Curry’s were really blend and liquid. Almost like someone just added some water to it make it fill out the portion pot. I was really lucking vegetables as well from our dishes. Egg fried rice was a decent portion but again with lots of flaws. Naan bread really sweet, but good size. There are better indian take outs around. Price wise good, but we won’t be returning.
Consistently the best fish and chips around! A regular for me, and not one time has it let me down! General go to for me is the haddock or cod… Will be going back again soon!
A very pleasant place to able to enjoy a break. Welcoming staff with a smile, clean small independent café, nicely explained the differences in the various parts of the menu and great prompt service. Even anticipating our need for sharing. Pleasantly served by a smiling staff during a relatively busy mid-morning period. Reasonably priced but limited menu. Highly recommended.
Absolutely adore Koja to sit for a while and study or read in the most relaxing, beautiful but simple environment. The coffee is always divine. Always has some lovely vegan food option and oat milk. Love it here.
Very nice roast dinner, good service and good environment.
Portion size for the roast for both kids and adults could be a bit more generous but it was very tasty!
Goodbye Goose and hello Annare. Lovely fresh makeover complete with very friendly mum and son team. We were served by the son who apologised for the delay in our coffee. He told us it had been ready but was sitting behind the counter whilst he served a couple of walk-ins...not really what we wanted to hear. We enjoyed a delicious fresh home-baked lasagne and will definately be returning however they serve Illy coffee which is rather too strong for my liking so will try tea next time.
Food just sat there waiting to be served whilst they took an age to make a drink.
Awful service
No urgency, just really poor.
Drink tasted horrible also to make matters worse.
Lots of choice in Guildford just avoid .
Nice the food good quality only complain about one of think staff smoked cigarette front if the van and next to me I don't like smoke cigarettes and also smell sorry but this is my opinion
This venue has all the attributes it needs to be a top spot. Looked it up as a place to go for breakfast/brunch on a Saturday morning. Arrived, loads of parking at Millbrook car park, the entrance was difficult to find. It has an absolutely prime spot on the river with beautiful decor inside and out. A fantastic kitchen, but no breakfast/brunch as website suggested. Coffee and cake was it. The place was all but empty. After calling out for some service, a chap came out and even advised us of another place in town to go to, which we did. I was SO disappointed. I’ll come and run the place for you if you like! I’ll even cook the brunches if you like! You have such a great opportunity to make this place thrive and yet I don’t see it. Maybe the evenings make up for it?
