Our last l takeaway was really bad but thought we would give it another try as this last year food has been decent. But it’s a no no no! Chicken chow mein had 3 slithers of chicken, dry no flavour. Hard to swallow! The curry sauce too sweet inedible. They are cutting costs which is totally obvious. Will never get food from here again. Would give a zero if I could!

Best Chinese I have had in years, everything I ordered was beautiful and I will be ordering again very soon. So tasty, meat well cooked, flavours amazing and arrived hot

The best Chinese takeaway I have ever had

First time ordering through Panda Town as we're fairly new to the area. Took nearly an hour and half to come. Food was mostly okay, chow mein and sweet and sour was alright but wouldn't recommend ordering the 1/4 or half Duck. Half the pot was just fat / gristle and burnt bits of skin, but all of it even the meat was slimy. Most places I've gotten this from before you shred it yourself as it comes on the bone, but this was pre portioned in a pot already and just not very nice.

We always enjoyed the food and the service from panda town . I have seen many people buying from there everyday. Also I noticed not all have given good feedback with the photo. I highly recommend this shop compared to KFC, Dominos , kebabs etc... because I have seen many people come to the hospital with food poisoning from all these famous shops , excepts the Chinese or Thai foods. the food from Panda town is amazing and delicious 🤤🤤😋 and it's worth it, excellent in both quantity and quality wise.

This isn't my local but easily the best in the area. Wait time is usually around 30 mins when we order before 6 and everytime I get there, 30 mins later, they are bagging up the food. Only critism is that they can sometimes be a little light on the duck on a 1/4 Peking duck compared to other takeaways.

Our usual Chinese takeaway was closed so we thought we'd give this place a try... I wish I hadn't, it was disappointing. The food took half an hour longer than they said it would take, and when we finally got it it was all luke-warm at best, one of the dishes I couldn't eat as there was barely any sauce on it so it was very dry and what was on it was really thick and jelly-ish, and the chip portion was very small.

The staff is very nice and wait times are short. Food is very good.

I have used Panda Town as my regular Chinese takeaway for over a year. They have always kept excellent standards, provided a very friendly service and delivered quality food. The staff are super helpful and nice to talk with. I recommend this takeaway.

My first time trying this takeaway. Sadly it will be my last. The chicken in my sweet and sour chicken resembled baby piglets - totally disgusting visually and a strange texture on the palette 🤮 not sure if it was even chicken and the sauce was unlike any sweet and sour sauce I have ever had coupled with under cooked vegetables and chalky rice. Yuk 😆 The whole lot ended up in the bin!! What a waste of money! 😾

Much improved over the first time we had PT here, when the S+S balls were barely cooked inside, but the squid was rubbery this time round.

We have been getting food from Panda Town for many many years, 2 years ago we moved over 30 minutes away but we still come to collect take away from Panda because it is the best Chinese food you can find. We have never had a bad experience. All the staff are very friendly, the price is good, and the food is the best around.

I'm going to assume, because it was NYE that what I got is not usual. However, the flavours and food quality might be something more than the just busy evening. The plus points were that the prawn toast was delightful, satay and ribs not bad The chili beef was HOT which was great to be fair. But the seaweed was bland- almost stale, crispy lamb was small and on a bed of salad that was soggy and not essential, the Singapore noodles were tasteless, no sauce, bits of skin instead of meat. The spring roll tastes like oil and nothing else! It took an hour to get the food after ordering, but that s NYE times. I'd not use them again for food because of the taste.

We have enjoyed numerous meals from Panda Town, over several years, from their extensive and varied menu. Consistently great, tasty food.

It was my birthday treat we had a take away. Panda town are always very efficient in taking our order, they have a wide range of choice on their menu, and always enjoy our meal. Thank you for great food and service. I would recommend their delivery service, very friendly, professional and efficient.

The food okay nothing special but ordering is extremely annoying as your put on hold for sometimes over ten minutes.Id rather they didn't bother answering.or it was just engaged.When I order a takeaway I don't want to feel like I'm on the phone to a bank.

I have been getting takeaways from a Panda Town for years and have never had a bad dish. The food is always hot, fresh and incredibly delicious! The staff are always friendly and welcoming too. I cannot rate them highly enough, definitely the best Chinese takeaway in the area.

Absolute joke, don't even bother. Waited over an hour for our order (the driver started 45 mins ago and apparently that's why!!) Not even an apology, they were so rude on the phone and it hasn't even left shop!

Definitely the best Chinese takeaway in Haywards Heath. I treat myself every couple of weeks and get my orders delivered. It always arrives hot and fresh. The phone staff are always polite. The delivery driver is always friendly at the door. This is definitely my place of choice for an excellent Chinese. I can't recommend them enough.

Ordered for home delivery and it arrived within 30mins. Food was hot and the portion sizes were good. V tasty and not greasy. Really happy. Unfortunately being lied to really annoys me. Had lots of decent meals from here. Phoned up told ut was a long delivery wait 1 1/2 hours at 1745. Totally fine as I'd factored that in. However still waiting after 2 1/4 hrs. Apparently driver has broken down and he is going to call me!?! Asked is the food going to come? And will it be cold? Told driver is going to call me. Very disappointing. Food arrived 2hrs and 20mins later. They called and said the driver broke down and they were sending out fresh food. the driver arrived and said the other driver had an accident. Hmmmmm not sure what to make of this. Probably won't use again.

