The best restaurants serving Indian food in Eastrop Basingstoke and Deane South East

This is some of the best, not to mention most authentic, South Indian food I have ever tasted in the UK. I arrived here by chance having walked a mile or so in the rain to find the Balti house I had intended to eat at was closed. Initially I was sceptical but I needn't have been, whilst the food might not be your typical "curry house" fayre (which is what I was hankering after) it was very hot, very fresh and the flavours were amazing, added to that the place is spotless and the staff are brilliant. I'm only in Basingstoke for a few days but I'm already considering returning for dinner tomorrow night - it was spectacular! Not forgetting a special mention for Srinu and his team who provided excellent service throughout - thank you!

Have dined in and had takeaways several times from here and it has never disappointed. Best Indian in Basingstoke

Stopped off for dinner on way home - very pleasantly surprised. - charming attentive staff and wonderful food - highly recommend

We were crammed into a table, despite two thirds of the restaurant being empty on a Friday night. Despite firm pressing, we weren't moved. My dish was average, not enough in it, more sauce than anything else. I wouldn't visit again.
