Smiley's Kebab in Basingstoke and Deane

Had a Halil Special the other night, great taste, great portion. The lamb shish , chicken shish with rice is also highly recommended.

Delicious kebabs, and the portion sizes are very generous- like Halil! Upon arriving we realised it was cash only. The absolute gent said just to pay it back when we can. Offered us some sample chicken fresh off the grill too! Highly recommend for the service alone- the good food is for sure a bonus.

Found myself stranded in Basingstoke after my company vehicle broke down. Had to wait 8 hrs for a breakdown recovery. Unbeknown to smiley's i an diabetic. I had no cash to purchase any food and was unable to leave my vehicle. They provided me with food and drink and their generosity was top notch. It is reassuring to know that there are still people looking our for you .

Waiting over 1 hour 40 minutes and it wasn't nice atall chips where like mush sggy and cold and meat thick and uncooked. Would not recommend

Smilies kebabs are absolutely legendary in Basingstoke, this is definitely the best you can get. Smiley himself is a true gent and his staff embrace his style of cooking which you will know once you taste his menu. Take my word for it this is the best kebab van in Basingstoke if not the best in Hampshire.

Great kebabs, and staff are friendly and hard-working. Portions are large, and price is very reasonable.

Said would be just over a hour called back l it was over 1 and half hours they said we have ran out of meat so we got to put new one on they said we be 20 more minutes will give u a free drink waited 30 minutes turned up got meal no free drink like said and meat was half from old and half new couldn't eat it the lettece couldn't crew it and pita bread was soggy. Used to be much better then this it's gone down hill

Food standard changes everytime , sometimes amazing , sometimes rubbish , sometimes overcooked sometimes under cooked, sometimes hot some times cold. Gone done hill over the years, staff pleasant

Great service, food and portion sizes

Complete waste of time, made an order at 8pm on a Friday night took 2 and a half hours to then cancel. Its now 22:46 and im going to bed hungry. Absolutely useless and will never use these again

The best in town, great service

Popped in to Smileys after a day's work in the rain starving and ordered a Chicken Wrap with salad. The Wrap was lovely and the service even better. Will definitely visit again. Thank you so much, see you soon.

Very Friendly, Polite Staff, with Passion for what they do. Their Burgers are nice, & hardly any Grease to them. Smileys Chips are Very Good. Donor Kebab is Best I've had. Chicken Nuggets are Moist, yet Crispy and full of flavour. (Amazing) I've had many trips to Smileys, and have even had food delivered by them. Smileys have always provided Very Good Quality Food, and the 2 young lads there provide amazing Customer Service. Smileys Do Deliver, and their drivers are always Polite, friendly, and deliver the food on time. Whether it's delivery or collection I highly recommend Smileys Kebabs.

Quick service, generous portions

Just recently had chips and they are fantastic I would say they are now the best chips in Basingstoke I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR CHIPS 👍

Delivered quickly, although doner meat looked anemic and undercooked and swimming in grease. Not a fan

We ordered a Triple Mix this evening, it consists of dona chicken and lamb with salad and rice or chips. Enough for 2 people and it was lovely 😍

Top kebabs and their burgers are really tasty. Friendly staff too.

My husband had a lamb shish. He was disappointed after hearing good reviews, the rice was plain and very boring, the salad was more onions than anything else and the lamb tasted odd almost like it was off or on the turn. He had a few mouthfuls and ended up throwing it away as he didn't trust the taste. He was ill very early morning, so i think his instincts were right. I cannot comment myself as I didn't have anything from here. Unfortunately after his experience my husband won't be ordering from here again :-(

Went in bin in end chips not even cooked .. doner meat light grey cold well under cooked .. food wasn't even warm would not recommend very disgusting food 😤

The worst chicken doner !!! Poor quality !!!

I have been going here every Friday for the last 5 years. 100% the best kebab in Basingstoke. Fantastic service from the lads is always guaranteed. The Doner is succulent and tender, fresh salad and the chilli sauce is homemade - spicy and delicious. Chips are always fresh and crispy. Would highly recommend Smiley's, I'll certainly keep going back every week.
