The best restaurants in Basingstoke and Deane South East

I'm literally still eating this but omg I am so glad I have found this gem of a resturant! Haven't had decent Italian food since being in Italy in 2016. Massive portions, very high quality meat, delivered to my door really quickly and hot. Wow I am so impressed! 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Paid £5 for cheesey chips twice now. Both times chips were horrible, some green in colour horrible mushy/soggy texture, cheap nasty frozen chips left defrosted in a bag for god knows how long. Taste like cardboard, texture like thick porridge. I thought I'd give them benefit of the doubt after the first time I experienced this but its the same again. 🤢🤮

Lovely evening with friends, the food was great and Lucy was very friendly and attentive. It was slightly warm, but that didn’t take away from our enjoyment.

The waitress gave excellent service. Food was very tasty but, only disappointment was the menu choice could have been better & some items on the menu were not available, so making it difficult to choose anything we liked

We were booked into the alpine section that the pub had added on for Christmas. This section lacked atmosphere. We were expecting it to have a warm, cosy feel, but it missed the mark. It was quite chilly and brightly lit. We moved tables as the wind was blowing through the marquee. We ate with our jackets on. Not the experience we were expecting.

Honestly we had best Indian taste after almost 2 years , I'm obsessed with Spice Tadka.The food is consistently delicious, and the service is always top notch ,The menu has a great variety of options, and the prices are very reasonable. I've been going back again and again, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Indian food! I would appreciate the efforts of Daljit , Jaspreet (very sweet ) and all the staff member , Must visit if you like Indian food .

A hidden gem in Basingstoke! This bar serves up tasty food and has a selection of board games for some laid-back fun. Perfect spot for a casual night out with friends!

Went along for a Christmas Wreath workshop. Fabulous, fun, lots of greenery, lovely creative support. Mulled wine chox, mince pies, and the bar was open for wine, what more does anyone want? Can't really rate the food, but 4 stars for the mince pies and chox!

What a lovely cafe! Stopped on here after a walk. Great selection of cakes! Lady serving was very friendly and helpful! We will definitely go back again!

Kept repeating details as was too focused on listening to people in the shop. Took far too long to order

I called because I was unhappy that there was no meat in the shredded beef, it was just coating. I was laughed at, shouted at, went on a rant about to me about how he’s been cooking since the 70s. I was nothing but polite and respectful so I didn’t deserve that at all. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Especially food was flavorless anyway.

Great pub in a lovely village setting. Plenty of parking. Extensive menu choice and consideration given to all types of food allergies and intolerances. We had a delightful lunch and i will certainly return again.

Very enjoyable meal - and the sourness of the lime pickle gets 15/10.
