As always a warm and friendly welcome, this evening was a roast ham, with a tasty cheese potato and onion pie. Bravo Chef Graham, bravo

A delicious roast from Chef Graham, he served a tasty rump with cornish sea salt and crushed black pepper, obligatory Yorkshire Puddings, seasonal vegetables and meaty gravy sauce to accompany crispy and light roast potatoes. A must visit venue.

Beautiful roast dinner this evening, a great host with huge apologies for the absence of Yorkshire puddings. Sadly no high chairs again.

The best fish and chips I've had for a long time. The food is excellent and the staff very welcoming especially Sam and the lady with her. A lovely place to meet up with friends.

Party of 10 from 3 to 83 and service, food and play facilities for the little ones was fantastic !! The olds could chat knowing the little ones were safe in the play area as large windows overlooking !! Carvery was the best I’ve had in a long time and portions of meat were very generous !!! Staff were polite, friendly and above all attentive !!! The redheaded waitress did not stop smiling and so friendly as was carvery chef !!!

What an amazing pub! We had a lovely roast dinner, homemade pie and burgers. None were run if the mill and definitely all freshly cooked. The puddings were lovely too and not too ostentatious, simply lovely. The service was friendly and relatively quick considering how busy they were. Atmosphere was a good country/village pub, pets welcome, decent price and definitely deserved tipping. We will visit again!
