Excellent food, although the service was fragmented and not great. Afyer the food came out over a 10 minute period, they forgot to bring one of our rice dishes out. Upon asking, their response bordered on rude. Not great, I will think hard about going back again despite the good food as there are a lot of other excellent options in the area.

What a lovely place to eat. Myself and my fiance went for a meal this evening. We were greeted on arrival and taken to our table. The service was a little slow this evening, however they were busy, however, attentive when at our table.. The only thing we were disappointed with was the wait time between our ordering our food and receiving our starter as this was a very long wait time. I did mention this to a staff member, who turned out to be the owner who couldn't apologise enough and from that moment till we left we were treated extremely well. The food was lovely, extremely tasty, atmosphere very welcomong and we will be returning 😊

Top restaurant and service is impeccable

My husband I are both disabled and I have to use a walking frame but the venue is accessible friendly. We have been going for many years as the food is very good and the staff are always on hand to lend a hand if needed. Tables are well spaced to ensure privacy. Tablecloths are removed after every diner has finished and freshly replaced. There is the usual Indian menu but with unusual extras, in particular on the seafood with fresh phangas biraan which is a delicate fish dish with light spices not usually found in typical curry restaurants and one of my favourites. Vegetable side dishes are priced at £5 and main vegetarian dishes from £8-£12. On Sundays (and I think Tuesday evenings) they have a popular help yourself buffet option which is very reasonably priced and people often go back for further helpings returning piled high! They will tailor a dish to suit if you think it will be too spicy. My husband booked a table in April and mentioned it was for my birthday. When we arrived, the table had candles on it and sparkles scattered over the cloth - a wonderful surprise. The outside appearance of the venue belies what is inside and could do with freshening up - something that is on their future plans. There are also some children's toys outside for the summer months and outdoor seating. To sum up, a lovely friendly restaurant serving good reasonably priced food with helpful staff.

An incredible meal at Curzon. The staff were lovely and very accommodating, the food was delicious, every dish we had was so tasty and different, plus the onion bhaji was the biggest i've ever seen. We can't wait to come back.

We used Curzon for a takeaway delivered to our home and the service was excellent. The portion sizes are enormous so be prepared! Luckily as we were at home we were able to put half of it in the fridge and have a second meal the next day! Recommended.

Best curry house ever.. this is are all time favourite since moving to this area we took our family here to try and they agreed. Services is amazing staff are so friendly. Can’t wait to return 😊

Popped in for a solo meal. Had a chicken biryani with Bombay potatoes. Told them I was in a hurry and it arrived pretty swiftly. Tasted just as I expected, excellent.

Lovely food, as always, beautifully presented, piping hot and full of flavour with lots of options. Very fresh. Excellent poppadoms and naan breads. Service is usually exceptional and faultless, but this time, we felt they were lacking their usual standards. We walked in, started to sit down, and were instantly asked if we wanted drinks. My mother in law politely asked if we could just look at the drinks menu, take off our coats and come back in a few minutes. I was starting to explain to my family how attentive they are, and that this is a great aign of what we had been boasting to them before taking them here. No one came for about 20 minutes, we had to call them back over. Service was very slow, and despite asking several times for clean cutlery between poppadoms, starters and mains, and some glasses for the table water that never turned up, it was slow, but they are always super friendly. My daughter has a new diagnosis of coeliac disease, which means she can not eat gluten. We felt extremely safe here and were given lots of GF options and an explanation as to how they prepare their food. She had no glutening reactions after, which makes us feel confident to return. Overall, it is a lovely ambience and a calm environment. Will return, and hopefully, the service will have returned to what we normally receive.

Prices too high. Drinks too expensive (five pounds for a lemonade, five pounds for a soda). Food now average.

My party of six all agreed the food was very enjoyable however I was extremely annoyed not to be given a free glass of wine after one of the waiter knocked mine over whilst serving us.

I feel sad writing this review but having had amazing curry for years something has gone wrong and this is the worst take away curry I've ever had. I wouldn't have written this review had I been given an ounce of respect in a polite phone call to the restaurant. The potions were tiny. The curry was very poor....meat cooked to an almost inedible state and the mushroom bahji was untouchable, watery and tasted of nothing. We decided, a regular customers, we would simply phone and explain to the restaurant. The rudeness was unbelievable. They processed refund, said 'done' then hung up on us. I just wanted them to hear so we can carry on having decent, local, curries. Such a shame but the handling on the phone (with very calm feedback being hung up on twice) I won't be spending my money there anymore.

