family and friends meal out for a birthday and Miller and Carter Haywards Heath truly delivered! The food and service were exceptional and really cannot be faulted! The steaks were next level as well as all the sides! Special touch with the cake for the table!

I'm always delighted to come here, delicious steaks, friendly knowledgeable staff and great atmosphere. I've tried a few of these and this is my local favourite place, much nicer than Patcham. Big shout out to Caron who made our family trip last weekend go really smoothly. I'll be back...love the ribeye. Actually love all the steaks. Dropped a star because starters have dropped the normal standard and size. Mains only all the way for me now

Great steaks at Miller & Carter - Haywards Heath. Dinner on Tuesday 4 March 2025 You cannot beat the basic Rump steak at M&C, with all the trimmings. And Caron was so willing to adapt dressings for the salads and always on hand for additional drinks and to pay the bill. A nice change from the we need to pay the bill now and not a staff member in sight for ages. So thanks Caron for making the meal such an enjoyable experience!

A most enjoyable early evening dinner. Outstanding customer service from both Joe & Brad: wonderful to be served by professionals! An excellent meal - on point in every respect. Perfectly cooked Chateaubriand with onion loaf & new potatoes. All complemented with a Californian Pinot Noir served in an exquisitly clean glass! Many thanks Miller & Carter!

I can't comment on the food as it never arrived! We booked a table for 3.15pm on a Sunday afternoon. We arrived a few minutes early and we're seated. It was quiet when we arrived with a few tables occupied. We ordered 4 drinks, two of which were not placed on the ordering system so we had to chase these up. We also ordered a Sunday lunch sharing platter, and meals for our two teenagers. After 45 minutes we were told food was being plated up and received an apology for the delay. After a further 20 minutes we realised that we would not have time to eat even if it was to arrive at some point, as my husband had an appointment elsewhere at 5pm. We'd waited just over an hour for food when it was not particularly busy. I explained to the manager, who didn't even offer to comp our drinks. When I said I didn't feel that we should pay for the drinks (a half drunk pint of IPA, two cokes and a water) he shrugged and said "I can't stop you walking out". We won't be returning to this branch, which is a shame as previous experience shows that they do know how to cook a good steak - if it arrives!

All three of us had a really enjoyable experience. We dined early and took advantage of the set menu, ordering a main and dessert each. The food and service were excellent. We would like to give a big shout out to Aaron, the chef and Georgia, who looked after us.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinning experience at Miller & Carter, Steakhouse. A special shout out to Maz, who served us with such professionalism and kindness.

Absolutely amazing food and lovely staff could not fault them and thank them enough the food was amazing considering it was Valentine’s Day and they was absolutely rammed full of people but the food came out piping hot, fresh and mouthwatering would definitely recommend will definitely be going back there soon

Very disappointing , arrived for table waited at the bar for 20 minutes , ordered our food starter came then we waited nearly an hour for our main course we asked for medium rare fillet steaks and got well done fillet steaks , The vegetables were cold we don’t understand how we could’ve waited all that time only to be served cold food, there were people arriving well after us having all their food and going before we’d even got a chance to eat our main course,we were told by our server that he would speak to the manager Joe, And that Joe would come and speak to us. This did not happen. The Service excuse was that Joe was too busy to speak to us and this was at 10:20 at night we arrived at the restaurant at 7:20, there was so many people complaining about the poor service and cold food, we was not given any discount nor offered a complimentary drink for the meal being cold and steaks being well done, we was told by our server that there would be something sorted out for us obviously we had been given some one else’s steaks all in a very disappointing exspensive meal… the impression we were getting from other people was that they had doubled booked the restaurant, which would explain the long wait and cold food, if I could put pictures on I would as I took pictures of the steak.

Terrible experience last Christmas. Everything that could go wrong, did! They were not able to cope with the volume of covers and therefore managed to do nothing well.

Booked for mums 94th birthday. The team was welcoming and couldn't have been more attentive. Nice surroundings with plenty if private areas. The food was really good, much better than I expected for a chain. Parking and access were really good. We had a great time, made easy by the team.

Disgusting experience due to finding LIVE BUGS crawling around in the lettuce wedge. This was a special father and daughter meal as I only get to visit her in Sussex around twice a year as I live in Cornwall. If you can’t get a simple thing like washing letting and CHECKING FOOD before it goes to the customer there’s seriously something wrong.

I ordered from this restaurants through Uber eats and found bugs in the food. This is actually disgusting. They literally didn’t even wash the vegetables. If im spending this much money on a meal I expect it to be washed and clean.

Have come out for a well deserved evening with the other half and we choose Miller and Carter steakhouse for our evening out and have had the most lovely meal, both have thoroughly enjoyed every part of our meal, we went with the butchers block which was recommend by Joe the general manager and our steaks were cooked to perfection with the sauces recommended also being red wine and the beef dripping which really complimented the steaks, the bone marrow which was also part of our dish was something we've never tried before and what can we say it was out of this world, yum, thank you Joe for a lovely evening of trying new things and also I've always wanted to try different red wines and not sure of what compliments what but again Joe was very teaching of this and I tried a lovely red wine this evening to compliment our meal. Would like to add also that the atmosphere is lovely here, everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and the staff are lovely and very polite and checking your ok all through your time here. To end the night I wanted a dessert but was putting my self off as didn't want anything too heavy but again the amazing Joe recommend the lemon tart with raspberry sorbet as was something nice and light just to finish, and he was right. We will definitely be back.

We visited to celebrate an 18th birthday. We were a table of 9 with a wheelchair user. The staff were helpful with table arrangements and we were looked after so well throughout our meal.

Our first visit to a Miller and Carter (whilst staying at Gatwick airport) Fin did a great job serving us; service with a smile, even got us a taxi number for taking us back to the station, Calamari good, steak ideal colour for what we requested, cooked to perfection, steak no sinew, tender, good idea with the lettuce. Next time we are in the area will certainly pay a visit, well done Fin and all 👏🏻

We recently visited Miller & Carter in Haywards Heath and had an absolutely amazing experience. We ordered the Côte de Boeuf steak sharing platter, and it was nothing short of perfection. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection – juicy, tender, and packed with incredible flavor. Every bite was a treat, and it was clear the chefs truly care about the quality of their dishes. The staff were equally impressive – kind, attentive, and made us feel so welcome throughout our meal. Their attention to detail and genuine care made the evening extra special. I do not have the words to articulate the Resturant to do it justice, you will have to experience it for yourselves. Went for Xmas day and within a hour of leaving my wife was throwing up her seafood. The only person in our family to have eaten it . Clearly a problem with the seafood! Spoilt our family Christmas

My daughter and myself went for dinner at this restaurant. We are frequent diners there. There were a couple of issues that I conveyed to the manager Joe and server Billy who were just brilliant at resolving them. The customer service from both of these staff was the best we've had at M & C Haywards Heath. They were attentive and friendly throughout the evening. If I could give 10 stars for Joe and Billy I would. They are an absolute asset to M & C. Thanks Joe and Billy :)
