This is my favourite restaurant in Basingstoke! The food is always excellent (I love the Lamb Beyti) and the service is always amazing as well. Also has incredible wine and desserts and lovely staff.

We’ve been here a number of times and it never fails to impress. The shared mixed grill is fantastic, service is superb. Cannot fault this place. Definitely recommend.

Meldiz definitely deserves 5 stars. 4 of us dined and had starters, main and drinks. Amazing service & host, fantastic tasty food that was well presented and attention to detail on every front. We will definitely be back. I would 100% recommend, delish!

Lovely restaurant sat in the window table with the open window Food cooked to order had a wonderful mixed kebab very tasty with a fresh salad and yoghurt and hummus. Followed up with cheesecake which was delicious. Generous potions waiter attentive and followed meal with on the house Turkish tea.

Fantastic food, very well presented, and the service was phenomenal. The staff genuinely go out of their way to make your experience memorable. As cliche as it sounds, for our late afternoon lunch we really felt like we were in Turkey for an hour, we'll definitely be returning next time we're in Basingstoke.

A wonderful place, great service, very freindly, good atmosphere. Food is amazing, have been here many times and always come back for more. I had a delicious chicken baiti and tiramisu. Can't recommend enough. Even got free complementary dips and bread before our meal and complementary authentic Turkish tea .

Came on a quiet Wednesday night…the restaurant was quiet. However the food and the service were excellent ( the mixed grill is fantastic)! Staff polite and attentive but not intrusive…..We will be back!

I will put this place as one of my favourites. Starting with food, and then staff service and friendly and then the atmosphere..everything was fabulous. They even prepared a surprise cake for my daughter, and they came singing, when they heard it's her birthday.

The best turkish restaurant in town. I have a turkish colleague who swears by this place, and he recommended it to me. I have been twice and love it. Not the place to go if you're on a diet! Great service, great food, and in general decent prices too.

We visited Meldiz Turkish restaurant in Basingstoke with my family and had an exceptional experience. We ordered two starters and four main dishes, all of which were delicious. The owner and the waitress were incredibly friendly and attentive, regularly checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place for a delightful dining experience!

The food was absolutely delicious, big portions at a good price, sampled the apple tea and chocolate moose which were equally as tasty

Food was amazing, was my best friends birthday and they made a chocolate mousse from scratch for her, will be coming back!!!!

I will never again go there. The owner kept coming repeatedly asking if we need anything more like drinks or any other food item. I appreciate that courtesy and customer service formality, but as soon as we said no, he would take away our drinks and food that we haven't even finished yet. This is my third visit and such repeated behaviour is not acceptable. Each time it's become too frequent with every one of my guests becoming annoyed about this as well. Never again.

I recently visited this restaurant and was absolutely delighted. The food was incredibly delicious, true Turkish cuisine at its finest. The service was impeccable – the staff were attentive and professional. I especially want to mention the owner – very friendly and welcoming. It felt like we were in the heart of Istanbul. We will definitely be back!

Lovely food, portion sizes very generous, especially starters, although you are offered a doggy bag. Have the Meldiz Special Mix for 2 people, absolutely lovely. Will definitely return.

The atmosphere is amazing. Cozy devour with subtle music that doesn’t overpower the conversation. The staff were incredible, always happy to help and always accommodating. Delicious food and portions that will make your eyes bulge. Finished with amazing Turkish tea and a friendly farewell. Made our night. Get the Beyati, you’ll thank me later.
