The food was amazing , large portions and well presented , fast service . The cocktail was lovely as well , best food I’ve had in a long time !

Had a lovely breakfast! Everything that the table ordered looked great and got good feedback all round. Very friendly staff too!

If we are having breakfast out we always head here. Great food and service.

We were greeted by a long wait for a reserved table that wasn’t even prepared for us. Once sat, we found dirty glasses with water that had floating dirt and a leaf… We ordered the calamari starter and found it to be cold, and a surprisingly small portion for the extortionate price. For the drinks, we both ordered gin and lemonade, yet we were given tonic. For the main we ordered the sirloin steak, my partner ordered the 14oz and I ordered the 10oz. Each of us had different sides, the wrong sizes arrived at the table with the incorrect sides given to each portion. Found some staff members to be inattentive, whilst others were polite and provided excellent service. Overall, wouldn’t recommend, and definitely won’t be going again. The whole meal cost over £100, for something id expect at weatherspoons. Throughly disappointed with my visit

Visited during lunch time on a weekday. I think it's going to be a steak restaurant, but in addition to steak, they had a variety of other menu items for lunch. You can also choose from hamburgers and breakfast menu items. This time I ordered grilled chicken. It was topped with butter mushroom sauce and was very delicious. At the end, I mixed the sauce with the potatoes and ate it, and it was even more delicious. It's located on the high street, and the area around the store seemed crowded. It was a very nice lunch.

Staff have been rude on several occasions. Overcharged me on my breakfast once and the lady was very defensive and rude. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and then ordered another time and the chef was rude when we mentioned that our truffle fries were normal fries. I’ve been coming for ages but I’m never coming back.

A great mixed grill. Rump steak was very chewy, but quickly sent out a new one without question. All other aspects of the meal were great.

Last week I went to central London and had a halloumi bowl with freekah, humous, salad, cooked vegetables and fresh pitta, this cost me £13. London Bar and Grill serves this for £19.95. The food is average to meh and you can tell it uses low quality ingredients. The music is blaring and tuneless, you are surrounded by loud, drunken yobs from stag dos and the entire place smells like a cigarette. The staff are rude and loud (perhaps because that is the only way to hear them) and they make excuses for every mistake and mismanagement rather than owning their own incompetance. Whilst in my seat I had a child throw a toy at my head and a staff member drop dirty plates on me which left permanant stains on my cardigan, no compenstation or apology. I have never written a bad review in my life but I felt compelled to, I would rather stick pins in my eyes and burn the money it cost for a meal at this place than eat here again!

It goes from the outside and take everything seriously

First of all, we came to your restaurant to have steak on Friday evening, but it was a complete disaster. The service was very rude, and our meal was significantly delayed. Moreover, despite waiting for so long, our steak was dry. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Super meal . The salad and steak was plenty, the steak was delious. The mixed grill, a rump, and a shoulder of lamb. The lamb was so tasty . Everyone enjoyed thier meal. The staff were attentive & helpful. When we are back up we will return here , great place ,nice atmosphere.

Tasty food, friendly service, big play area for the kids. Nice old church and graveyard nearby for an after lunch stroll.

Very good experience and the food was delicious

We only when in for a lunch nothing too fancy, we both had the beacon and chees burger with chips. It was all very nice well cooked crispy chips and a very tasty burger service was pleasant my only criticism as before is its very dark as in poor lighting why?

Visited Friday. Good variety on menu and was surprised to see liver and bacon. Had to have and not disappointed well cooked and tasty. Service started slow to get order drinks but no problems after. Visited late afternoon so quiet I suppose until early evening crowd.

5 star service from start to finish. Customer service fab and very attentive, food also very nice and again 5 star, would recommend a visit and would definitely visit again if i was in the area

We had a group of 7 for a birthday party tonight. The staff (sorry I didn’t get names!) were fantastic and the food was lovely. The selection of the set menu catered for everyone’s taste. Great atmosphere and would definitely eat here again.

We had a brilliant night here. Very kind staff, the food was surprisingly good. Outside was around 1'C but inside was nice and warm. That was so cool. 😛 I highly recommend.

Had a really nice lunch here. Fairly quiet as it was Sunday at 2.30 so service was quick. The burger and rib ends were delicious and well priced. Would definitely recommend 👍

Delicous steaks with amazing pepper sauce, tasty craft beer and helpful staff. The waiters are always at your hand if needed.

Very nice discovery in East Grinstead. Lovely food and great cocktails!!

