First time dining here and the food was delicious. Dahl was nice but a little bland and could of been more spicy. Thought the poppadoms were a little pricey and the rice portions were quite small. Chicken and lamb dish was tasty. Trio of desserts was scrumptious and my favourite was the tiramisu. Would return and recommend this restaurant.

I was a bit dubious as the last time I visited was when this was "The Cricketers" many moons ago - but the service was excellent with a a lovely server lady. I did order Lamb biriyani but got vegetable - but no big deal! I did not complain as the food was excellent - and I have made many mistakes in my life, so a basic one can be forgiven! The staff were attentive and the ambiance was good. I was pleasantly surprised, and would definitely recommend the Elephant and would go back there without hesitation. Thank you for a lovely meal

I absolutely love the Sunday Buffet that is offered at this lovely restaurant. We have been about 6 times already and each time have been blown away by the variety and quality of the food on offer, especially at the price. Abbs (the owner and possibly the head chef?) always has a friendly word and always makes sure we are well looked after. I personally like that I can bring my little dog with me (we sit in the bar area then!) as this means we can walk to this venue. I also like the pool table and the quiz night! Highly recommended

The Sunday Indian Buffett is absolutely amazing value for money! For an Indian Buffett you get such a wide range of started and sides with many new dishes I have often not heard of or tried before, they also seem to try and switch the dishes up very so often which means no matter how many times you go back you won’t get bored!! The main curries themselves are always full of flavour and again you get a nice array of different curries, meats, flavours, and levels of spice so will always find something for anyone to enjoy! They have your classic chicken tikka masala and korma but often a couple others to try aswell! All the dishes taste wonderful and you can tell they are homemade and not bought in bulk and just warmed through! It’s a smaller sized resultant so the Buffett dishes are smaller sized however always kept topped up and this means the food you are getting os often quite fresh and hasn’t been sat around for hours under a heat lamp!

Great atmosphere, lots of choice of dishes on the Sunday buffet and staff are great would highly recommend . Reasonable prices .

The restaurant is in an old pub and is warm and welcoming. The menu is extensive and varied with authentic Indian dishes to appeal to every palate. The proprieter and staff are friendly and the service is excellent. My husband and I are now regular diners.

Highly recommend this place for hearty, lovely comforting Indian Cuisine. Recommended by a friend and knowing it was the same team behind one of my favourite places to go made me more eager to try it. It has an array of drinks on tap to choose from. The team are really friendly and happy to have a catch up. Can’t wait to come back and try it.

The food was the great, the service was fast and efficient and topped off with a friendly, family orientated atmosphere. Will be frequenting this place quite often in future
