Muffin Break in Guildford

Food just sat there waiting to be served whilst they took an age to make a drink. Awful service No urgency, just really poor. Drink tasted horrible also to make matters worse. Lots of choice in Guildford just avoid .

Fantastic food, and great service. Friendly smiles, patient staff and I recommend the Chai latte and spinach and feta tart made on site. Lots of vegetarian options which is a breath of fresh air.

Coffee was great. Sausage roll and sausage bap seemed like they'd been reheated repeatedly. Food wasn't good considering it isn't cheap either.

Havin used muffin Break for many yrs I have become increasingly disappointed over the last few months with the food. Todays my Italian meat in a flatbread and my wife’s toasted cheese & tomato sandwich set an all time low , both were reduced to a thin overheated and burnt mess. The apology’s from the staff seem sincere but no refund was offered and I will not be purchasing any more food from them.

Stopped at the Friary Shopping centre, Guilford to look around. Had excellent coffee and a muffin. The staff was friendly and helpful. A pleasant stop with plenty of tables available.

Amazing food, tasty and looked appealing. Staff was very friendly and felt welcomed. I was not expecting a shopping centre place to be so amazing, it was a welcome surprise

Sunday 6th November 2022, 3.20pm. I was at the front of the queue, and the cashier went directly to the person behind me and served them, then noticed his mistake, proceded to laugh at me, then intentionally ignored me by returning to serving the customer behind me. Horrible experience. I used to regularly visit this cafe with my daughter to enjoy a coffee, snack, and a giggle. Will never go back again.

Cafe’s located on top floor of Guildford Friary Shopping Centre near the main escalators. Being a franchise, food and drink consists of a standard range in all their outlets. Visited at lunchtime and when I went to pay via Amex the chap kindly confirmed they were part of the current Amex “shop small” promotion and so saved me £5 - bargain! Sat in their customer area on mall concourse as in my opinion it’s a better option than sitting inside which looked dark and cramped. Friendly staff/prompt service/great hot drinks and snacks :-)

Staff were incredibly friendly, the tables were very clean and the food was delicious. Their coffee is amazing and I also had a choc chip muffin which was absolutely delicious as well.

I went with my family and the flat white coffee was delicious. The staff was quite friendly and they serve us enormously well and in most appropriate manner...

Staff are good and friendly. Top shelf coffee with many flavour options. After last week best butterscotch flavoured Latte, today tried Cinnamon Latte. Loved it. Try, one of these flavours when you visit here

The flat white coffee was delicious, as was the carrot and apple bran muffin. The staff were friendly and helpful. I sat inside and the tables were clean and the area was inviting. I will definitely return.

I went there with my family and we loved the ambience, coffee and service . The muffins and cake were the best I ever had. I will make sure to go there again.

Been to many of these and the coffee here is nice and a good selection of good and muffins, friendly service too and lots of seating

Excellent coffee with freshly made, generously sized muffins. What is not to like! The service was with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you! A perfect stop to refresh tired legs from a shopping trip.

Uno dei cafe che si trovano all'interno del grande magazzino The Friary. Ci abbiamo fatto la colazione poco dopo essere scesi dal treno. Il nostro primo inontro con i cafè di Guilford. Caro come tutti i locali inglesi, dove cappuccino e brioche costano più di ogni altro cibo, non so perchè. Ambiente piuttosto freddo, niente di speciale.

Glad that I choose Muffin break instead of one of the branded coffee shops . The staff were friendly and good food, coffee . Would definitely return .

After a bit of shopping we stopped there for coffee and cake. The staff was very nice and helpful and food delicious. Would recommend x

I recently visited Guilford town and got a chance to have cup of coffee. Never had a chance to visit Muffin break before. Great place to visit. I love their Muffin with Cup of nice coffee. Friendly staff. I would recommend this place

My wife and I go there for breakfast every Saturday as a treat. My wife enjoys the different muffins with extra icing added as a request. I often have a cheese and onion toastie except recently the onions changed to caramelised which I am not keen on. Due to this the staff will make me a fresh sandwich with fresh onion. The coffee is great and the staff are always friendly. Martine the Manager and Alex particularly have become friends over time. Always a very good experience.

Great coffee and muffins. Simple eating area but a nice way to start a shopping trip. Muffins are always popular with the kids and there is a good variety to choose from.

We nipped in for a snack before the cinema. The coffee was fine but the food was very greasy and the lay out of the place is messy. We won't bother again.

Every milkshake I've had from here is amazing. Like the thick frothy American ones. Always have to pick one up on my way back to the car if I've been in town.

Fantastic service. Delicious ham and cheese toastie. Coffee lovely. Helpful lady at counter. Easy to get a seat. I would recommend without hesitation.

Located in the Friary, just next to Primark, is this little hidden café with good quality coffee and lovely cakes and muffins. I believe they also have few bagels or sandwiches but I mainly came for coffee and something sweet so I didn't go through the whole selection.
