The best restaurants in Canterbury South East

First pub I went to back in 19 dickerty 13 when I was 7, I got wasted on half a crown and still had money for a bag of chips and bus fair home to Edinburgh

Hotel decent enough but they have closed the beefeater, the pub/restaurant is only serving a limited and I mean limited menu to hotel guests only, no draught beers or lagers only an assortment of bottled beers and spirits.....also a bit shocked from the young lady swearing like a trooper in the kitchen at another member of staff (08/10/24) sat waiting for my meal listening to the foul rants, think I'll give this place a miss in the future...I use this hotel a few times a year think I'll give its competitors a trial and hopefully their staff can keep their explicit rants to themselves.....shame really, I think whitbread are ruining the customer experience to appease it's shareholders therefore stress is put on its frontline staff, but still it's no excuse.

Every time we go we love this place. Food is delicious and really good value. Portions are really large. Really love the fresh bread and salad that comes with meals. Staff are really friendly and helpful, especially if you have any dietary needs. Atmosphere is always good, it's a good place to have a family celebration. I keep trying different starters as there are so many delicious ones to choose from...

Good location, good service, no morning pastries, excellent coffee. However, as previously noted by a reviewer the place needs a deep clean and regular daily maintenance. Tables and toilets were appalling. Who on earth is in charge here ?

Accepted takeaway order but then closed the restaurant before making the order then cancelled about an hour later! Leaving a large group with no food! The delivery driver was the one in the end to notify us that the restaurant was closed

The worst fish I’ve ever had and it was sent gone off had a horrible smell to it and refused a refund definitely wouldn’t recommend

We didn't eat but I enjoyed as pink rioja and a glass of spumate. Food looked lush though. Fab wine list and great atmosphere. Great call on the name change too

I've travelled all over the world, and the Yantze restaurant has provided some of the best food and dining service I've ever had. The staff at the yantze have always been kind and caring, delivering the best service, and even surprised me with a memorable conversation from a few years ago, about the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe book series. As you embark on your well-deserved retirement, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful dining experiences you've provided for myself, my family, and my friends. Staff are amazing and treat you like family!! Quality of coffee and food is always perfect. Small but cozy :)

We sometimes get food from here as a treat, we live 25 mins away so it’s not often we use them, but tonight we decide to, order was 25 mins late, whilst waiting they had 3 complaints, 2 for missing food and one for delay, I get home only to find no chilli beef with my order, such a shame as the foods always lovely

Had food here at Tully's Farm. Best Greek takeaway I've had. Highly recommend

Had a lovely romantic night here as a birthday treat with my husband. The manager was friendly and knowledgeable. It was out of season so by 9.45pm we were the last ones there and left soon afterwards to allow the staff to go home. I had the cauliflower steak and hispi miso cabbage as a side. My husband had the mackerel which whilst delicious was disappointing at over £25 that I t didn’t come with anything but sauce. The wine list started at £29.95 - I’m sure it would still make them 100% gross margin if it was £19.95….just unnecessarily expensive in my opinion. All in all lovely but a bit pricey.
