Went for a drink and closed 2.5 hours before advertised closing time

I always come here when I can even though ppl have told me it's more.of a younger generation I'm 33 but still have fun. Few of the girls come to my vape store. But it's a lovely place and the girls are lovely and super nice. I do try to come down when I book a hotel.

Only venue in Mid Sussex that guarantees live music every Thursday. Also a quiz night first Sunday of the month.

I use to go here with my friends as it’s nice and the only place where you can dance,but the music at the night club is awful,only remixes very bad made.. never seen such bad dj,and it’s a real shame.. they should do something about it and i promise i will give 5 stars.

The food is a total delight, its cooked fresh ( the Thai) and is very authentic, delicious and a bargain at £8.50 for a main and rice! I also has the Satay and honestly, the best I've had! I'm so impressed by the food and the chef, who came out personally to check we were enjoying it! Authentic Thai is definitely what this is!

Grimmest spot in Haywards, been spiked here before but still went back, Thursday live music night is chill.

Went to the night club and had a horrific experience. The bouncers are aggressive for no apparent reason (even to *sober* women) They are physically abusive and manhandled me. They evacuated the club because of an incident occurring outside. I've never seen anything more dangerous or illegal in my life. Untrained staff screaming at people to drop their drinks and leave. Bouncers shoving people etc. I'm surprised a mini stampede didn't happen. Will be reporting this venue to the police.

We Order two paste with king prawns and a bottle of wine. They immediately gave us the bottle of wine. We waited an hour and meals were not served. The waiter Did not make the request to the chef. After asking if meals take too long, she then went to the kitchen. When the long-awaited meal finally came, only one came, and again we waited for the other. This time it was really bad

It’s a nice place in a good location and cocktails are nice but the staff are so miserable to the point of being just plain rude! No smiling, no thanks no eye contact ! It’s put us off visiting again to be honest which is a shame!

Like popping in for a pint or a G&T. During the day very dog friendly (for well behaved dogs & owners). The only down side is the staff seen to prefer my dog to me. Lookingfoward to watching the rugby internationals and then the Six Nations there.

Saw a live singer who was good. They do live band nights Thursdays and quiz nights although we haven't experienced these it seems like it would be fun. Good vibes

Went in for cocktails prior to a special meal with family in Haywoods Heath. Honestly wish we hadn’t bothered, awful cocktails. Had a margarita which was served with sugar on the rim (not salt) and was seriously sweet Not pleasant. The mojito was also really sweet not sharp as it should have been. Despite taking so much time and effort in preparing the drinks they were really sh***. And I mean sh***. Had better from can. £19 for 2. What a waste. Try the pub. I’m sure you’d get better. No wonder it was empty.

jumped up doorman on an authority trip.. basically told me it was ok for him to let people jump a 10 minute queue because he was the door man and I wasn’t. in the end he refused to let us in because apparently I questioned his job of 105 years when actually I questioned the queuing system and he had no answer apart from “im a counter and i count who came in earlier and who left and then i let them back in” great news for a fire hazard. Typical Short man syndrome.. assumed because he didn’t use a swear word he wasn’t actually being rude! embarrassing when your out with your niece from Brighton for her 24th birthday and are all originally from haywards heath and clearly older then the usual clientele.. suffice to say I wasnt to bothered when he said I wasnt allowed in and some woman that worked there stood in front of him also spouting some crap about policies for people being able to leave and come back in for a cigarette when you can actually smoke on site ..only for him to put the rope across like I was some desperate drunk ready to break my way in there made me laugh .. I mean what a joke! luckily I had already prewarned my niece, I mean it says alot about a place when its the only place in town where they have to serve their drinks in beakers.

Decidedly average. 3 giant tv screens showing football. Is that really necessary Can't say it inspired me to stick around.

Staff were polite and friendly, I definitely preferred the earlier part of the evening because I felt felt like grandma come 9pm

Went for lunch. Table was sticky. Table corner was frayed and stuck down with black tape - coming apart. My beer was poured with a one inch gap at the top. My chicken and bacon skewer came cold straight from the fridge - somebody forgot to heat it up. Yes they topped up the beer when it was pointed out. Yes they heated up my cold food when asked. But most restaurants around there don’t need asking. Major fail.

Brilliant venue. Great food, great range of drinks, fabulous heated terrace. Amazing live music on a Thursday.

Fabulous Roast Beef Dinner! Great friendly service and very reasonably priced! Would highly recommend Savannah for a Sunday Roast.

Had lunch with my wife whilst viewing houses in the area. Nice enough place. Apparently a popular night time venue - cant comment on that. Had burgers and they were fairly generic - not bad but not great. Would visit again for a drink but not to eat.

Great place to hangout friends. Always happening so you can go and enjoy yourself anytime. Good service.

Gina and the team always look after you, it's a great pub to watch the football on the weekends and there are plenty of screens. Band night on Thursday highly recommended too

Went out with my Aunty on a spur of the moment lunch. A few of my friends had recommended Savannah so we gave it a go. As soon as we arrived we were felt very welcome by the staff there was a great atmosphere and the menu was great. I ordered the JD skewers and the lamb kofters, absolutely delicious everything was tip top my Aunty had bacon cranberry ciabatta she loved it. We left content and very impressed will be going back Definitely recommend the food best lunch out in ages!!!