Absolutely everything about panda Town is 100%. Their food is the best we've ever had, when we order the staff are really friendly and efficient and even their delivery driver is a top bloke who goes out of his way for their customers. Really fast deliver too. You will not get a better service anywhere than you do in panda Town. Thank you guys!!! You put other food companies in the are to shame.

My Dad suffers where takeaway is concerned because almost everything makes him poorly, except for Panda Town. The food is absolutely incredible and very affordable for our family of 5! Best takeaway in Mid Sussex!

Have been ordering from here for over 3 years. Easily the best in Haywards Heath and one of the best anywhere. The food is always delivered hot and with a smile. Can’t recommend them enough.

Best food i have ever had amazing service and the all together there was nothing bad. The person that took my order was nice and helpful he helped me order. I asked him what food would he recommend he told me what to have. It was quite full but one thing i liked is the person at the front told me it would take a bit and he is very very sorry about the wait. the food was nice juicy i found that the food also has very good texture. definitely recommend.

Yes they are busy Yes you may have to wait abit longer than other places, but what does that mean?? It's great food and great people it's worth the wait. If you want quick and cheap go to Icelands

It ha s taken me a lot of time and consideration to gather my thoughts and opinions and lay them out across this review. I would like to first of all start by saying thank you, so thank you panda town for such a spectacular culinary experience. This was truly one of a kind and I’m exceedingly grateful. Spectacular is just one of many words I’d use when describing the takeaway I received. I’ve eaten many Chicken Chow Meins in my day but Panda Towns truly and ultimately knocked all the others off the chart. Even the prawn crackers tasted as if they’d been delicately crafted by Gordon Ramsey in a Michelin Starred restaurant. It blew me away not just through my tasting experience but emotionally as well. I have never felt so connected to my taste buds as I felt whilst eating panda towns takeaway. Now I’m going to wrap up my review of the food by mentioning one more thing before I burst into tears of joy and remembrance. The Sweet and Sour chicken balls were unmatched, flawless and unparalleled. It was like I was licking the metal rims of the gateway into heaven. Truly a one of a kind experience that touched me deeply to my core. It was a moment I will never forget nor experience again and will take to my grave. Now don’t get me started on the service, it was exemplary. During my process of ordering I felt like the king of Bahrain being treated to a feast. The food was brought to me promptly and correctly. The service was that of the Burj al Arab 7 star Hotel in Dubai (personally I would say better!). The delivery driver was the splitting imagine of Brad Pitt. His kind words and thoughtfulness touched me again in a way I’ve never been touched before. I now order every evening from panda town in the hopes of seeing this man again, I’m crippled by a ripped away moment of ecstasy and heroin. Last time I order I received an extra pair of chopsticks which I’m currently having framed so I would also like to thank Panda Town for those. They are going directly above my headboard so I can bless them every evening before I sleep. Overall there is nothing negative I could say about my experience. Quite frankly if anyone has anything negative to say about panda Town they are lying and I’d be inclined to offer a 1v1 duel to anyone with an alternate opinion to mine. Once again, thank you Panda Town. I will always be here for you, you are my everything. Best regards and big love xx

Panda town, the only place I know. It consumes me everyday. I cannot stop it is an addiction that I can't seem to break. All day and all night i think about panda town, my wife hates it, she is just jealous that she does not get the attention the same way panda town does. She has threatened to leave me and take the kids if I don't seek help but I'm afraid that is not an option. Breakfast, lunch and dinner I consume panda town even for snacks its all I eat. I bathe in it, I crave it and most importantly I need it. The thoughts that go through my mind about panda town overwhelm me as I cannot be productive at work as all I do is sit and indulge in my one true love. I have now lost my job because of it but that won't stop me as I will stop at nothing to keep my love for panda town going. Me and my wife have not had physical interaction in the bedroom for months now because all I want to do is bask in the rich amazingness that is panda town. I cant live without it and I won't live without i . Panda town is love, Panda town is life.

Been ordering from here for a good while now and i have to say this is one of the best Chinese takeaways around, always very friendly over the phone and when collecting my order, i have never had any trouble with my order and the food is incredibly good. Panda town is amazing and I have spent all the money I had there. If I don’t make the next rent payment tomorrow I get kicked out my house but panda town is all I know. 5/5 stars will spend my next paycheck there.

Rang up to order at 5:45pm on a Friday evening and was told it would be up to 1 hour 40 for delivery which we were fine with, ended up being over 2 hours and the delivery driver told us he was the only one working! Our order was then incorrect and we were missing items, we rang up and they were very rude and tried to tell us that's what we ordered, they also told us that to get a refund we would have to come into the shop ourselves or we could get a discount off our next order, unfortunately we will definitely not be returning.

