Unfortunately due to being late this was probably the reason it was cold and what I did not like was the app saying it was delivered which then I had to phone up to see where it was obviously put delivered so it looks like they deliver on time mine did not turn up till 21:05 so 20 minutes late

I urge anyone and everyone to order from here. I’ve been a regular customer for almost 6 years and never had a bad meal. Food is delicious and portion sizes are generous. When selected text message update…no response Also they over charged for a bottle of Diet Coke; they charge £3.25 however the bottle itself says £2.29

As usual, great tasting food generous portions and piping hot. Do give them a try you won’t be disappointed at all.

We just had another fantastic meal at this restaurant - twice in less than a month! The food is awesome and the service superb, price very reasonable too. There are plenty of vegetarian options for me too, the vegetable masala was delicious! The peshawari naan is one of the best I ever had. My husband had a lamb curry and his dish was amazing too. Food came quickly, was freshly cooked, plates hot - all great, highly recommend!

We ordered ceylon chicken, two chicken tikka masala’s and a butter chicken. The Ceylon was nice. The chicken tikka had a very strange taste that no one liked- we ended up binning an entire portion. Tasted like mustard but that seems unlikely. the butter chicken had no flavours. We also got rice (fine) and a mix of nans all of which were undercooked and soggy and pretty much tasteless. Portions are also small but that wasn’t an issue since it was bad. Won’t be going here again.

Ordered from here a few times and it's always been great but today's order really let me down. It because my go too after a long day at work to help relax and enjoy an evening but after today I'm not sure I'll be back. My order, the curry especially was diabolical compared to what I'd received previously. Truly awful. The naan was gritty lacked filling. They did give lots of Bahjis but it felt like a hollow gesture after opening the poor excuse for a curry. Really let down.

This is my local Indian restaurant. Over the past 20+ years we have eaten there with mixed results. Last night the poppodoms were stale although the pickles and raita were very good. My main, Chicken and Mushroom was bland witthout any flavour. The sides were unremarkable. I really don't know why some people rave about this place. I don't think I will bother in future!

Absolutely perfect meal this evening! Myself and my husband have different spice preferences and you catered to us both brilliantly this evening! We usually share everything as it’s just us two when our kids are in bed, so the extra madras sauce worked out perfectly for us / me when it came to our main meal;He got what he wanted and I got what I wanted. We shared everything else in between and it turned into lovely 3 course feast! Thank you for a lovely meal in! xx

Food turned up cold. had a update saying it was on route and turned up 25 minutes after that

what I found frustrating was my food showing as 'delivered' before the time expired, when in fact, it still had not. food was amazing.

Have made a few trips here recently to eat in as it's very local to us. Have never had an issue getting a table even when not booking. Lovely staff, will advise on the types of curry depending on your taste. Very reasonably priced and delicious food. I am currently working my way up the heat scales to find my favourite dish but so far, all the tomato based ones are winners.

We order from just eat tonight and the food turned up very early but stone cold and the sheesh kebab was under cooked still pink in the middle the delivery driver was also very rude just ding the bell ran off and left in on the floor very disappointed

The lamb tikka masala was the nicest tikka masala I’ve had along a very long time! Absolutely delicious! Thank you!

chicken mushroom soup was a bit to much pepper. lamb bhuna was good tender. Butter chicken a bit too sweet. nan bread not bad

Unfortunately my meal was really not very nice, the saag aloo tasted a couple of days old, hardly any spinach, the rice was vile, hardly no mushrooms, the paneer had a very strange taste, I think it might of been off. Such a shame!!

Food was not very warm and my husbands meal had really tough chicken in his Chicken Chilli Masala.

very last minute decision to place an order at 11pm wasn't sure what to expect but pleasantly surprised, good food with extra rice (unless i got someone elses lol).. masala was on point! vegtable curry had a decent kick to it and the biriyani was full of flavour as always .. still the best Indian takeaway around! thanks guys, can't wait to explore other dishes again 😀

It’s a shame, they’ve clearly changed the chef, use to be so nice here; full of flavour. Tikka masala tasted bland, mushroom rice seemed reheated, bhajis swimming in grease

Sadly my seekh kabab was very bland absolutely no seasoning on it. The rest of the order was enjoyable

Butter chicken wasn’t very nice, it just tasted like melted butter. Onion Bhaji’s & rice were nice though.

Delivery was late- appreciate it was NYD and busy but lack of update on app was frustrating, got food over 2 hours after ordering. When it arrived the starter was cold. The saving grace was the curry itself, which was very tasty

Food was extremely cold, almost to the point it was frozen.

My favourite curryhouse in the area. Always good flavours and spice, with generous portions. The prices are also better than the other curry houses in the area - especially with the extra discounts.

Food was cold Chicken was tuff and there is a difference between lamb and mutton ? Very disappointing never use them again Kema rice was terrible

the order should have been delivered approx 19:10 and arrived at 20:00. the food was cold and the order was wrong. we ordered 2 rice, a sag aloo, a royal paneer amongst many other things and got 4 rice and neither of the other 2. I contacted the restaurant who said they would refund the 3 things missing, but this doesn't help with dinner for my family, very disappointed indeed. plus when I have asked for money back due to delay they say no, the shop was busier than expected. not my problem!

Food is very disappointing we order two different chicken and prawn curry but it taste same, same gravy was used no difference at all. Keema Naan was very disappointing no keema found.

Food was exceptional last night! Everything was perfectly cooked and the new dishes we tried were 10/10! Can’t wait for our next order. The chicken chukka will become a new regular in our house!

I got my meal it was cold and I had about half a kilo of onion in my meal which I don't eat prawns with cold like the Putnam in the frying pan myself

Food was cold, samosas cold and tasted undercooked. Ordered spinach bhaji but it wasn't like an onion bhaji just cold spinach and onion. I've been ordering from spice of india for years but their food has gone downhill so I think it's time I changed.

Fantastic Indian restaurant with an incredibly good value banquet night on Tuesdays. The Naga dish is something else on the flavour scale, if you like a bit of heat. Service is good & food very tasty.

As bad as it gets. The food was atrocious, curry absolutely swimming in oil, completely inedible. Bhajis tasted stale. Popodums tasted shop bought. All round the worst Indian experience I've ever had.

Not impressed with the temperature.. Was cold at delivery. After warming it up in the oven for another 20 mins the meal was great.
