Caffe Nero - Kent University in Canterbury

The staff are super friendly, chatty and polite. Always greeted with a smile and the coffee and food selection is great.

It's one of the nicer Cafe Nero's around and Lauren in particular is always so professional and friendly and goes out of her way to help customers.. she's an asset to the company! 🌟

Though this is a small Nero, the staff are wonderful and friendly, the drinks are well made, and the coffee is always fresh. As it is on the Uni Kent campus, it also has a lovely coffee shop/ bookstore vibe and is in the same building as Blackwell's Books. I highly recommend you grab your next cuppa here if you visit the University of Kent campus.

Unfortunately the iced chai tea lattes we ordered tasted of nothing, there was no flavour to it so definitely not worth ordering. The drinks were also warm at the bottom and iced at the top. The pistachio iced latte, again, you couldn't really taste the pistachio flavour. The pastries and cakes were however nice. Lastly, the café being located right next to the bookstore is a plus.

Coming here in the morning to get my iced flat white was the highlight of my day because of Brouk. Not only did he make the best coffees anywhere in Canterbury, he was also friendly, funny, and able to wait on 10 people at a time efficiently. Thank you, Brouk!

RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!! Never coming here again. The bald guy that was serving me was so rude and his behaviour was disgusting. I had offers on my cafe Nero app, he would not allow me to use!!! Where is his common sense!!! The university has to do better!!

Although it is small, the staff make up for it with their fast and friendly service. As it is on campus it is more expensive than campus coffee but cheaper than competitors like starbucks and costa. I highly recommend getting the app if your are a student to make use of their discount. The food and drinks are really tasty. Overall a nice place to grab breakfast and coffee before class in the morning.

This Cafe has the best staff ever. Prompt service and they genuinely are about you as a customer. Couldn’t ask for any better.

The mamager makes this place what it is. He is always so friendly and helpful and takes the time to get to know you. His coffee is excellent as well.

Simply amazing and friendly customer service! By far the best Nero’s I’ve ever been too. The manager makes you feel so welcome and genuinely seems to care. I would highly recommend this place to anyone - it doesn’t feel like a chain, rather a comfortable and cozy coffee shop.

Très bon café, ambiance étudiante, café uni à un book shop/librairie. Des petits coins chaleureux et confortables avec une jolie déco personnalisée. La salle au sous-sol est vraiment à découvrir, plein de charme!

I f****ing love Caffè Nero. They know their coffee. All these other coffee chains are imposters in the bean brewing business. Caffè Nero know their customers want it strong and they deliver. My personal favourite is the cappuccino, foam, glorious, foam and the strong hit of coffee afterwards. I'm also preferential to the iced variety on a hot day. But to be honest I'd have anything on Nero's menu. The service is always good and the baristas know what they're doing. I also like the app as I don't have to carry around one of those flimsy cards. All I have to do is pay, collect my stamps and, if I'm really lucky, gain a phat reward.

Café frío y de sabor muy fuerte. Pedimos un capuchino y en absoluto lo era, ya que más bien era un café con leche malo. Es una pena porque es un local muy mono y muy acogedor para charlar y estar relajado.

El lugar es agradable al estilo Starbucks además tiene al lado una librería, de hecho se accede por la misma librería para hacer a la cafetería, pero el capuchino con leche no tiene nombre de lo malo que es. El personal algo descuidado, cogiendo las tazas por los bordes y derramando el café. No hay aseos!!!

El personal realmente amable hace un esfuerzo real para que todos se sientan bienvenidos. El campus es tal que hay muchas caras y visitantes nuevos, pero el personal de Cafe Nero realmente se desvive por hacer que la gente se sienta como en casa. Los baristas están bien entrenados y la comida siempre es de primera calidad, ¡aunque a veces está fuera de mi rango de precios!

Cafe Nero en el campus de Canterbury de la Universidad de Kent es un lugar muy agradable para tomar un café y un pastel. I don't work at the Kent Uni Campus but often collect and drop off my wife at work there. Yesterday we avoided the traffic and got in early and had time for a coffee at the on campus coffee shop. Having been there before I know the products and had a very good Americano, but the thing that surprised me was the familiarity that the staff greeted the constant flow of early bird customers with, knowing their orders and specific preferences. Happy customers and good coffee. Maybe sometimes you do want to go where everybody knows your name.....

テイクアウトをする分には問題ないが、店内で飲むには席が少ない。ただしソファもしっかりしたものが置かれているのでおすすめ。

The drinks/food are all made to the same standard as other Caffe Nero locations, but the service is very lacking. When they are a bit busy (think queue of 10) you can be kept waiting for ridiculous amounts of time while the baristas have a laugh behind the counter. Perhaps more staff are also needed.
