Had cod and chips twice from here. First time fish was very nice chips was OK. Second time fish was not so great, was very oily and tasted like it was cooked in older oil very disappointing, chips again was ok

Items never turned up No answer on phone

Best fish and chips. One of the few chippys here that offer gluten free chips. Even have gluten free vinegar.

Terrible service very slow nothing cooked and chicken put in the microwave!!!!! I was the only person in their and 3 staff members place should close down

Chips cold and without salt or vinegar, fish was very poor and so much oil it was a fire hazard can only assume the large was a goldfish but it was tiny which was actually good as it was terrible, and all of this for £11, highly recommend going literally anywhere else

It took over 2 hours to arrive. Friendly delivery driver and the food was OK but not worth a 2 hour wait, it was all pretty tastless. But ignoring the phone and no apology or explanation why it took so long will be the reason I won't use them again.

That was the worst food ever, I asked for salad for my 2 burgers but they didn't put in any of the salads. The chips was cold and old as well wish I could give 0 star.

The fish didn’t taste right and the sausage was so hard I could have used it as a pencil, just eat wouldn’t do anything about it so won’t be eating from there again , very disappointed

Absolutely shocking service I waited 40 mins for 2 sausages and 1 portion of chips and a burger, burger took 10 mins whilst the chips and sausages took 30 mins to cook meanwhile waiting for the rest of the food the burger was sat 30 mins on the side sausages were just pure grease and a handful of chips when I mean handful it literally was a handful definitely won't be returning Owner was aware I was waiting so long whilst still serving other regular customers which had much bigger meals Absolutely disgusting

Disgusting establishment. Wish i’d read the reviews before I ordered. Like a lot of others ordered and never received our food. Tried calling no answer. Why do you take people’s money if you’re not open / not delivering?? Great way to run a business 😂🤬

Order never turned up. No phone answered. Went round to find the shop was closed for the day. Spoke to local shops to find this wasn’t a last minute decision. So they took my money with no intention of providing food. Had to get refund through just eat.

We did not receive this order, even though it is marked as delivered. We ordered just before you closed, so obviously too late, but as the order was accepted, we thought you were delivering anyhow. We waited more than an hour before giving up. Please can you reimburse as we no longer require the order. (Ps: we are regulars and haven’t had a problem with the delivery or food before.)

Nice fish but ordered a medium portion of chips and when delivered it was smaller than a childs portion so not much to share between 2 adults so disappointing and makes me wary to order again.

Seasalter.. Oh the irony.. In holiday let cottage and no extra saltage available, so asked for extra salt for delivery.. Alas the lack luster floppy batter and soggy and slightly under cooked chips were totally salt free.

Ordered the food on Sunday and payment taken. After 1.5 hours no delivery and no answering phones. Drove to shop and they were closed. Next day they agreed to deliver after some discussions. Why take orders when you are closed!

Not S good as usual, fish was over cooked and was quite tough, food was barely warm, and as delivery was late, I suspect it may have had a long journey.

The food never came they closed up shop and i paid for absolutely nothing.

Waa given an estimate of delivery time which was 30-50 mins, but did ask to deliver ASAP so really pleased it came before the estimated time. Delivery driver very pleasant and polite. Food fresh/hot.

Ordered large cod, received basically a fish finger, chips were cold and battered sausage was over cooked and lukewarm. Lucky you can’t give out minus stars because that’s what I’d have given. Rotten.

The onion rings, chips and fish cakes are particularly lovely. The calamari is not pleasant; it's over-battered and dry. Food all comes in paper bags which keeps it from being soggy and makes it easy to store leftovers.

This is the best fish & chips we have found, the cod is nice & thick in a lovely thin crispy batter, the chips are traditionally cut & cooked. Highly recommend
