Food was hot and tasty. Dissapointed that there wasnt very much chicken in the sauce hence the reason i gave 3 stars on quality. Very polite delivery driver!

The biryani’s we ordered were not biryani’, they were very plain, there was Minimal veg or meat in them. Very disappointed! Veg curry is literally just curry sauce with frozen carrots and peas. I ordered 2 rotis and they are literally just flat breads. Big shame!

Tandoor lamb chops + generous salad and a nan very delicious hit the spot. I am not a local but the quality and main portion was great -- dining for one but i am sure the rest of whats on offer is just as good for couples and family

I have mentioned that note to give me a call and didn’t receive any call from driver and the food was Soggy and cold it’s waste of money and time after waiting for an hour getting the cold food is ridiculous after spending too much money for food and waiting not worth it Never for anyone

MY FOOD WAS TOTALLY INEDIBLE AS SEEM TO CONTAIN A POT FULL OF SOME KIND OF 'HOT ADDITIVE - I COMPLAINED TO JUST EAT AND THEY BASICALLY SAID SUCK UP THE £25 PAID FOR A TOTALLY INEDIBLE MEAL

Never turned up, ordered at 20:45, called restaurant at 22:00 to confirm delivery was on the way. They agreed it was. Order never turned up at all. Absolute waste of time. Awaiting Refund.

we've ordered from you a few times but this time the food was delivered over an hour later than it said on the app. when we phoned we were told the delivery driver was stuck. I'm not sure this was true as surely the food would've been cold when it was finally delivered. The app said delivery would be by 20.45 but it arrived 21.50. We have kids eating with us it's caused some issues there. Not a great experience 😔

Authentic Indian food with a touch of theatre. If you're looking for a truly unique and polished Indian restaurant you should book your next night out here. The flavours of each course were truly incredible. They have a part of the menu which is signature, I would class as experimental a touch of high end restaurant dishes. One dish required us to fuse elements of the dish together and to be consumed as one bite. It was like nothing I have experienced before. That touch of theatre really started the night off and we will be coming back again very soon. .

Pretty stale popadoms, mango chutney seemed to be rationed. Curry as usual amazing flavours, food hot on arrival. Will order again.

Only received one rice but ordered and paid for two, please organise refund of one rice (restaurant are aware)

Food was average at best and not hot. Ordered the food at 1837 and it eventually arrived at 2045 after sending a message, calling the restaurant, and then at 2040 having the delivery driver call to say he couldn’t find the house. The rice was very wet, the samosas were very dry inside, curry’s were not very flavoursome.

Never came , driver couldn’t find address I waited 60 minutes in the rain on the side of the main road. I want the delivery charge also repaid.

Food was exceptionally tasty for a takeaway curry and will be bringing the curry club here for the full experience and freshness. The delivery time was quicker than advised by the app which was excellent.

What happened? 2 lamb rogan josh and 1 pilau rice. The rogan josh was very very watery more like a soup! The rice portion was so small it was bearley enough for 1 let alone 2 people and all this for £30? Sorry but no I know I can get better elsewhere and that's what I'll do.

Ordered 2 mango chutneys only 1 arrived. Food was warm despite only being minutes away from town. Had gone cold by the time I was finishing. Should have been piping hot living so best surely. Unless I was delivered to on the way back in.

Hardly any chicken just to much sauce

Went on the festive occasion there was a buffet ,had some real authentic Indian food rememberd me of my home back in India ,specially saag and makai ki roti was fabulous ,staff is friendly and helpful excellent service ,will be back again and highly recommended.

Spicy Tadka catered for our daughter’s party this weekend and did an amazing job. They were prompt, the food was excellent and we received so many compliments. I highly recommend them for any functions you may have.

The food taste and quality was not up to the mark today. We have eaten multiple times in spicy tadka and taken delivery too. Today the breads were not soft and it tasted just flour, bland and malai kofta tasted like kofta in tomato puree, highly dissatisfied

Arrived 30 mins early which we had no problem with. First time ordering but won’t be again. Lamb was very dry and tough. Naan bread was more like a flatbread. Tiniest portion of mango chutney ever (third of the size of any where else I’ve ordered) and the mains didn’t taste nice either

We didn’t eat in the restaurant, we ordered for home - despite the food generally being really nice we were disappointed having spent just under £40 for what we received… 3 king prawns alone was £10 which was the same as my partners chicken tikka..

The food wasn’t great. The poppadoms were soft, the Tarka Dahl was not Tarka Dahl - too thin, not cooked down - and my partner says his madras was watery and flavourless. We have it another go because it had been a couple of years since we ordered, but it was as bad as before unfortunately!

Without a doubt the worst lamb biryani I've ever had! Hardly any lamb in it and the small amount that was there was very tough and not lean, fatty and gristle. It was also under seasoned and bland. The naan was good but overall a Very disappointing takeaway.

I enjoyed my meal from spicy tadka , flavour was good , just the right amount of spice , based on this meal I would order again , food was piping hot.

I know everyone has differences of opinion but I wasn’t impressed by this Indian at all. I tried for the first time as they are now an “Award Winner”. However , everyone in my house felt this wasn’t a nice Indian at all. We both found bones in the chicken, the flavour wasn’t great at all and it wasn’t even close to the taste of other Indians I have had. All in all we will not buy from here again as we felt the quality was just poor compared to others.

Took over an hour to arrive and by the time it did the food was cold , very sloppy Rogan Josh was supposed to be a tomato based curry yet it was brown and had tikka chicken in it , I was not happy with the taste , I’ll not be back

Excellent. Lovely range of vegetarian dishes especially, and owner really knowledgeable about the food and different dietary requirements etc.

Selected due to a good range of vegetarian choices, I was not disappointed. I opted for a paneer jalfrezi, saag aloo, garlic rice and garlic naan. The paneer was the best I’ve eaten in a restaurant to date.

First time ordering from Spicy Tadka. Delivery time instantly changed on confirmation and food arrived barely warm. Naan was decent, tadka dal was ok, but that was the worst biryani I've ever had. You can see it hasn't been mixed properly but there's barely any flavour to speak of. Will not order again.

I have been here with work several times. The food is really good and service exceptional. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone.

Unfortunately the food was not particularly hot on arrival even though it arrived on time. The Shashlik chicken was a little salty (2/5), Saag Aloo was tasty (5/5), Chicken Rogan Josh (3/5) as there was not a lot of vegetables, mainly just chicken and sauce, and the Chilli Chicken main was very tasty (5/5). Would likely order again, but maybe something different on the menu.

An hour and 40 mins late and they tried to say it was already delivered when it hadn’t been and tried to argue at the door about it.