Good food, wide selection of traditional Chinese food, despite ordering on a busy Saturday night there wasn't much of a wait

I’ve been ordering food from here for a good number of years without any issues, yet the food I’ve received tonight was nothing less than disgusting, all of it went straight into the bin! Called them got told ‘I’ll tell the chef’ no mention of a refund or replacement food! Time to find another Chinese in Hayward’s Heath 🤬!!!!

1 hour and 10 minutes on a Tuesday 😒…and I ordered at 5.35pm! Everything was quite dry except the crispy shredded beef which was delicious. Potion sizes are small! My normal Chinese was closed but I no not to order from here again.… this photo is part of their mixed starter (no wonder why i couldn’t find the seaweed… I finally did 😂)

On balance my favourite of the chinese take aways in Haywards Heath, though none are outstanding. Burgess Hill and East Grinstead have better but long drives. Panda Town has reasonable food for the money but I have found staff quite rude, including frequently answering the phone and putting customers on hold for a long time. Delivery times exceptionally slow, so worth collecting if you're hungry.

Horrible curry taste's like it is filled with sugar had to frow it in the bin and portions very small on most dishes so why so busy for how desperate can all them people be just to get that takeaway grose 🙄

All the dishes we've had have been great and on multiple occasions now. Fast service if you pick up while delivery can be much slower on busy days. Highly recommended.

Never again! First time customer, and last. You know what chicken nuggets used to be like? Never sure what was in them? Maybe not even meat, let alone chicken? Well, that’s what their pork balls are like. I ate a couple of them, but thought maybe I should leave a note about what I (thought) I had eaten for the emergency services in case I needed resuscitation.

Overall a decent takeaway! Some of the dishes use a lot of salt but overall the food is very tasty and reliable.

Had our takeaway last night and we were very disappointed. Very poor quality food. The food was looking awful. Small servings too. Quite shocking. The noodles were stiff and stuck in a lump. The chicken was dark as well as the pork. Very awful.

Drove all the way from cowfold 15mins after opened had a small order had to wait 15mins which is fine as they said before hand young boy at counter taking 2 different orders on 2 different phones, BUT food was awful sweet and sour chicken balls were small, shrivelled and way over cooked, BBQ was like water and burnt taste to it.Way overpriced for what you get

We tried to phone our order in but the line was constantly engaged so we went and ordered it in person. The young lad who served us was very polite and friendly and the food was ready when they said it would be. It was delicious with fresh ingredients. We will definitely use them again.

After my mother was told collection would be over an hour and a half (on a Sunday!) I walked in to place the order and was told 40 minutes (while I was punching in my PIN) and apparently they were really busy, this and also the fact they the lady serving couldn't even look at me and was really blunt like she wanted to get away quick I quickly pulled my card out to cancel my £70 order. I would have appreciated being told the wait time before trying to take my money. I've gone to Burgess hill for what was a very nice meal instead

I've had several takeaways from this place over the last couple of years and have been really impressed with the extensive menu and quality of the food. This is my go to Chinese and the best in Haywards Heath. Hard working, polite and friendly staff as well.

I very rarely write reviews. Panda Town was recommended by a friend and a fine recommendation it has been. Every time we have had excellent service and a great Chinese. The lady who takes my order is so polite and professional, ditto the delivery driver. I don’t know the chef but the food has always been warm and delicious. Keep it up guys!

Excellent food. Had to wait a while but worth the wait.

Tried it o get through to this Chinese on a couple of occasions the past few weeks and both times met with a phone ringing out. We decided to go down there and were greeted by a queue of people who had also given up trying by telephone. The staff member seemed to be doing almost everything alone and I did feel sorry for them... but the takeaway turned out to be average at best.Their panda town special fried rice was really disappointing and not like fried rice I’ve had from anywhere before. It even included olives ! Duck pancakes were the best part of order but the duck was almost minced rather than chopped into nice pieces. Our pork dish had a good kick but the pork was few and far between - mainly vegetables. Wouldn’t order again. And won’t be recommending.

Great food as always always hot can get quite busy so ordering earlier is best I find and most of the time turns up on time

We’ve ordered a few times - they are always very busy and honest with timing. When I call up I normally have approx an hour wait for delivery and they are pretty accurate. Delivery is good. Most importantly the food is great! Fresh and tasty. I recommend the chilli beef

Phoned and ordered for delivery at 18;00 and food was delivered at 20:20 - COLD after being advised would be 1 - 1.5 hours at point of placing order. Phoned you complain that food was cold and they just gave a loaf of waffle and discount off of next order?!?!?! We even phoned after 1:30 hours from ordering to chase and also question if food would be hot and was advised food would be delivered hot- WRONG. Spent £40 for cold take-away that we had to microwave AVOID family business that just doesn’t care about the quality of their food, such a shame.

shocking delivery service - cold food delivered 2 hours and 20 minutes after ordering at 18:00 after being told 1 -1:5 hours for delivery. After complaining that we had to microwave our food we were offered a discount off of our next t order?????? Could be me but why would you order a delivery of cold food just to get a discount off of your next order? A family take away restaurant that really needs to start thinking about their customers and actually delivering warm / hot food. Unfortunately would not recommend if you want hot fresh hot food, such a shame.
