The food was absolutely incredible—authentic Turkish flavors that transported me straight to Istanbul. The kebabs were perfectly grilled, the lamb tender and juicy, and the spices just right. The mezze platter was a fantastic start, with creamy hummus, And I can’t forget the fresh, fluffy pita Overall, an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Turkish food, this place is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Honestly one of the best restaurants in Basingstoke. Incredibly generous portions, tasty food, and attentive service.

Stumbled upon this restaurant, came for Saturday lunch. We ordered the mixed grill platter for 2 people. It was absolutely delicious! The meat was so juicy and flavourful, not too salty. The rice and the salad that came with the platter complimented the meats very well. The waiter (Murcel) was very kind and easy going. Loved the decor of the restaurant!

This is now our third visit here and we still can’t fault the meals or the service from all of the staff. This occasion was for my daughter’s 20th and they went out of their way to make her night really special.

We came from out of town and decided to try here, very glad we did. The best Turkish and Mediterranean food, all of it was good. The lamb kebab was the best we've ever had, moist, tasty and cooked so well.

Our first visit to Meldiz and we we certainly come back. The table service was excellent, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food came out it good time, hot and very well cooked. The presentation and taste were excellent. The best meal our we've had in a while. Highly recommend.

Called in a quiet Monday night. The restaurant is immaculate and well presented. The food is excellent I had the Sucuk which came with hummus and frsh garlic bread. Followed by mixed kebab which was amazing. Great service to top it all off too. Reasonably priced would highly recommend and will be back soon.

We have dined at Meldiz many times, as a couple and in large groups and the high standards Mursel has achieved never waiver. The service, staff and the quality and variety of food and drink is second to none. Meldiz is easily the best restaurant in town.

Very child friendly and a warm ambiance, personalising the experience as soon as you step into the restaurant. Loved their calamari and lamb chops. The complimentary apple tea was divine

First try of Turkish food and the food is so yum. Especially like the salad which is tasty and fresh. Service is excellent. Definitely will come again.

Everything was amazing! The meats on the mixed grill was all super flavourful. The hummus kavurma and smoked salmon carpaccio is perfect for starters, not too heavy, not too overpowering. Tea was excellent! Baklava was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Definitely worth a visit!

I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the serving size of the mixed kebab was excellent. I adored the Turkish Tea, please try it! I couldn't recommend it more.

Fantastic Melanie. Very accommodating. I have an allergy to peppers but didn't mention it as I just ordered food that I knew didn't contain it but the waitress overheard our conversation and the manager came out to check my allergies and to make sure my dishes did not contain anything.
