The best restaurants in Canterbury South East

I thought Ala Turka was a Turkish eatery ? Sadly not , Bread was Indian Nan / poppadom type , chilli sauce like bottled non chilli authentic , very poor food indeed and not cheap at all . If you like Turkish food go to Aspendos as authentic Turkish food . Not impressed with Alu Turka , not Authentic and overpriced .

The service was good and the people are friendly but I paid just over £30 for this including the coke and was very disappointed when I opened it up once I was home. Then to make it worse the chips were dry and soft. Really disappointed and genuinely feel like I’ve over paid.

We ordered the lunch deal which was £12.95. Pp. A couple of drinks. Food was good but it wasn't until we left we work out they had over charged us. We chatted to our friends and they were over charged as well. This was addressed but was never resolved. Keep well away.

Upstairs is the place to go for some quiet relaxation... Although not when the church group invades it!

Lovely old pub, good atmosphere and very welcoming, unfortunately we thought out roast dinners were very average. The potatoes were white and the cauliflower cheese was very poor. We all had lamb which was quite dry and not pink like it should be served. Wouldn’t recommend or return for food.

Food was delicious and with affordable price, service was excellent! Will recommend to others.

I've travelled all over the world, and the Yantze restaurant has provided some of the best food and dining service I've ever had. The staff at the yantze have always been kind and caring, delivering the best service, and even surprised me with a memorable conversation from a few years ago, about the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe book series. As you embark on your well-deserved retirement, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful dining experiences you've provided for myself, my family, and my friends. Disrespectful cafe. Saturday the 12 of april. Me and my friend went to this cafe and which was rudely disturbed by an unhinged creature similar looking to this dog in the image that I have attached it aslo has drooled all over my friends plate, potentially, but we have a theory that it was one of the staff that done it. While I was distracted the dog snatched my dog and gobble it violently in my face.

The staff are super friendly, chatty and polite. Always greeted with a smile and the coffee and food selection is great.
