Shame it's gone, we loved eating here. What a loss. Beefeater used to give great value meals and such friendly staff. Sorry to see another great chain disappearing.

Stayed at the Premier Inn and ate here on two nights and for breakfast. Need to give a shout out to the staff who do an excellent job of keeping on top of everything and deliver service with a smile. Particular shout out for Sophie who kept things running smoothly. Food was great.

Came for a birthday meal with friends. Sophie and Nolan were amazing! Service with a smile. There were quite a few of us and Sophie handled the table well. Small issue which was quicky rectified!! Good Evening all round!

Me and friends from work went out for our friends birthday on Sunday evening. We ran into some issues but Sophie our server was amazing! So was Nolan the manager. Very accommodating.

First off Sophie is a credit to this company and should be rewarded. Amazing service and so helpful. Food was absolutely terrible the (soggy food and tasted grim). The girl in the kitchen shouted f**k sake ( appalling ) but sophie made up for it for just being so lovely. Chefs definitely need some training. Don't get me started with the staff member Sara i think was her name. Should not be in charge of anything, no customer service at all (no smile seen at any point). Talking to other customers about us and saying how can we afford our drinks and meal (disgusting). She definitely needs to learn some etiquette. Nolan is amazing and helped out with our problems and was so lovely. To summarise i would come again because of Sophie and Nolan, but will only order drinks.

First time coming here for breakfast. The lady who greeted us was fantastic, so polite and nothing was too much trouble. She was a true asset to the company and has definitely encouraged me to come out my way to come again. Brilliant

We visited as two children and two adults. Food was very nice and presented better than at another Beefeater we recently visited. Staff were very friendly and kept checking everything was OK. Service was a little slow when we first arrived eventhough the restaurant wasn't very busy but that may have partly been due to change-over of staff. Often receive offers which is good as I think £16-£17 for a burger is pretty steep.

Served by Kerrie who despite being very busy looked after us very well. Food was good and reasonably priced and our service was excellent

Shannon was a great host. Very busy and it showed as quite a few things not available. Staff very polite at all times and Doombar a good pint.

Always seems to be understaffed but all staff are friendly albeit service a bit slow. S Food was cooked lovely although £5 for 2 prawns was a bit extortionate I felt.

Ellie is just amazing. Her service and friendlyness is like nothing we've experienced before! And the chefs are great the food was hot and delicious! Can't wait to return!

First time here and very impressed. Karry was our waitress, very friendly and efficient and still smiling near the end of her shift. The food was amazing and beautifully presented. I had veggie skewers salad flat bread and chips, gorgeous . Big portion after mushroom starter. Husband had potato skins which looked delicious and then lasagne. Both our salads were fresh and varied. Very impressed.

Sat for 40 minutes in a corner just for my drinks order to be taken! Was told not to move as am exempt from face coverings and others don't want me walking around them spreading the virus!! I would usually send it back but since it took over an hour to get it in the first place, it was easier and quicker to just get in the car and go get some McDonalds!!Breakfast had a wait of around 20 minutes which is strange since it's already cooked!! Staff were rude and arrogant and when I asked for a yogurt and a croissant after my tiny breakfast of 1 sausage 2 small rashers of bacon and overcooked scrambled egg with no toast that ever showed up, the woman literally walked off as I was speaking to her then spoke to her colleague behind me and they basically said I was taking the p*ss trying to get more food! I paid £8.99 per day which includes anything from the cooked range PLUS anything for the continental range! They both walked off into the kitchen and were not to bee seen again for some 20 minutes when I had to leave for work - so I didnt get my yogurt or my croissant. Needless to say, the value for money was simply not worth the £8.99 per day and I'd suggest just going to McDonalds or somewhere else for breakfast! At least the staff wont be so ignorant!!And just a tip, don't follow the 'social distancing' arrows on the floor, as they simply take you to the toilets- then you get a bolokin for walking through the staff aisle!! Grrrr

We went to this Beefeater after using a nearby play centre. We got there and it was quite quiet but as we sat the place filled up more and more, it is clearly very popular! However, our food came out fast and was delicious, and we were looked after very well. Our waitress was Sophie and she was brilliant. All the staff we came across were friendly and professional. I went to the Acorn on Wednesday morning for breakfast with my 19 yr old son. Great breakfast, and I want to share this positive experience.We were greeted at the door by a smiling waitress and shown to a table, and she explained the process for having breakfast. She left us to get continental food and returned a few minutes later to take our order. Our cooked breakfasts were prepared quickly. It was nicely plated and the eggs were nicely cooked so the yolk ran into the sausages which is how I like it, and it was delicious.Coffee and pain au chocolat was nice too.At £8.50pp this was a really competitive price for breakfast. We will definitely be going back again. It’s a big thumbs up from me.

I visited The Acorn on 22nd July to celebrate my birthday with family. We were greeted by our waitress Lianne who was very nice, polite and attentive throughout our whole visit.We ordered starters and mains everyone and desserts for the children. All our dishes arrived perfectly presented and just and we wanted them. The chef even cooked the children’s steak medium/rare which is hard to achieve for such small steaks. We had a lovely meal and everyone was really helpful and made sure our celebration was the best it could be. The children ordered dessert, we didn’t, but to my surprise I was sent a brownie with a candles and everyone sang me happy birthday! Not only this but they gave me a birthday card :)Thank you to All at The Acorn for making it an evening to remember. Special thanks to Lianne our waitress, Ollie the shift manager, James and Chris the chefs! We’ll be back very soon :)

Booked for late lunch today and was impressed with the customer service on our arrival and at our table. Our server Lianne was so accommodating, polite and very well presented. This was our first visit since lockdown and we will certainly be back because of the friendliness of the staff, especially Lianne who went out of her way to take our order and deliver the food in an exceptional manner. She is a credit to the restaurant.

First time here since moving to the area. Have a dog so was able to sit outside. Service was top notch - better than many very expensive restaurants we have been to - thank you Shyima. Had the tuna steak with salad and my husband had the trio of fish followed by a sticky toffee pudding. All of it was delicious. We were very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience and will certainly be back often.

Staying at the Premier Inn Burgess Hill (Near Lewes) West Sussex for business at the local Boeing facility. Booked my evening meal slot at hotel reception. The adjacent Beefeater Inn provides the meal service and I am pleased to say that my fillet steak with salad was exceptional. Served by pleasant staff (Kerry was my waitress), very COVID safe, nice atmosphere. Quick service and very nice steak. Will visit again.

Three of us met up for a birthday meal, and we all enjoyed our chosen meals. Lovely young lady (Becky) was our server, and nothing was too much trouble for her to help us. This restaurant is our guilty secret and it seems like not many others are using this lovely place. What a shame!

Booked for breakfast, very busy..chaotic, stood waiting for 10 minutes whilst staff( and managers) ignored a large que forming. When eventually sat felt rushed to order. Ordered coral and croissants first, but our cooked breakfast turned up first and was cold where it had been left on the pass for too long,which we sent back, toast cold so ordered some more, it never arrived. Only time we were served quickly was when we asked to pay the bill.

We were having a few days in Sussex and stayed at the Premier Inn next door to this Beefeater. Steve is disabled, and the staff were extremely helpful snd service was excellent even on a busy Saturday. Kerrie was a wonderful waitress!

Great location and great room. Long drive with 2 boys and instantly made welcome and relaxed. The room was very clean and very neat and the shower was perfect for us.