This restaurant is a favourite of almost everyone within 5 miles. They have a fantastic delivery service too. Great staff and management - I highly recommend this venue.

I decided to take my wife here for a surprise birthday dinner and what an excellent night it turn out to be. The staff here really looked after us being very attentive with great service. The selection of food on the menu is incredible and delicious. Afterwards brought out the birthday cake we took with the candles and star on singing Happy Birthday when the other ffinnets joined to sign with the staff. When my wife noticed the had reversed her age in the cake she SO impressed with the thought. I am extremely grateful for both the fabulous meal and the fact that they sent me home with a woman half the age of the one I went with! A fabulous night and highly recommended!

We booked a table New Year’s Eve, no where suggested that the price is £65 a head, through phone calls for the reservation and there social media pages and website show that it was that price. The only “buffet” price on the website is £15 ahead. We had to wait an hour and a half for the starter. The food arrived cold and was average at best. The best thing about the place was the Tom jones. We have eaten here before this and it was good, but the extortionate pricing and the poor service means that we will not be returning again.

Food was ok, not as great as usual. Very disappointed about their pricing. There was nothing on their website to say they were charging £65.00 head for the night, even though they're site still says £15.00 a head. My friends and I usually eat there were gobsmacked to be hit with a £240.00 bill for three of us..

It is my local Indian Restaurant so I might be biased. My Favourite is the Onion Bhajee

My first visit and as I don't live in the area I doubt I'll go again, but definitely one of my best curry experiences. Thankyou.

Do not visit. Customer service was appalling from the start. We were made to sit down and wait on the sofas when there was plenty of tables available. The manager then awkwardly told the the waiters “what is wrong with you” in front of us which then made sense as they hardly said a word to us the entire time and I witnessed the poor customer service of other people. The food was okay is taste but came out cold. We ordered a large coke stupidly without checking the price and when the bill came it was £5 for a pint of COKE so £10 for two flat glasses of coke. No apology at the end he just laughed in our face. It is a shame as we have been a few times but will not be returning or recommending anymore.

Had a takeaway 2 weeks ago.11/11/23.they said it would 45 minutes my husband waited another 20 on top of that in the restaurant, when got the bill he asked he that's was right , thought it was very exspenive for 4 curries £84. When we got it home less then 5 minutes away it was cold, also the dishes were only half full and hardly any fish or meat in them. This has certainly gone down hill and very exspenive for what you get. Will not be going there again.

A good meal at short notice. Very courteous reception & service. Reasonable bill for 2 dishes incl. popadoms with enough to take some home.

Ordered takeaway Friday. The house is near impossible to find using only the postcode, so I tried to explain whilst on the phone the very easy process of what the driver would need to do. The phone was put down. The food arrives, barely warm. The taste, quality was just simply shocking.

I have eaten at numerous curry houses within the area and this one is by far the best we have been to. The food was fantastic, soft, succulent meat and delicious sauces. The desserts were really tasty, especially the sobet. Everything we ordered was really nice and of high quality. The service we received was friendly and efficient. The interior of the restaurant was faultless. I shall most definitely recommend it to family and friends and will not be going anywhere else for a curry from now on!

Never seen a bigger Onion Bhaji!

Haven’t eaten here since 2019 and weren’t impressed! Waiter asked what we wanted to drink but didn’t offer us wine/drinks menu! Poppadoms/chutneys came but we were left for ages after we’d finished them - asked waiter for Menu’s but he carried on clearing and re dressing other tables! Another waiter came to ask for our food order but we said we hadn’t been given any Menu’s! He didn’t apologise but ordered us another lot of poppadoms/chutneys which we really didn’t need! When food arrived it was average. Won’t be returning.

Came here with friends for the first time, and we absolutely loved it. Although we did not see vegan options on the menu initially, the staff were so accomodating and pleasant, and checked which specific sides/meals would be suitable. I went for the vegetable biryani, lentil side, chapati and onion bhaji, which I highly recommend... The food was all really tasty, we will definitely be back soon to this gem!

But no they were happy to satisfy their greed by filling the restaurant when they could quite clearly not cope! The restaurant appears to be prioritising takeaways over waiting customers and I’m afraid this is nothing but greed here by the owners. I was appalled that not one person apologised about the wait but just completely ignored us the whole time. I feel the staff are trained not to make eye contact with the customers so they can continue with the takeaway orders ! They have minimal staff. I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant who do not value their customers in anyway and if I hadn’t have had my family with me I would have not paid a penny. Serious customer service skills need to be addressed here along with deciding whether they want to continue as a restaurant or a takeaway establishment!

