Last Tuesday I had the best dinner I have had in years...yes, really. I've been to all the gourmet pubs in this part of Surrey and this was, to my surprise, the best. The chef is called Adam and he is really really good. I promise you I have no connection with this pub. I don't know the owners, or the chef.
The prices are very reasonable, 30% less than the Parrot for instance, which is up the road. We had three courses including one main which was the most expensive item on the menu, (venison as tender as fillet steak) and with drinks the bill for two was £103.
Unfortunately we were the only customers at 8.15pm on a Tuesday. I just couldn't believe such a brilliant place was empty. (I believe some people ate earlier.
Please please go to this beautiful pub for the best food ever.

UPDATE 2024: Bo-Wah Fish bar permanently closed in December last year. Some idiot keeps marking it as reopen. Don’t waste your time going there expecting it to be open.
Bit of a mixed bag here. The chips were very nice - thick cut, crisp but not overcooked and the service was very quick and friendly. The fish however was not so good - the batter was not nice at all, it was very thick, hard to the point of being chewy and tasted and looked dried up. The fish inside was not bad though. Both were fairly greasy.
I was disappointed to see several pieces of cod ready cooked in the warming cabinet when went in so these are not cooked fresh to order. From the state of the batter I would guess they had been sitting there for some time.
Cod, small chips and mushy peas cost £9.20 and the portion sizes were reasonable for the price.
If you are in such a hurry that you don’t want to wait the 5-10 odd minutes it takes to cook fresh fish then maybe you might appreciate the pre-cooking. I would always much rather wait a few minutes and have food I know is fresh.

Coffees great but the slices of cake are a rip off, you see a full slicw thinking that s what you are going to get, turns out they cut it in half, like mate say it half before u put the price, dont get cake there it s a scam.
Staff are very unorganised and we felt very rushed.
The food is overpriced and not authentic. I am Indian and the food definitely lacked in flavour. Charging £3.25 for a tiny cup of masala chai that was watery is ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend this place as the price is not worth it.
We had a lovely lunch at The Seven stars. We were seated at a super table by a cosy fire, the service was prompt and friendly. The food was fresh and tasty. All in all top notch and highly recommended.
We called in for supper on our way to where we were staying for the night. The pub was small and quiet, but friendly. The one staff member on duty was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. We only had burgers but they were well cooked and fresh and the chips were amazing!
Hadn't been here for years, but popped in for lunch with the family. Thought the pub was lovely and the decor was fab. The staff were so nice and friendly and look forward to returning very soon.
I went on a Sunday buffet day and was very disappointed. First off we were asked if we wanted popadoms for the table to which I said 3. All the chutneys were available at the buffet table to which I was happy to use However they brought a plate of the same chutneys to our table which we did not ask for and were charged £3 per person for the pleasure. When I questioned this at the end the manager became quite rude and when I pointed out that I never asked for them he said well it comes automatically, however if that’s the case why is it priced separately I myself only have mint sauce so I found it very ridiculous . Does a curry automatically come with rice? Or do you order those separately?.
We was also charged £15 for 3 cokes which came out of a 2L bottle and was flat. They also do not show you a price for drinks. I believe they do it cheaper on a Sunday but add on as much as they can to make the most money they can. Found this establishment to be very dishonest and not transparent so will not be returning
Service is very poor - slow and un friendly
Food quality and portion size has significantly declined since my last visit - food greasy and poor taste
Drinks are EXTORTIONATE - £30 for 2 bottles of water, a mock tail and half a pint of beer
Will not be returning again
£7.50 for a bottle of still water is day light robbery, when queried I recieved attitude back from the staff saying “you should have checked the menu”. I always order still water in a restaurant and pay maximum of £5 even in a high end restaurant, and this is not