We do not live in East Grinstead, but visit for days and nights out. As a family we go to the Bar and Grill several times a year. On this occasion Friday 5th Jan. The reservation was booked. On arrival we waited to be greeted, there were 4 members of staff within 1 metres having a meeting, we were seen but not acknowledged. When the meeting was finished they all walked off! It was only the bar tender who observed this and called for assistance. Then the process of how can we help was disappointing. It was as if we were not expected either with or without a reservation. Thereafter the service was good and after the meal we stayed for some cocktails.

Decent food and a decent menu with some good choices. Service was slow but friendly when we were engaged with. Lots of people having a good time but the music in the dining area was a tad loud. Had to lean forward to hear the person on the other side of the table.

Alright, we went there a few times during the day and it was ok. We went there when it was busy and it was terrible. The hired staff were good but the family owners are a bunch of thugs who are quite happy to threaten you with violence should you query the bill.

My friends and I had drinks here after dinner elsewhere, one of my friends having recently moved to East Grinstead. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great cocktail menu and we all loved our drinks. The bar is really stylish and has a lovely vibe. Would happily go there again!

My friend had her 50th Birthday here and hired there party room. Its a lovely room, big, spacious and lovely. The food was generous and tasty and the staff was fantastic. Great evening out.

It's beautifully sleek in open ceilinged black and white, hung and tenderised Steak heaven, Service Superstars, cocktails made with love, great beers, cider and ales on tap, Music play list made it personally for me, knew and loved every tune, Management got it sussed, returning soon as we can.

First time here. A very warm welcome. Choice of seating inside or out in their "special garden". Special garden is a must! Service was good, nice choice of drinks and the chicken fillet burger with lemon & herb dressing was delicious. All in all exceeded expectations. Recommended & will definitely visit again.🙂

A great place e to drink or eat . Reasonable prices

The menu seems to be limited, however this was my 1st time. The staffs were very friendly and a bit too cheerful for my taste lol. I had my 1st date there and I just could not finish that pasta carbonara (spaghetti, not fusilli). It was so creamy, which probably made me feel full. I did had a nice time there. Considering the cost of living and inflation, the prices there are very reasonable. Wouldn't mind visiting again if I wasn't so picky with my food!

What a great bar and grill. We popped in after being held up and we're 20 minutes late for our reservation, but nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Drinks and food were served quickly and the burgers were incredible, but the star of the show was the ribs, probably the best I have ever had... And I've eaten a lot of ribs in my time! They had obviously been super busy, but the staff were still happy, smiley and helpful. We will definitely be back, as other people's food looked even more delicious!

Really great place for Brunch. Service was fantastic, we were seem to quickly and seated and orders taken all on good time. The Med Breakfast was awesome and had a load of olives woth it that you'd pay for separately at most places so great value. Will check it out again for dinner at somepoint

Quite busy, but it has a nice atmosphere

Music in the garden was a tad too loud especially considering people were eating but food and cocktails were great, the setting was gorgeous and it had a nice busy atmosphere. We will definitely return

Food was amazing, service was disgusting. Man with beard was super rude, slammed our drinks on the table, very pushy, didnt write our order down so came back and said what did you order again. On his phone and being loud, very sarcastic comments.

First time for food, always struggled to get a seat in this place as it’s always very popular. I had the Steak Benedict, wasn’t massively impressed but the others enjoyed their meals and had no complaints. It does feel quite clicky in here at times, however I have been for drinks and the guys behind the bar are very accommodating and make excellent cocktails!

Everything 10/10! Was my sisters birthday and Loydy looked after us brilliantly even putting a little balloon on our table which was such a lovely touch! Food and drinks are amazing and always has a great atmosphere.

This family run restaurant bar is definitely one of the very best places to go eat ,have a drink or cocktail or even just a coffee , they also ater for kids. It's pricey a bit but everything is very good specially service . Would recommend the T bone steak which was excellent thr cocktails are made as excellently as you would expect from a high end bar in London and its a comfortable atmosphere . Had great experience here 😎

Reasonably priced, nice atmosphere and a great bbq and grill selection on the Menu. Only negative is the drinks are a bit pricey

A relaxing atmosphere enhanced by by friendly service and a quality of steak that is second to none. The owner took the time to speak to our party and explained that his father was a butcher. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree here. He explained in a level of detail of how to store the meat which makes a massive difference to the taste and texture. I highly recommend trying the fillet.

Nice place, good food, good drinks (bonus points on having Monkey 47 for my G&T). We were a little rushed by the staff on this particular visit, but we had come with no reservation (which I highly recommend you do if you want a spot at peak times) so it was expected.

I am 35! I have eaten a lot of chicken in my time, but the bbq chicken wings i was just served from here are the BEST CHICKING WINGS ive ever had. I cant post a picture because i ate it all. Booked a table for a birthday today Sunday 24th July, when we got there was told they don't take Sunday bookings. Service was terrible which was a pity as the food was ok