Absolutely love this restaurant, the ambience, decor and welcome all make the experience so good! The food is always fantastic never disappointed. The staff are always on hand to suggest dishes and all reasonably priced. If you haven’t been go l!! You will not be disappointed

Disgusting. Chicken had bones and tendons. Didn't taste good at all and this is the 2nd time. Won't be buying again. Stay away

This restaurant is a hit from the minute you walk through the door. Fantastic contemporary decoration immaculately kept. The staff are very friendly and could not be more helpful. The menu is different from the average you would normally find but is easy to negotiate. The food was amazing and one of the best meals I have tasted in some time. Prices are lower than I would expect to pay for this quality which is the icing on the cake. Great atmosphere too! Why oh Why have I driven past this restaurant and not been in before. Thoroughly recommended and some!

Very happy with everything! I was impressed from the moment I walked through the door. The decor and the atmosphere is lovely, the staff are very friendly, and our food was amazing! I went on a Wednesday after 7pm so I was surprised to see plenty of other diners because it was mid week - I generally take a busy restaurant as a good indication of what to expect, and I was not disappointed at all. The facilities were clean. The car park was handy, to the rear of the restaurant, and finding a space was easy. I suspect it can get packed here though, as the food was so good.

Absolutely outstanding service and food. Lovely ambience, clean restaurant, friendly staff and food was sublime! Reasonable prices with so much to choose from. It was a Thursday and was super busy but ample staffing so that said enough for us. We loved it so much, we are going back again tonight.

The first time me and my partner came to this restaurant from a recommendation, we were not disappointed. The service was lovely and the staff could not do enough for you. The food was exceptional, one of the best Indian we have ever been to. The food was so flavorful, just delicious. I really recommend going here for a good Indian. First itime at the Curzon and a good meal. Went on Tuesday which is banquet night , busy so worth booking. Good food all round although i would say the portion sizes of the 'meat' in the dishes is small. But for £18 for poppadom, any starter , any main , side and rice you can not complain.

Haven’t eaten the Main had to take it away as they had no room to eat it.. so I can’t comment on that part as yet. couple of things….. my popedom had a black hair sticking out of it but it was exchanged straight away, second thing ask for one starter and when it came we where like that’s for two people as it’s massive, so they need to listen to the customer…and if you order onion bhaji ask what size it is as it’s massive and will feed 4/6 people hence why I couldn’t eat my main as I had no room because I ate a starter. The staff where friendly and very helpful and it was priced fair thank you very much

The food was very good, but, we have been put off a revisit due to the slow service. For example, when the final 2 guests arrived it took approx. 15 minutes for them be able to place a drinks order. Getting the menu too approx. 30minutes from when the first of our group of 4 arrived. All in all, a two course meal took just over 3 hours and that was only with a lot of the embarrassing “hand raising”, asking and prompting from us. We could completely understand if the restaurant was very busy, but it was not. It felt like we were delayed in order to make the venue look more full. Apologies for this review, I did try and email you personally first (info@curzonrestaurant.com), but it bounced back “We tried to deliver your message multiple times over a few days; however, the person's destination email provider has not been reachable or has not accepted this message”. It is such a shame as the food was very good, but …..

Onion bahji was HUGE! One is enough for 2/3 people, food very delicious. The staff had excellent attention to detail and lovely atmosphere. Will be returning in the future.

Sunday buffet was very good. Place is really clean and staff very good. Food was nice and enough variety and plentiful for the price. Poppadoms were extra but that's OK. Rally liked this first visit and will return to do banquet night. Staff were attentive but did not constantly ask if you needed drinks etc which made us enjoy a very relaxed meal. Always someone around if you needed to get anything.

I had a lovely meal here with friends. It was a Tuesday evening and they were still really busy. Service was excellent and the staff were very attentive. The food came quickly despite how busy they were. I had a mixed biryani (pictured) which was really good quality. Succulent lamb, chicken and king prawns. The sauce was far nicer than the generic style one often served. My only very minor constructive criticism was that it wasn’t the best keema naan I’ve had. Slightly too doughy and not a lot of the filling. Overall an excellent meal and I’ll be back! 😊