My wife was not allowed to smoke outside at a restaurant across the road so we came here for our coffee after the meal. The staff were chatty and friendly, the coffee was good and we had a nice outside table. A good end to the meal across the road!

I have been there for a meal on Saturday lunch.1 of my friend told me it was new chef in Savannah and I should give it a shot as I be been disappointed in the past.and here I am, having my cider,staff polite and friendly, and I receive my burger and omg...it was so good, testy, a touch of sweet chili or something else maybe, brioche bun warm and testy, tiny fries and salad...I ate lot of burger around and I think, this one became my favourite..and the dessert, a special inside out style cheesecake, not sure what it was but so good again,soft and crispy with meringue and crunch, a raspberry sauce which give a little sweet test to the surprising and delicious dessert.thanks to all the team here and keep doing great.i ll be back for more surprises.

The staff are very welcoming and accomdating when fussy eaters involved. Moved to haywards heath 3 months ago and nearly every week we will come in for either lunch or brekkie the food is just amazing and the chef is fantastic. Suitable for families, groups or couples. Would recommend to anyone !

I came here for a brunch with my family. We used to really enjoy our meals and the atmospher, but sadly it seems to have changed a lot since then. We walked in and I felt uncomfortable that it looked more the end of a night in a bar rather than somewhere nice to sit relax and eat. The tables were sticky from spilt drinks. The floor was filthy. Hardly any comfy seating apart from the booth which was being used by a man. And on top of it all the door was constantly open slightly so it wasn’t just freezing the whole time which meant keeping my coat on but the smell of smoke constantly wasn’t pleasant either. The food was nice and the prices were great! But I think with all the advertising on getting people to come and eat you need to really look at how the bar presents itself during the day time hours. It used to have lots of comfy sofas and seats this was one Random table a few at the side and what I can only describe as where people would dance but at 11:30am should look different. Sadly it’s put me and family off and we will go back to orange square as they certainly present themselves for all occasions.

Previously have only been in for a breakfast but this time we had Sunday lunch – had seen a board outside advertising Sunday roast for £9.95 and decided to give it a go, very tender beef, large Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots, courgettes and cheesy cauliflower and some stuffing. We were very happy with our meal and I’m certain there will be no better value for money in the town. Could have had chicken or a vegetarian nut roast. Desserts were also available, service was cheerful and we didn’t have to wait very long for our food.

Love coming to this place for a drink. Great staff, great music and great atmosphere.

Just back from a charity night there and was really impressed when the whole vibe. Comfy yet modern atmosphere and lit up nicely at night. Will definitely go back

Came to Hayewards Heath to visit an old uni friend, never been to the town before so didn’t know what to expect. We came to this bar as it’s one of her favourite places and we had a fantastic evening. We were served by a young guy called Josh he was friendly, professional, very attentive and my type so an all rounder there! The drinks and food were served super quick and to a high quality, not to mention a decent price for what we got. All in all had a great night will definitely be coming back next time I visit.

I like this bar. But why is a 275ml bottle of Becks blue £4.10 ? Also why are two of the 3 hand pumps Harvey's best? Surely space for a good local bitter.

Great on a Thursday night for live music, the food is nice but as every bar on the Broadway is going upmarket this is becoming run down, little things like the gents toilet never having paper anymore and furniture tired etc. This shows a lack of care and then does not attract classy people, it has become more of a gritty Brighton style venue that only will draw mainly younger people who are used to being treated badly.

Live music night is always fun but stopped going since the drink prices are ridiculous

Went to Savannah cafe bar, I haven’t laughed so much, friendly staff, especially Megan, joe and Martha, felt very welcome and hospitality was top notch, for a good evening out and friendly staff, I highly recommended it.

I had my 50th birthday party here with around 100 guests and had a fantastic evening. As it was a Tuesday night I could have exclusive use of the venue. The staff were so helpful both prior to the event and during the event. They helped me choose a live band, the Bootyshakers, who were amazing, provided music as guests arrived and during the interval, brought around tasty canapés and supplied a superb buffet. Everything went so smoothly and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. Would thoroughly recommend as a venue for a function.

Staff are always friendly and service is good. As a local business we often purchase breakfasts. Have just bought one of the paninis off the new menu which was great value and taste for money.

Popped in here for lunch and a coffee. Price is sensible for a place that's not a chain. Food looked appetising and tasted great. And being on my own the bar staff even struck up come conversation with me for a little company which is always nice in my opinion. Would return.

Atmosphere is better during the week, the weekends seem a bit grim and dirty in the place. Drinks are extortionate prices .. i believe a double vodka and coke was £7.70... music was ok, outside terrace is very nice but so is everywhere else

Good evening. Nice wine with savannah card get £6 off a bottle of wine. Service was a stretch even when only people in the bar. Only after a few hours outside we were offered the table cleaning up, despite nobody even at the bar at all. Not saying we should be treated over the top but basic customer service would be great 👍 Also refused to change the music to something more suitable and enjoyable but "because it's a monday night it's not possible" riiiiight. Could have at least been more supportive of customer views. Thanks for that.

