Unit 2B, Ladymead Retail Park, Europa Park Rd, Guildford GU1 1AJ, United Kingdom, England
This location is consistently in a state of disarray. Tables are never cleared, bathrooms are filthy, bins full, and dishes not clean. It is obvious that the store is understaffed as there’s often a line to the door and maintenance is practically non-existent. The baristas are nice despite working in this stressful environment, hence the second star, otherwise this would be a one-star location.
I used to come here regularly with my partner but will not be back. I hope Costa will see this review and give this store the attention it so desperately needs.

I had a great experience at Starbucks today! The service was excellent, and a special shoutout to Manisha for her outstanding customer service—she was friendly, attentive, and made my visit so pleasant. The coffee was perfect, just what I needed to recharge before diving into Christmas shopping. Thank you, Manisha and team! 🎄☕

My favourite chippy place in Guildford, I'm sure locals agree too as it can get busy. Had Scampi, Plaice, and chips. Tasted fresh and crispy. Waiting time isn't too long, the atmosphere is clean, and staff are really friendly.
Firstly, the staff were very careful with my order as I wanted oat milk rather than normal milk and they obviously take great care over people with allergies. So all credit to them for that.
The young man who served us was really lovely and helpful. Rest of staff were ok but not that friendly or helpful.
There was an icy wind blasting through as doors kept being left open and we discovered that the one leading out of the coffee shop by the toilet had been left open all the time so no wonder we were freezing.
Also we discovered by accident that you had to pay for the car park. There is a small notice as you come from the larger car park further round that it is quite easy to miss. You pay by QR code or you can pay in the shop. No one checks whether you have paid for your car parking. It appears briefly on the tv screen in the cafe and staff weren’t that helpful about it. I tried the QR code as we were leaving but it didn’t work. I checked with one of the staff who said if it hadn’t worked then to leave it. But she commented at the end that if people didn’t start paying for the car park then they wouldn’t be able to stay open. Frankly they need to make the need to pay for the car park far more obvious and make it easier to do so on buying your food in the cafe. Staff should prompt people if they want to ensure people are paying.
Having read reviews of Pho I was quite worried about eating here. However, I found the staff and food both very good indeed. It was quite slow, but was extremely busy and only two staff on duty. Personally, I don't expect to get my food within minutes of ordering it so was more than happy to wait. The staff were very apologetic. The food itself was really tasty and I will definitely be going back here again for dinner.
We went to celebrate my birthday, and we were not disappointed. This place lived up to its expectations and the food / service was impeccable all the way through.
I had the sirloin which was cooked perfectly.
There were a lot of us, and the staff looked after us very well.
If you like your steaks, and traditional English pubs, this is the place to try.
Will be returning to try the roasts which I have heard good things about !
We had a lovely time, the staff were very helpful and attentive (we were a party of 12).
Two small things made the mark down from 5 stars to 4. Five items on the menu were already sold out (at 1pm) and the food came out bit by bit with one person not getting theirs until some of others had actually finished their meal. Also the 2 children's meals were nearly the last to come out - it would be good to get the kids eating first, or the adults can't concentrate on their food.
Otherwise we had a lovely time and we will be visiting again.
Very poor choice and expensive. £26 for two burgers with wedges and two cold drinks. Burgers were horrid. Seasoned wedges barely lukewarm. To add insult to injury there were no condiments or sauces.
Won't be eating here again
