I've been going regularly to this pop-up stall for the last 5+ years. It is one of my favourite places in Basingstoke to grab something to eat...it's just a shame it is only around on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I would probably go here far more often if was open all week. Highly recommended if you catch them in town. This is definitely THE place for Thai food in Basingstoke...I haven't seen anything this good since Kwai 2 closed down in Lychpit. It is authentic Thai food with great variety of choice. I will usually buy some Moo Ping (pork skewers), chicken satay or fish cakes if I am after a bite of lunch; I buy the Chicken Massaman if I want to buy something for dinner. The aromatic and natural flavours are definitely different (in a good way) from the Asian "chain" eateries in Festival Place. It's as authentic as it gets. The servings are very generous and prices represent value for money...they could put the prices up a bit and it would still be decent. They only take cash so you need to come prepared...the only cash I have around in my room is literally just a fund for this place. The only downside is that there is often a 5-10 minute wait to be served as they are very busy. I think this is a combination of them being very popular but also service being relatively slow. I have sometimes baulked at the queue and regrettably had to eat somewhere else due to time constraints.

We visited as our halfway stop in both directions between kent and Devon and what a cracking find it was! Set in beautiful park perfect for letting us and the dog stretch our legs before sitting down to enjoy some lovely lunch and hot drinks. The staff are absolutely lovely and remembered us from our first stop. Very dog friendly and brought our dog some water. Clearly a family run, communi5u spirited venture. Lovely seating outside perfect for a summers day. Highly recommend.

As always a warm and friendly welcome, this evening was a roast ham, with a tasty cheese potato and onion pie. Bravo Chef Graham, bravo

A really lovely pick me up when I was in a bad mood waiting for the bus because I got new glasses and they look crap. Cheese bean sausage melt to die for. Wish I could go back in and get another but trying not to be a complete fatty.

Popped in for a coffee as had 20 minutes spare before my bus. The cakes looked divine although resisted as I am on a diet. Ordered a skinny latte. Amazed it was only £2 and then £1.80 with my Festival Place card. Much better value than Costa Starbucks and M&S. Can thoroughly recommend.

Me and my friends with in to eat 2 weeks ago,(from when I’m posting this review), it was very busy, the server got our table ready after 10 minutes of waiting. WE WERE WALK INS - NO BOOKING so we were happy to wait. Nice atmosphere, feels like Nepal specially for someone who hasn’t been to Nepal in a long time, this felt like home. Drinks very nice however mango lassi was a bit off which could have been nicer but everything else was good. Food was extremely tasty, thakali set was just amazing. That hit all the flavour buds in our tongue. It was very tasty however we didn’t ready the menu clearly as it states that you have to inform the waiter of your spice level. We didn’t hence is why our food wasn’t as spicy. Other than that, it was just top tier. We will be back. Hope you succeed.

It's my first time dining here, and this is one of the best Indian food I've had in the south of England The flavors are bold, rich, and well-balanced, with a clear South Indian and Keralan influence shining through. Every dish is beautifully spiced, fragrant, and cooked to perfection. An absolute gem of a restaurant—if I'm in town, I shall be back. 3 stars for atmosphere as I was there early on Thurs . Big space and not so busy yet. But no fault of the decor and music.