Por desgracia, esta noche yo tuve una muy mala experiencia en Savannah. Tuve un evento social trabajo y terminamos en Savannah para una bebida. Había estado bebiendo agua de soda Pimms y como yo trato de no consumir demasiado azúcar. Me dirigí a cobran 6 libras por esta bebida, cuando comentamos, el 'manager', dijo que esta era la única opción como ella sólo podía entrar como un cóctel. pimms Le pregunté si podía ser introducido como un 'abierto' como generalmente shot no te cobrará por agua y ella dijo que no era capaz de hacerlo. Mis colegas y yo nos quedamos muy sorprendidos y decepcionados por este extraño servicio. El sentido común sugeriría que £6 por esto sería tan absurdo.

It's good fun on the week ends. They could maybe improve their music selection to get people dancing and offer a bit more selection on beers. On the whole though, well worth a punt on your night out!

Bit cramped and not very good for socialising

Estamos cuatro ciudadanos y quizás no es el tipo de cliente es normalmente el Savannah dirigido, pero no nos podemos quejar de nuestra breve parada. Nada era demasiado para el personal de nuestro grupo no podía comer ciertos alimentos, no hay problema, fue atendida.

Me encanta venir aquí en un fin de semana y por el 25% de descuento oferta almuerzo! Definitivamente este lugar de una noche y un día! El último año he estado viniendo el personal ha sido muy amable y lleno de energía!

Always enjoy coming to this bar. Staff are pleasant and the food is also good. It's the perfect place for a quiet catch up/lunch during the day and fun and vibrant at night.

I visited once a few days ago on a Saturday night during my stay at Haywards Heath. It's a quaint and nice place but the variety of drinks could've been better.

After waiting the initial 30mins for our food we were told that they had run out of what we had ordered! The staff member then took our new order which came out a further 10mins into our ordeal. The food that arrived was remotely average and tasted as if it had come from a packet or the freezer. When asked what sauce we would like I ordered bbq but I actually recieved HP brown sauce! Which upon putting on my burger was to late to remove and ruined the taste of the meal even more. I raised these issues to two members of staff who did nothing to apologise for the mess up or offer any sort of compensation. For the price they are charging the service we recieved was appalling and I would advise anyone who was thinking of eating here to avoid Savannah cafe bar 0/10 👎

Whilst visiting Haywards Heath this week, I was looking for somewhere with outside seating and a menu to suit both my son's ans myself when we came across the Savannah. And an excellent choice it was, not only was the food excellent, the service was with a smile and spotlessly clean. Will definately be visiting again on my return. I would highly recommend the lunch menu from home made burgers to lovely chunky chips, garlic bread and freshly baked baguettes. There was only one downside and that was that they do allow smoking at a few of the tables on the front terrace which for me was the only thing I didn't like. Not being a smoker I do not like to have to smell cigarettes when I am out and about.

Some nice lunchtime deals, good food and a reasonable drinks selection.

This is my 2nd visit to have Sunday lunch and both times did not disappoint.Lovely and freshly cooked, proper roast potatoes, Yorkshire pud and homemade stuffing! They even gave us an extra pot of gravy without us even asking.Such a nice change to the chain restaurants along the Broadway.Give it a go :)

I've eaten here a couple of times this year , with friends. It's OK. Varies depending what you order and who is in the kitchen. Cleanliness could do with a lift - tables sticky , loos not v clean .Makes you think about what you can't see ! Daytime mixed punters, mainly 20 / 30 somethings who don't venture much further than Haywards Heath. The Broadway is improving,this venue is lagging behind.

Really enjoyed eating here, you can have a lovely cooked breakfast for reasonable price. Service is good. My partner was offered 20% discount card for food the first time he ate here and we have been back several times. Lovely to sit outside when it's warm. Family friendly during the day but this is a bar so probably not ideal for dinner as it can get very busy.

Came in for breakfast and to get some work done on my laptop.Staff were friendly, and food wasn't too bad.Cheap menu and nice to see a place that does breakfast all day.Only thing is, bit of a strange environment for breakfast. Was expecting to be able to get some work done.. But the music was horrendous and very distracting. Playing club music during breakfast/brunch? Not sure the owners/staff have the right idea there.I at my breakfast which was good value, but left very shortly after to head elsewhere. Sufficed to say my second venue was far better suited for what I needed in order to get my work done.

We visited Savannah for lunch again recently and found it as good as last time. The menu has changed slightly but as we enjoy the all-day breakfast and it's still available, we didn't notice any real difference. It's still excellent value. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere at lunch time is busy and cheerful. I did see a request to order at the bar but the waitress came and took our order - which I prefer.

Really good all day breakfast. It's nice to sit in the booths ready the Sunday papers!We usually have a make your own breakfast which is £1.25 per item so you have as much or as little as possible however the Savannah breakfast for £8.95 includes everything you would want in a fried breakfast plus a drink.Mushrooms and sausages are my favourite. My other half also adds grilled Halumi to his selection even though it's not part of the breakfast menu! Staff are really nice and the food is nicely cooked
