Popped in for a coffee as had 20 minutes spare before my bus. The cakes looked divine although resisted as I am on a diet. Ordered a skinny latte. Amazed it was only £2 and then £1.80 with my Festival Place card. Much better value than Costa Starbucks and M&S. Can thoroughly recommend.

Great pub, full of older bikers when we arrived on a Sunday lunch time. Lots of big noisy bikes, but all friendly folk. Not a biker myself but could still appreciate some magnificent machines. Food was simple but tasty and filling, Had beef rib and chips, very nice and good value. A nice pint of ale washed it down.

The Plough Silchester RoadEnglish country pub with an unspoilt interior serving cask ale. Really good experience. A range of baguettes are served that are excellent value, but only at lunch time.
